Here is a walkthrough of my coffin wallet pattern. I will eventually add a voiceover but until then, enjoy the music 🤪. This is to supplement my pattern etsy.me/2Fplm8L
im sorry, when wher do you add the interfacing & stabilizer? And aren’t they the same thing? It’s not in the written pattern either
Hard agree about intros on tutorial videos!
Dito on this side lol
I watch it from start to finish
I like your tattoos of the Egyptian God Horus. I had a black tomcat fur baby named Horus (also his black feline fur baby mum Isis). It will be 7 years on 19 Nov 2023 that I lost him 😭😭😭😿. It was 3 years 1 Sep 2023 I lost Isis 😭😭😭😿. I miss them both every nano second of every day. Great tutorial.
I can only find Giardini edge coat for leather. Is that what you use for your vinyl? I’m assuming it works for both leather and vinyl…?
Thanks for the video! Mines been cut out forever I've just been to chicken to try it! Lol
Love your wallet, Happy Halloween Eve
You can also use the Contour feature to remove features like holes or the zipper opening.
I can barely use the damn thing hahahahah I’ll try that out!
You should be able to nit the contour and delete
Thank you! I pretty much know nothing about the cricut so this helps a lot
Thx for not doing all the intro crap!!
Do you have a link for your magnetic clips? Those are amazing!
I don't because someone gave them to me but you could buy magnetic name tags. It's the same thing without the "pink" tax
Great video, I love how authentic you are, makes me feel confident to try this finally. Can you advise what thread brand and weight and what needle you are using? I will be sewing on a domestic also. Thks!
I use Gutterman thread sand a 90/14 needle
Can I have the link for your pretty rainbow seam roller!!! It’s amazing.
I got it from Zor-Elle Fabrics & Hardware
Love your pattern. Would love to see how u did the heart cut out
Also good to see you uploaded your own tutorial! I think last year I was watching Luna Tea's tutorial based on your patterns ^-^
Thanks for the backpack addition! Last year I was making the same thing, but wanted to do a backpack version. It seems easy in hindsight but as a newbie seamstress, the conversion was too much for my brain 😂 love this easy tutorial
Thanks for the video! It was good to see how to do the card slots. I am making some of these for a couple of local Halloween events I am a vendor at!
I would love to know where you found that mounting piece to hold your zipper pulls while you put the pull onto the zipper tape!
From Bad Stitches Co! It’s called a zipper jig
Oh, and also, I very much appreciate when you show the sewing at actual time and not sped up. Sped up video drives me crazy.
I find it helps a lot to show the actual sewing in a video. For me, talking only through the steps is not enough. I am a visual person. Thanks for showing the actual sewing in this video. :)
I tried my hardest this time!! Tutorials are really hard for me to record lol
I'm so excited to try this pattern! Love all the commentary during repeated sections and as a newbie, I much appreciate the repetitiveness of steps. Thank you for participating in Little Shops of Horror so I could find this pattern!
I’m so glad you liked it!
Thank you so much for your excellent tutorial! My first one, the only one I've made so far, was a rounded-corner disaster. So, I'll be doing some practice on some butt-ugly fabric that I tossed in the closet until I feel a little more confident.
Can’t wait to see!
جميل جدا 👍👍👍
I have 4 of your patterns thus far, sooo awesome. Commenting to say hey, ditto lol. I watched it til the end. Now I am going to check out the slip pocket tutorial as well. Thank you for the video, it is always helpful to watch someone else sew.
Call me a nerd….but i watch tutorials in their entirety. Sometimes 10 times until i get the knack or technique i need to learn. So i love it 😻
I do too. I learn a lot
what is the tool that you use with your pressure foot?
It’s a hump jumper! Use it for thicker seams so you don’t skip stitches
Where has this tool been all my life!! ❤
@@gemmaphilip3240 it’s the bessssst!!!
i deeply appreciate this tutorial, especially the commentary.
I love your tutorials. ❤
I’m glad you love them!
Thanks for the advice love watching you
Ditto. On the list of things to cut out tomorrow.
Thanks for this, you are fun to watch and listen to 😂
Love it thank you so much! You are so funny this is like, so totally me when I’m working on projects!
It’s a problem 😂😂
Love the backpack tip!
I downloaded the pattern update, but what was the difference between the old and new patterns?
The entire written instructions 😂 don’t even look at the original hahahaha
@@SeaminglyWicked okay lol yeah the instructions are better
Where can I find the pattern for this? Both my girls would absolutely love this!
Www.seaminglywicked.com in my pattern shop. It’s currently FREE so go get it!!!
Where can U get this pattern .there was no link
Currently free on my website! seaminglywicked.com/products/coffin-bag-sewing-pattern-pieces
I am probably in the minority but I usually watch content in it's entirety, for a couple of reasons. I love watching other people sew and I am always looking to learn a new way to hold something or maneuver the fabrics more efficiently, and I enjoy the chatter while I am sewing even if I am not watching, it also helps the content creator in viewing time and monitization. Side note, thank you for swearing, it's so appreciated and you earn the privilege sewing this on a domestic like a CHAMP LOL😃👍 New Subscriber 💚
I hear you! I personally have very limited time so if I’m stuck I don’t usually watch the whole thing 😂😂 but I’ll definitely let it play over and over in the background hahahaha And thank you!! I’ve learned so many tricks and my domestic machines are amazing! My oldie is currently in the shop so I’m enjoying playing with the new one
1000 thank yous! Ive made several of these and you're gonna save me so much time with this tutorial and tips. My new best friend or hero, you pick 😉
I prefer villain 😂😂😂😂 I’m all for making things easier cause I hate difficult things hahaha
I was ecstatic when I saw this bag in my emails today, 🙌🙌🙌 Thank you ❤
You’re so welcome!
Thanks can’t wait to try this this way
Are you using your hump-jumper as a zipper jig?!
Nah, it’s just a different style of a zipper jig. It’s more sturdy than others I’ve tried!
wait whaaaaaat you have skull pins ?? they are awesome !
Yah!!! Crosswind Creates sells them on Etsy!
@@SeaminglyWicked thank you I will check that !
I have literally no idea what is going on. Everyone else who's making this pattern is doing things differently than the directions and it's hard to follow along. I was really hoping this would make more sense
Which modification are you looking for help on? There’s videos in my Facebook group for additional versions as well as a few from other makers on CZcams
what?
How long did it last? Like was there any issues a couple months down the road where it peeled or anything? Just curious as to a follow up 😊
Mine has never peeled off. The only wear is around corners but it’s not terrible
This is a great cheap alternative thank you! I'm doing a cosplay project but didn't want to spend a fortune on supplies.
Ohhh what cosplay? Are you on socials? I’d love to see the end result!
These videos have been extremely helpful as I dive into advanced bag making with vinyls. Thank you so much and please make more vids like these!
I’m so glad it was helpful! I’m hoping to get back into a grove of making tutorials 😁
Can ponal glue be used as a substitute for base coat.
