Hey Chris, that blue one, you can make the pieces into a square on their own.
I so hope he trys that it would be nice if it will do that to lol
I was wondering the same thing.
These are my favorite puzzles on your channel. Every time you see one of his puzzles, your brain immediately thinks "easy peasy", but you know it will never be what it seems. I love that he takes something so simple and thinks sooo far outside of the box, that when it's solved, you're still left wondering, what? How?
I've followed your channel for years but for some reason I stopped watching your videos a couple of years ago but I've now found my way back to watching them again and I'm grateful for that. Especially the puzzle videos, they've always been a favourite of mine. They're so relaxing and are kind of taking place in their own "bubble" in the sense of the goal being as "simple" to solve the puzzle. Thank you for all the great content you've given us this far and looking forward to all the content that are to come!
all I keep thinking is how they look like very complicated ice cube trays. I'm obsessed.
I went to puzzle master on Saturday for both of these but Bird 11 was sold out but was able to get Puzzle 16. Been playing around with it and have all but 1 piece to fit. So stressful trying to get them all in. Haha. But love ur videos, they always keep me wanting to buy more puzzles. Leon always smiles when I walk in cuz he knows I’m there to spend money. Haha
Leon's great! Thanks for supporting!
@@ChrisRamsay52 oh he sure is. He always has new stuff to show me every time I go in. He even told me that he sent you these 2 puzzles so I was trying to solve Puzzle 16 before your video went up but that was a epic fail for me. Haha.
Your intros never disappoint. A huge bravo to you and your team for always delivering the best quality of picture and sound 👍
Thank you so much 😀
Agree
I have a strong feeling I would try to solve those by marking each piece with a number, then writing down what pieces each slot could contain, and trying to solve it with just a pen and paper. Sounds like a graph problem to solve
IF I were to attempt that puzzle, I would probably label all of the slots;
Then, what I would do it have a piece of paper that correlates with any puzzle piece.
Then, just solve it like sudoku; try putting a piece in every slot, and write down what is possible.
The solution should show itself.
To make it easier, I would use graph paper; have one slot on the graph for piece, and one for the slot of the puzzle. Solution should form a diagonal line.
I was about to comment this
I was hoping I would see him solve it this way as it would be the most organized and logical and would be so satisfying to watch
This is how Karen @Karen Puzzles did it.
Mate, the B-Roll is top fucking class. Evidently incredible audio and video skills in your team. Wonderful to see.
I was just listening to that song, it is a good one. I also recommend new home by Austin Farwell.
Hey Chris, you always wonder what we do when we watch your videos. Lately your videos are the only things that are able to lull me to sleep. Your voice is so calming and listening to you solve your puzzles makes me so comfortable that I can finally get to sleep after a bout of insomnia. Thank you so much 💕
Chris 1 minute after putting all but two pieces into the puzzle. “I am going to replace these one at a time systematically.” 2 tries later … all chaos ensues.. systematic process out the window!!
Your channel has reinterested me in puzzles. Thank you! I finally even learned how to solve a Rubik's Cube!!
I am in admiration with both you and Mr Puzzle, you are both rivals but you both have respect for each other. And you respect each other by acknowledging that you know either one has already solved it before hand but yet do not watch the episode so you both have a fair chance.
I love this concept, though I think it may be possible to solve both of these in under 15 minutes using the same method. I might be crazy, but it feels like this should work:
1. Somehow label each of the pieces and holes
2. Make a list of which pieces can fit in each hole
3. Find the hole (or piece) with the fewest options. Hopefully there is one with only one option, otherwise you will have to repeat this for each option.
4. Remove that piece/hole pairing from all other lists, and repeat until every piece has a hole.
If at any point there is a piece with no possible holes or a hole with no possible piece, then you know the option you picked must have been wrong. It's a simple backtracking algorithm that can be done all with a pen and paper if you really wanted.
Maybe this would take all the fun out of it for most people, but it seems fun to me this way. Otherwise it's just random guessing and checking until you get lucky enough to get it.
I immediately thought the same thing!
That's exiwhat I was thinking! It seems Chris always likes the guessing and checking but watching someone do it this way would be satisfying to watch
Make a bipartite graph :)
Love your work Chris!
It’s so hard for me to watch these because the whole time I’m thinking “try that piece over there! It definitely fits over there!” I’m probably totally wrong lol but it’s still irritating because I want to try putting the piece in and can’t 😂🤣 might just have to buy a copy for myself!
These puzzles videos just send me to sleep 😴 in a good way 😊.
They are so relaxing to watch
hey chris! just wanted to say that my 1st playing cards holo edition just arrived! i ordered them right about release date but i think everything was a bit backed up. anyways they feel great and look great super glad to have them!
Hope you enjoy them!
I love seeing this man struggle
I've been buying puzzles since I first started watching your videos. I didn't realise how much I enjoyed doing them and keep them on my coffee table for people to fidget with and so many people pick them up and give them ago and also find them entertaining (or frustrating 😂)
Thank you!
