#261. This REALLY TESTED ME! But Was 100% WORTH IT! Resin SPACE GLASS!
In todays Resin Art video we try a technique known as 'Space Glass' but with Resin!
I was sent a video of a piece of space glass and asked if I could try and recreate it using resin, it is not an easy technique to crack, but these are my first attempts.
You could try in a sphere resin mold but the openings are very small, you can get the resin sphere molds with a join in the middle but I have never had great luck with those.
The pieces are absolutely stunning and make beautiful resin art jewelry pendants!

Do one of your crazy metallic galaxy ideas or something similar on one of the heart molds or smaller rounds, let that cure, then encase it in one of the bigger moulds that it would fit inside of. FYI, Daniel, I was in my early 30s when I started having trouble with my words. I'm 65 now the problem isn't any worse but since I had concerns, my doc sent me for memory testing. It seems to be a fairly common thing. My memory issues at this point are down to stress. It is worse when I'm tired. Just wanted you to know it isn't uncommon and probably nothing to be concerned about.

I can share a tip I learned while making cake pops: after dipping and waiting for it to drip off, lightly tap the wrist of the hand you're holding the stick with a few times.
It helps getting rid of the access faster without having to scrape.

WONDERFUL! I love this sort of fiddly resin project! I would recommend for the top half of the piece instead of just semi-transparent blue resin, to do a swirl of microglitter as well so it appears as floating stars!
