Hello dear the steps are quite different 1) basecoat 2)basecoat again 3) light sand paper 4) first white coat 5) sandpaper 6)second white coat 7) neon coat 8) glossy Bye 👋🏻
Thanks for the input! After using Giardini edge paint and base for two years, I find that sanding at all did not give me the desired results without damaging the material, as I do not use leather.
@@SeaminglyWicked hi dear the secret is BURNING the edges first to make the surface even. The final result will depend on how many imperfections the leather edges got. The sand paper process comes afterwards. Also the final step doesn’t require sand paper
These videos have been extremely helpful as I dive into advanced bag making with vinyls. Thank you so much and please make more vids like these!
I’m so glad it was helpful! I’m hoping to get back into a grove of making tutorials 😁
This is a great cheap alternative thank you! I'm doing a cosplay project but didn't want to spend a fortune on supplies.
Ohhh what cosplay? Are you on socials? I’d love to see the end result!
How about after you modge podge , you sandpaper it to be smoother than the paint.. Do you you think it would come out smooth
I can only find Giardini edge coat for leather. Is that what you use for your vinyl? I’m assuming it works for both leather and vinyl…?
Thank you for posting this! Have you tried it with the matte mod podge?
Not yet! I bought some at Walmart a few weeks ago with the intention of doing a tutorial with I want to but I haven’t gotten around to it
You rock :p
How long did it last? Like was there any issues a couple months down the road where it peeled or anything? Just curious as to a follow up 😊
Mine has never peeled off. The only wear is around corners but it’s not terrible
I’m going to try tulip fabric paint. See what happens.
Where can we get the rotary tool you are using for the glue
Amazon! It’s an edge paint roller
Thank you
I have a question for the base coat...
Can I use Mod Podge as a Base Coat?
You can but it takes longer to dry between coats and takes longer to build up
What is the brand of the edge base, not the modge podge
Giardini base coat dense
