      This on is level 1, NOT level 5/5. Just do 4 corners first, and fill up the middle. Its just 10 pc jigsaw. Should take max few min.

      Mattquatch Spot on comment. Giraffe puzzle remains the only video in which an expert was called in for a solution.

      I was totally unable to solve that Giraffe puzzle, and had to ask my 15 year old nephew to show me how. BTW, imagine a 666 piece Giraffe Puzzle, and all the religious nuts denouncing it.

    I like the idea of a jigsaw puzzle that doesn't need a picture to be solved but just the pieces themselves. It's a good design.

      Have you ever heard of a milk jigsaw puzzle? They are like any other jigsaw puzzle, except all the pieces are completely white, so they are quite hard to solve since the pieces don't have any features on them that can help you put it together.

      Turn any jigsaw puzzle upside down and you can't use the picture to help solve it.

      Abhi just always try on and on- for most it is luck, for many determination. Also, instagram, tumblr and facebook help a lot.

    Honestly you say it's difficult, but as someone who hates puzzles and gets frustrated easily with them, this thing looks fun as hell rather than hard. Just fitting everything together instead of figuring out how they're supposed to be fitted. I wish more puzzles were like this.

    This looks very Greek inspired with the actual pattern of the parts. I agree the way the parts drop in and disappear is very satisfying

    I think the phrase you're looking for is "the grain of the wood." It's a weird expression, but it refers to that pattern you of stripes and lines in the wood.

    This is very interesting, but there aren't as many orientations as you make it seem. The geometric design has all the shapes going the same direction (and that direction is indicated by the little marks in the top left and bottom right corners of the board). So there are only two orientations for each piece.

      SgtSupaman if you can visualize the parts without the edges, u can see the overall shape. If you held it up to the light or worked over a light table it would be easy. Like a 20 Piece puzzle.

    This seems easy. It’s like one of these real life things. You’ll figure it out as you start putting it together. You’ll mess up a few times but get it at the end

    May i ask, i know very late (found your channel recently), if the void spaces in the bottom Right and Top Left were there when you got the puzzle? it seems to me that those would have provided a good starting point? Or am I wrong? they seem to only support the placement of the 2 first pieces?

      im sure coming up with the idea took them a bit but to actually make the template and laser cut prototype for theoretical use less than an hour between laser cut and CAD work

    0:34 I noticed the back was completely blank. Now imagine if they put the same markings on the back as well - so you don't know which side faces up and which faces down!

      The only way to solve it then, would literally be trial and error! I think it would still be a good puzzle, even if this were the case. It would definitely be difficult to solve. : )
