Wow, that was fast Chris! I took me 10 hours to open it! And I can confirm your statement that even knowing the solution it can be quite tricky to open it again. Great video as usual! Keep on puzzling! 😁📹
I'm so glad I'm subscribed to both this channel and Mr Puzzle. Saw Mr Puzzle's first attempt to try and open this. And was so happy you opened it on the second try.
Same goes for Hanayama's NEWS puzzle. They are both like small safes, that you just need to crack, even if you know exactly how they work :)
It took him as well 10 hours mr puzzle, this is his 2nd try and was already busy half a day hehe
Searching Mr. Puzzle between comments 😁 I loved your explanation btw
the way the pin is put into the "light" half... I'm wondering now if the trick to opening it easily again would be to get it in front of a light source and looking through the crack to find the pin as the first reference point (seeing as how the light should reflect off of the "dimple" differently), then from there you could find the other reference points simply by knowing exactly where the pin is. Still has the dexterity element though.
“Closer to the camera so you guys can hear it”
Music proceeds to drown out whatever tiny “clink” the puzzle made.

And then, most of the times, nothing happens :D I noticed that since first Chris video I watched and I kinda like it.
Sounds like pass the parcel.
You mean the ads?.
Naw lol its just for suspense
Haha just in time to witness it.
Thats tru
Funny yo
10 hours must be the average for this one. I bought it and brought it with me on a flight to Germany. 9 hour flight, I sat their the entire flight trying to get it and finally got it literally as the plane was landing. It was amazing!
Matt Barnett congrats
they let you on a Plane w/ it. it could have been a bomb
norman graves it would’ve gone through an X-ray machine so they would be able to tell it isn’t
Is it easy to close it again to give to others?
you must lying
The sound he makes when accidentally solves the puzzle everytime is priceless.
almost every puzzle he solves is by accident lol

Even crazier then him solving at 1 hour is the fact that 25% of you dont listen to the man's commentary that says it took him 10hrs.
and all of you don't see it's fucking fake
Actually tho they don’t listen at all
So what then why are you watching then
@@pakinh420 can you back up that its fake with proof, timestamps of inconsistencies in footage or dialogue surrounding this or any of his puzzles, can you prove your seemingly ignorant, hateful comment in any seance of falsity, why are you watching if you believe its fake, are you the type of man that enjoys fake tits and asses like Nikki's or do you just like being a blip in the existence of the 1000 or so people that will see this comment and know your alive. See i think your just jealous, im not sure of what, maybe its his puzzle solving skills, maybe its his personality that your failing to want to be, or maybe just maybe its that this man can and is being appreciated for a mostly useless skill and has gained the love of 1000nds of people and might be remembered for more then just a few years after he's gone. You are an insignificant blip in human history and all that people will know of you besides your family and friends is that you showed your insecurity by disrespecting a man held in higher regard. Your not gunna ruin anyone's view of him, only of yourself. You only accomplished bringing me joy by giving me the opportunity to write this thank you blip.
Odds Games wow, u didn’t have to do him like that, lol
Chris: puts 1 ball bearing in and closes.
Titan: Ding Ding Ding, Round 2!!!
does anyone rewatch his videos at night because the combination of his voice, the puzzle, and background sound calm you. idk i could be weird but it’s soothing to me. 😂
Literally just watching this to have something more quiet to go to sleep. Asmr? Creepy
Calm sounds? Too quiet
Puzzles? VERY interesting to me

Anyone else notice that exactly at 1 hour it opens like as the digit turned 1:00
Yea
That’s Satisfying as hell
It's so good!!!
what
You know that was the solution right? Nothing he did, but when the clock hit a certain time, it sends a signal to the mechanism that opens it. That would be cool.
As soon as he put one in and closed it I was like "well thats never opening again lol"
Gotta applaud a puzzler giving a shout out and props to another puzzler!
Nicely done on the solve, and on being a good part of the community.
Lemon juice on a paper towel will take that patina off no problem and back to shiny

ketchup too! i have some old copper lined french sauce pans.. i use ketchuop to keep them pretty
Vinegar as well
@@wabbylegs101 its the vinegar in the ketchup... so same affect but without all the sugar and stuff lol
@@PhilieBlunt666 Of course. I actually prefer the ketchup because it sticks. you spread it on, and wipe it off... instead of using straight vinegar which can get spotty very quickly, ;) trust me, i know whatsup babe
Really like how you can just stick with your process. Though I'd like you and Mr. Puzzel to play a board game like Guess Who and talk about why you do what you do, why puzzels, why magic. Keep it up!
Exactly 1 hour in this sitting! What a coïncidence! Great job Chris!

