well done Chris and Wall. Its rare to find great freinds for a lifetime. Enjoyed your posts, loved Walls idea of wait until engine cools down before take lid off.... glad no serious injuries.
Chris there are some circuits the mechanic found on my Adventra that the negative is used in the switching relay in some circuits.? A possibility?? Great trip lots laughs and great posts. stick with it and your channel will grow. All the best mate and by way i fittef the pedders suspension you recomended and very happy with it.

Dodged a bullet on that one, serious consequences can be had from doing what he did hence my warning on the video. Not sure, I dont think he was expecting it to be under that much pressure but he should have known. Sometimes and I know not many would admit, what is right and known isnt always what one does. I become victim to that condition as well. I want everyone to see what we do, with no covers over our mistakes so hopefully people can learn what not to do. Need to work more on PIG to understand what the issue is with this V8 few questionable things going on but we will get it right eventually! All part of the build. Great news on your suspension result. All the best and thanks for commenting.

Ok I am glad you made it back home.. BUT a few things for future reference.
Electrical connections need to be solid and vibration free. Alligator clips are NOT a solid connection. They can vibrate and move which can result in TINY connections and disconnections which can create resistance, Resistance builds up heat and heat = not a good time. (read engine bay fire)
Also, Yes, respecting others is essential for free camping. Whilst I do not call you being ontop of anyone. Lights out by 10 and the same with any sound. Same rules apply for camping as does sleeping in a residential area. So if you were chatting and talking until the wee hours of the morning..(Read as any time after 11:59pm) I too would have been giving you a reminder about how to respectfully camp. Also .. If you are departing from the free campsite at Stupid O'clock in the morning.. You keep your noise to a bare minimum.. and allow others to sleep.
So many people think that once they are outside the city and camping that they can carry on like Drunk asshats.. No.. The same rules apply at a 5 star Hotel as they do for the 1.5 billion star hotel. (Unless of course your the only one at the campsite then hell .. go crazy)

Information I should have provided in the video, we got to this camp spot at around 4pm. It was around 30ish degrees but we had been having a slow afternoon working around the hot engine so it felt more like 35 to us. We had dinner in town at Horsham before driving out to this camp spot, when we got there we tried to get the tune down which didnt work out as you seen and then we spent a short time playing with water to cool off, by maybe 6pm I messed with Wal's car for awhile trying to diagnose a fix, and by around 7.30pm we where finishing up on the car with the tempoary fix and we had all been in tents and tvan by around 9pm. That email came in at 9.20pm and it was quiet as can be, fairly sure I heard other campers to our right laughing and carrying on, but not us as we wanted to get ready to leave by around 6.30a the next morning so we could get home by early afternoon to stay on schedule. Good info on the alligator clamps didnt know that, did the job though, I suppose in the future could wire loop around the terminals, thought the clamps where a bit more sensible at the time since I had some anderson stuff handy to wire in a connection.

You made it home thank god. DO both families live together in the same house? Everything is getting dropped and all work is done there.

Wal shares a home with me, Sara, and our kids. Wal's daughter Raeleigh and (Mum) Cat have their own living arrangements, but they decided to accompany us on this trip to WA. Our family setup is quite distinctive, but interestingly enough, Wal and I have been living together for a considerable period, even predating my relationship with my wife. We've been friends since high school, been involved in a couple of businesses partnerships, and shared numerous life experiences. We're great mates to say the least.

@@ianfrost1419 yeah well we will replace the fan shroud with another off a VY2, then rebleed. I'll install a ScanGauge into Wal's car as well so we can see some figurative temps rather than a gauage that doesnt work other than to tell you, I'm cold, running temp and way past too hot (thanks Holden). Break it down and get a video out, got a few fuel economy comparison videos to doo, and some totally negatives about this whole trip that you dont see on the general video. $10k Adventra and $70k Camper yet still we have challenges travelling as a family of this size. Coming up soon.
