I think your assessment of the DRG body is a bit off. You said the new body might be good for Rhongomiant, but I think Gleti's body will still remain best for a white damage set. The STP would be nice obviously, but not necessarily and can be made up in other pieces. I think the new body would be better for Ryunohige, the mythic. It will be an interesting alternative to Hjarrandi body, which a lot of mythic users still use. This will give slightly better STP, wyvern accuracy stats which is never bad, better magic evasion, better accuracy and attack, and haste(if needed but maybe not because of the absurd JA haste that DRG gets).
Also, crit damage is good for any weapon skill with Shining One.

All true, also Empy+3 body is bis for Savage with Kraken offhand.
I believe Gleti is not for RNG, the Ikenga is... I like the new Empyrean. Also SE tries to keep relevant difficult pieces of gear
I screwed that up yeah, realized after the fact. I think I do mention it quickly at the end of the RNG review pointing out that Ikenga is even worse.

NIN hands - Im surprised none in chat correct you on this. That elemental ninjutsu damage +18% is NOT a multiplier. It's just MAB+18, which makes this hands only a good Futae piece and small upgrade to general Burst set
Legs - Counter is overrated on NIN, because it works when shadows are down, which rarely happens on tanking NIN
Generally NIN empy +3 sucks a lot. Feet are really the only really good piece.
RNG legs - Those are amazing midshot and RNG doesn't have access to Gleti's. RNG has Ikenga from Odyssey (which you realized on feet, but havent gone back to legs)
I think you completely overlooked accuracy for master on SMN set. It's excellent utility TP set (4/5 with Gazu bracelet R15).
- Super high accuracy for KC offhand or AM3 Nirvana
- Highest Avatar Favor while TPing
- Capped PDT and 40%DT from head, body, legs, earring (highest roll on +1 or whatever at +2) and back
- Super high MEVA on empy +3. 23 more than Nyame in those slots. Also super high MDB. 15 more than Nyame in those slots.
- Capped - Avatar perpetuation cost
Ofc it has no sTP, but you can still get some of it in accessories and from samurai roll too. Your TP gain would still be very high with AM3 Nirvana or Maxentius/KrakenClub.

Unfortunately, the NIN set is mostly useless aside from the feet and, once every three minutes, the hands. The head would not be used even without the DW +7, as the 10% DA only applies with Innin up and while you're standing directly behind the mob. There are better options. The Migawari effect on the body is actually counterproductive to NINs staying alive. You don't want Miga to get used at a higher HP level, because it'll just get wasted on something that can easily be survived and cured through rather than something that would actually kill you. The hands are only good for Futae nukes, and Futae's recast is three minutes. The legs are basically a "I'm caught without shadows and praying that I'll counter while recasting" piece. NINs can get 100% SIRD on Utsu at this point, however. As a career NIN, I made the feet +2 immediately. I then did the entire SAM and RDM sets before I remembered to bother with the hands.
Sounds about right, none of the NINs I know were super happy with the set