13:38 EXACTLY ON THE 1 HOUR MARK LOLLLL
There is definitely something cathartic about the sound of the metal puzzles especially! Although I believe the background music helps too lol. Love all your puzzle videos
Found your videos a couple days ago. Actually they just popped up. Really enjoy them.
After the summary and before the drawing, my guess would be a numberless combination lock.
That's the same thing i thought. Having to turn it to certain points to unlock pins and make the bals move to different positions
It is actually quite a simple concept but yet it is really genius in its complexity.
always love the tracks in the background on your videos
as soon as he started turning it and it was locking at certain points, i knew immediately it was a combination lock method. a lockpicker/safecracker might enjoy a puzzle like this 👌🏻
that was my thought as well 🤝
13:37 how perfect was that?!
Exactly 1 hour into filming, he solves the puzzle
Mr.E and he solved it at 1337.
Illuminati confirmed.
The visual ASMR of just watching you concentrate is so satisfying and relaxing
You do a great job showcasing these puzzles
I love watching your videos, they help me relax and sleep. Thank you.
I was falling asleep. Then it popped open and I was "Ohhhh shiiiit!" Wide awake again. Sigh
Come on Chris, Mercury has no moons. Titan is the 2nd biggest moon in the solar system and is a moon of Saturn. YOU WEAR NASA CLOTHES MAN! You got this!
Travis Weidel 🤓[Nerd Check].Actually the largest moon in the solar system would be Ganymede.
@@tarrded oh man you got me by 37miles on the radius. It's fine, Chris isnt going to read this anyway..
It’s Jupiter
(Not to be an r/whoosh moment)
Titan is even bigger than Mercury :)
John Simon Jupiter is a planet not a moon...
This is honestly the best puzzle ive seen so far simply elegant!
Love this series man.. my new favorite magician too! Mad props to you and all the blessings in the future big dawg! 💯
Chris talking about the appearance of every puzzle: it’s very aesthetically pleasing
Chris Ramsay: master of magic and puzzle. Astronomy? Not so much. :-)
Right? :)
Mercury? Seriously? There are only two planets that don't have moons and mercury is one of them. Heck, Titan is even bigger than poor Mercury
Ok my buddy and I watched you solve some more puzzles and maybe you are just that good!!!!
You rock!
You are the reason I got into puzzles because I don’t really like jigsaw puzzles but you introduced me to different things and have inspired me to maybe later start YouTubing without dropping out of school because that’s not good but what I’m trying to say is thank you for the inspiration to even try a puzzle and now I’m doing these puzzring things that are like metal ring puzzles for beginners maybe you could do them just to make things a little calm one day when your angry at a different puzzle
When the music stops... You know its about to happen!
Chris: “Titan is a moon from Mercury”
...Mercury doesn’t have moons...
In fact, Titan may be a moon but it is bigger than the planet Mercury
My ears bled a little bit when he said that. Titan is a moon of Saturn, Like you said, Mercury doesn't even have any moons.😵
Me: Wow, this guy solves some pretty intricate, intellectual puzzles and puzzle-boxes...he must be really intelligent...
Chris: "Titan's a moon from Mercury."
Me: I...how?
Yes because everyone studies astronomy.
@@freighter1097 man, you learn this stuff in fifth grade, not in collage
Need to have one. Best puzzle I've seen so far.
That is a GORGEOUS puzzle! So shiny.
It's funny that I watched Mr Puzzle's video with his very detailed explanation, yet I was still as _puzzled_ as you in the beginning
7:20 The Titans were a group of Gods who reigned before the later Greek/Roman Gods overthrew them.
There is a moon of Saturn called Titan. It is the only moon in the solar system with a substantial atmosphere and liquid on the surface.
Titian's atmosphere is about 1.3 times as thick as Earth's.
I’m a mythology nerd too
love puzzles n magic, awesome channel to distract me from this crazy world. TY
Honestly enjoy watching your puzzle videos keeps me entertained especially during this pandemic with most things shut down
I would really like to have a puzzle made by Chris.
How can you write and draw wit a sharpie, their sound and feel give me goosebumps.

