@@roger3582 Yes but they reflect orange and the see-through reflection (with a white paper under) is turquoise. So there's some mirrorism in the color as well.

According to the site, that’s the standard solution and there’s at least one alternate solution.
Probably inside out and outside in. I mean that's basically the only two ways you could solve it without just randomly putting pieces together.
My guess/hope is that the alternative solution is a rectangle. There are enough "side" pieces that's the first idea that comes to mind.
My mind just realized it's 49! -is a Prime number- DANG IT.. it's can ONLY be square solutions of 7x7 - because they're all roughly the same size pieces, otherwise there could be an exception.
@@ChazEvansdale Well, you're still wrong as 49 isn't a prime number. But yeah, the only combination to achieve 49 is 7x7.

It’s says there’s a 3x3 solution, a 5x5 solution, another solution using all 49 pieces with the square piece still in the middle, and a solution using all 49 pieces with the square piece not in the middle

For those of you who was like me and skip over Chris's intros, let me tell you something. They are not only extraordinarily well done and entertaining to watch, but it adds a little extra to the puzzle & video you wouldn't otherwise get. I would recommend not skipping the intro once and just see how you like it.

This is so calming. Love you and your channel . my anxiety finally takes a break when I watch your videos. I never realised how into puzzles and puzzle boxes I am.
Chris, just an FYI I love you but every time I see you mess with that “go away, come in” mat it kills me lol. You don’t flip it depending on who it is as a joke, you lay it outside your home so it says “come in” when someone enters your home and when they eventually leave it says “go away” as they’re leaving, that’s the joke. You don’t turn it around for certain people. Sorry my ocd of you not knowing that yet is killing me internally.
I don't think I've ever seen people use those mats the way you just described, I mean it makes sense but it also makes sense to switch it up depending on who's around.