Your intros are truly why I keep coming back, always beautiful. Great work 👏
I was literally just thinking a few days ago I hope you do more puzzle peice type videos. This is great.
I don't know how, but your intros just keep getting better 🤟
Cool puzzles man, and great solves - cheers man 🙏🏻
Both of these puzzles fall into the "thanks i hate it" category for me. I'm glad you had the patience to solve them but i would have yeeted them into a furnace within 5 min.
Hearing the Mark Rober song at the end really made the advertisement at the beginning way better
This intro was amazing. Yall never fail to surprise me. I watch these intros several times they're just so kick ass
Beautiful opening! Love your work🥰
It's been a few months since the last time I've watched your puzzle vide and by far, this is my favorite one! 💯💯💯💯💯
(And excited for the escape room 🧩🧩‼️)
Yay! Thank you!
Lol, Chris would try to fit a square peg into a circle just to make sure xD
i love your videos man, continue doing please
I hope your doin awesome man! Always awesome videos 🔥
It's not puzzling why watching Chris getting puzzled over puzzles every week is enjoyable. 😁
When i really like a book, i will really take my time in reading it. Taking in every moment, every word there is, vividly imagining the scene in my head. I'm not sure if it is the same with puzzle, but I will enjoy every seconds of solving it without worrying too much about the stopwatch. As a viewer, i love watching the process of solving it. Chill and relax.
Tbh Chris, the biggest thing/heart felt moment on your channel was finally getting your dope ass office. Been a fan for years now so keep doing you homie!!!
I know this could sound rude but your videos are the best to watch before bed. Watching you work through a puzzle is so pleasant and relaxing. It helps me forgot the stress of a day and focus on the fun mental challenge. I really appreciate the videos. Thank you hours of entertainment. It means a lot to me!
You guys make the best b-roll footage ive ever seen it is amazing keep up the great work
CHRIS ... you are so bloody awesome and interesting ... I love your videos of you solving these amazing puzzles as you are the best and the only puzzle solver I do watch ever. I would love to tour your office its so awesome and I have always wanted my own art studio and it would be like yours .. awesome solve you Rock
The kind of puzzle you would want to approach almost like sudoku. Give each piece a number and then put that number in each space it could fit until you find the spaces where only one number can go and keep going like that.
These are most tempting of any puzzle I've seen on the channel. These seem super easy to me because my brain thinks in patterns and small differences. Hard to explain but I suck at verbal and am not great at math but understand how shapes can be alter to fit just clicks for me.
Loved the intro. Awesome job. 🇨🇦🍁🐘🤗
I can't wait for you to post the escape room!! You're dropping it a few days before my birthday. So that will be my birthday gift this year. Thanks Chris and can't wait.
I just want to say that you are my favorite CZcamsr keep making great videos. Every time I’m bored I watch one of your videos.
I love jigsaw puzzle, keep doing the good work man 😁😁😁
Love watching you solve jigsaw type puzzles. Don't worry about mr puzzle, he doesn't have half of your likability. You are leaps and bounds ahead of him. Love your intros and watching you and your buddies work together. See ya soon Chris! 🧩🧩👍💯✌🇨🇦😎
Happy to say im at a binge catching up with your videos i missed
Can you interview Yuu Asaka. There no videos of him on CZcams. It would be fascinating to hear and see how he comes up with them and the way his mind works. Have you ever thought about interviewing puzzle creators?
His joy at solving it is contagious
So excited for this..time to save my coin and get these! I'm trying to collect all of You Asaka's puzzles.
Been a while since i've checked your videos how have you gone from a few 100,000 subs to 5.7mil. congrats well done Chris!!
Chris: I’m no genius, I took 30 min instead of 15.
Me: I could do that in... 3 hours.
Probably the first video where even i was guessing where it could go lol good job chris keep up the good stuff bro
I can hear the creator of these puzzles laughing maniacally in his secret lair as he watches Chris struggling to solve his puzzles...!
Awesome puzzle! Love your videos....puzzles and magic :)
The intro was movie quality 😍😍 totally stepped up the game!
I feel like my method for going about this would be to set up a grid, where I lettered the pieces and numbered the holes, and then turned it into a sudoku-esque Pencil Puzzle.
Hey Chris thank you for the artlist. I signed up immediately lol. Had to restart the video. I can't wait to use it. It's half the price as the one I was using and I was allowed three a month defiantly a big thumbs up 👍 👍 👍
Actually it was a third of the price
I dont know why your content always blows my mind away...
What a incredible video! The puzzles are awsome !
Glad you like them!
I think honestly the easier way to solve this, is by a grid. Label the pieces and the slots, then for each slot write down which piece fits there. (Write this down as a matrix.) Then solving the puzzle should be easy using this matrix.