im a new sub to this channel and let me tell you this is one of my favorite things to do but to watch someone else makes it way more interesting.....i especially loved the virtual bank heist......hands down my favorite channel....great videos
Titan as in Atlas? In Greek, the titan Atlas was forced to hold the weight of the Heavens. The heavy part needs to weight down on the lighter part. My guess at least..
so basically a combo lock, like high school, but without numbers or a solution?
No
John Southern not even the same universe :\
John Southern that’s the same thing I was thinking but I know it’s a lot more complex than that. Like combo locks don’t have ball bearings like that
Basically a high school locker
I hsve seen 2 of your videos but your so good i have already subbed and have notifications on
your a very chill guy also when i watch you videos it makes me study more
Haven’t finished this video yet but this sounds like a combination lock
god dam is this a puzzle intro, or a god of war boss fight. 0_0 good job. :D i watch your vids for the epic intros, and your cool personality. (you remind me of my cousin Patrick)
Your channel is intriguing. I haven’t quite dissected all the components but the curiosity and the anticipation normally captivates but it causes a reaction for the audience to be eager for you to solve the puzzle which keeps the motivation to continue to watch the program even more enticing. It’s an interesting dynamic I Have not explored before.
A virtual exploration bringing the audience in on the journey to discover how the puzzle is solved. Not bad I’m sure that wasn’t your first intention and it probably just evolved into something more. Nonetheless I can understand why people gravitate to your channel. it’s not I’ll gimmick which is a nice refresher to have some authenticity to some of the bigger channels. Take care.
What a background for a puzzle I really like it
"Titan is a moon from Mercury"
-Chris Ramsay
It's a moon that orbits Saturn
@@RandomFlashFanGirl it is also a huge creature
@Nebula nɛbjʊlə And has an atmosphere that Mercury doesn't, and is literally as oppositely cold as Mercury is hot, which I'm sure you know. What made me laugh was Chris saying "I delved SO DEEP into this, looking at the angles of orbit and thingies and stuffs and" picked our smallest moonless planet as the random unimportant maybe useful factoid to repeat on CZcams.
I love me some Chris, and these are a great deal of the reasons. He's an awesome humble guy, and I love his content... but he's an adorable goof sometimes.
Chris is the kind of adult I want to be when I’m older 😂😁
This is awesome. You’re the man
Sweet sound of success.... Well done Chris

The best puzzle I've seen you do.
There are two types of people who can solve puzzles like that:
1. The smartest ones
2. The strongest ones

You should do a puzzle on a live stream

Puzzle race?
@@hellwolf09 Fabulous idea!
If you haven't already, take a look at different designs of safe locks. Lock manipulation has a lot of this kind thought process involved and is really fun to do.
I have no idea how you have so much patience with these. After 30min I'd be taking a cutting wheel to it and calling it a success
Now thats what i call a "ball buster"
Damn that montage was awesome, do that in other puzzles, bet that will give you views
Chris! you neeeeed to start livestreaming these puzzles!
I was thinking this was similar to a regular lock mechanism that keys use with pins and it pretty much is. The whole puzzle is like angling a bump key or lock picking where the tools are inside the lock.
So, how many tattos do you want in your hands?
Chris: Yes
You know somethings about to go down when the music stops
I'm at 3:30 and thinking it is more of a balance thing. Maybe try holding it with the opening horizontal. You mentioned balls inside and they may need to drop in as you turn. Once one drops turn it over and turn again till you hear it drop again and keep repeating. Lets see.
So I was wrong,,,,sorta lol. I guess it's more like how a lock works on a safe.
Love your vids
