I don't know if this is helpful or not but I often find that the people who get really scared about the thoughts they are having (myself included), the thoughts that don't align with their values at all, the thoughts that are the opposite of what they'd actually want, are, typically, very loving, sensitive, compassionate people and that's why they see these thoughts as so terribly intrusive. So, I'm just thinking, would pointing this out - the fact that if they didn't care so much they probably wouldn't have even noticed these thoughts, help them see just how well they truly are? I just remember my mom telling me before "crazy people don't' worry about whether or not they're crazy!" and I thought "Wow! That kinds makes sense"... Not that I'm saying there are crazy people out there who are any less capable of realizing their wellness but I do think that some of us are so focused on getting it "right" and being "good" that we innocently grab onto anything that looks like it might hinder that goal, thus, making it an issue when it never really was!

Yes giving the thought attention gives it power let the thought come then let it go and carry on with your normal thought pattern I know this sounds easy it’s not it takes time took me best part of a year to get it but when you do life goes back to as near to normal as possible we are no our thoughts simple