That's how I would solve it as well
I love these videos and enjoy jigsaw style ones best, so yea. I also tried an escape room once with some friends, got really salty when we totally and utterly lost lol
dope intro bro.. keep up your work..😎🔥
I love how quickly he says "let's go" after he finishes a puzzle. Like if he doesn't say it quickly enough, the pieces will just explode out of the puzzle lol
I would try to put (almost) all pieces in each hole. This would take a while, but then you know which pieces fit in the least holes and which holes can be filled by the least pieces. For example you started with a piece that only fits in a single hole. This is a great start since you can eliminate that piece and hole for the rest of the solve. If you find more of these cases, the problem reduces in complexity significantly. Who knows, maybe there exists a Sudoku-like solution for this puzzle?
Right? 👍👍 love sudoku
So excited for the escape room video!!!!
We couldn't clean up the end of that tube in such high quality intros? Nothing big, but I'm super detail orientated in quality production
Sorry!
@Chris Ramsay lol don't be sorry! Love all you do! Just thought pf that as surprising from content of your caliber! 😉
Loved the intro!🙂 And I also like how you take time to interact with your fans.
I would literally scream, I’m not patient!!! Great job!!!
you and mr puzzle
cover two parts of my inquisitive puzzle solving mind :) I am writing this before I watch the video bc I am really looking forward to your solve
YAY FOR TRIAL AND ERROR!
Chris, have you ever added up how many puzzles you have completed all these years? I look forward to watching you solve the way you go about solving them.
love your videos!
Thank you!!
that intro was like watching puzzles being assembled at Aperture Science
i wish I had so many cool puzzles as you do. I am autistic and loooooove solving puzzles and riddles. Greetings from switzerland.
I could watch you're shorts for hours
I know I'm crazy, but I'd be lining up the pieces in a grid on a piece of paper, numbering all the "spots" in the puzzle, and writing down all the spots that each piece will fit into. I'd go methodically through each piece and each spot, hoping to find pieces that only fit in one or two spots and determining what combination will fill all spots will all pieces. I'm sure it would take longer, but that's one way I can think of to methodically discover.a solution. but ANYway...
I just watched Karen Puzzles do one of these, but I’ll always watch Chris do them too cause the intros and ASMR in his videos are just superb 👌
I would have approached this like a sudoku. assign each piece a number and each space a letter. You mentioned a few times how some pieces would only fit 1 spot. Try each piece in every spot noting how many spots and the variety of fits for each spot. so piece 1 can fit into spot A,D and F3x. Them mathematically put the pieces with less combinations first reducing the number of variants to solve!
Absolutely love your videos so eye pleasing xxx
My initial thought is to just go with a bipartite graph which sounds like it would work almost flawlessly, bar the whole idea of taking time out to check every piece to every possible hole, but it would work and it’s a pretty cool yet simple application of the graph itself
I am always laughing at myself, as I say to you: “Obviously Chris, that piece goes right THERE!” And then you prove that it won’t. It’s always easy on this side of the camera, my friend…☺️💗
I can’t believe I still yell at the tv with no response for minutes. Love the videos makes up for the fact that I don’t have the money to buy all these puzzles.
"looks can be deceiving"
That's what she saaaaiiiiid
The intro is Soo beautiful
Try to make a 4 x 4 square with the blue one (jigsaw 16) i've done it and it was more challenging than the actual puzzle but also quite fun. You learn a lot about the pieces .
Kristoff!!! Where is ze timer?! Youf forgahtten 😂😂
The pieces are satisfying to listen to lol
Hey Chris, I could be wrong it’s been a while since I took Japanese but I’m pretty sure you have an extra hiragana in your sign. Ganbaru is just がんばる you have an extra u (う) at the end.
Very nice puzzles.
These revolutionize the concept of a jigsaw puzzle 🤯🔥
*for me, at least 🤪
Good Morning Chris!
The music in the beginning is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa sooo goood
I think the optimal strategy would've been place the piece that only went in 1 spot. Then find a different piece that now only fits in 1 spot. And continue to find pieces that only fit in 1 of the remaining spots, as the amount of available spots dwindles
ooh a video of a escape room after my bday which I'm going to an escape room for wow a double escape I guess :∆
So. Much. Fun. Don't know why, but don't question it!
my guess for the difference in time is the familiarity between the basic puzzle piece shapes. Even if the spaces have extra slots, you automatically know "this piece requires this shape to fit" while the circular pieces that you're not used to handling first need to be deciphered for the required spacing, the required distance, and even the normal traps you would find yourself in that you are already used to with the basic puzzle shapes... plus some dumb luck ;)
13:52
Feels like I made my sim do a task and it went to fast forward
More sequential puzzles!
2:59 I bet it's a folded paper saying "Like and Subscribe"
The base for the bird puzzle almost looks like it was made out of silicon
You should totally start interviewing puzzle makers.
My mom would LOVE/HATE these!!! So deceiving!
