  • Today, I'm discussing my thoughts and feelings on the most typically sought-out surgeries by trans women. Did I always know I wanted bottom surgery? Do I plan on getting facial feminization or breast augmentation?

    Boone, you have such a CUTE face! You touched on aspects of features that some cisgender have - I would venture to add that many gorgeous women I know have "Adam's Apples". I think you look and sound amazing, but it is YOUR body. Do what you feel is right for you. You have lots of time.

      That means SO so much to me. Thank you so much!!! ❤ I am really trying hard to accept and embrace all my facial features, because surgery is a darn pain 😅

    Of course do whatever feels good to you. But I just want to say you look really beautiful, your voice is really beautiful, and honestly from my perspective you are perfect! And of course you will be perfect with any changes because your perfection and everyone's is eternal and internal but I just want to express this regarding how you look 🙂 love your channel! So sooo emotionally intelligent and lovely x

    I would definitely do further surgies aside from bottom surgery. Dysphoria and passing , are definitely scale wise for me. I'll probably never be able to afford them though.

    Could you make a video on the process of getting on testosterone blockers, HRT, and your surgery(s). I want to start my medical transition, but I dont know where to start.

    I went downtown yesterday without make up, or long sleeves to cover my hands, and a sports bra (as opposed to a push up bra), and a t-shirt. ...I had to be somewhere on time, and didn't have time for make up.
    I was able to hide part of my face with a mask, but, since I've grown some amount of breasts, I have lost a small amount of dysphoria. It seems very much a scale wise displacement. More passing, less dysphoria. Less passing, more dysphoria.

    I've listened to this video twice and watched a bit of the visual; it's simply easier for me to focus on what are the prescient points of your presentation. What little I did watch, I noticed that you would focus your eyes on the distance instead of at the camera, thus taking one input out of the equation to focus your mind's "eye". For teachers this is about the only true way they have to determining if children are learning. I have had many operations that are too numerous to mention and, have "elected" to agree to the surgeon's recommendations on each one. except one. I had cancer surgeries about thirty years ago and had considered two options, one more invasive that the other. A surgical team with the more invasive procedure offered their plan going forward and asked me to sign off on it. I told them I needed forty-eight hours to make my decision, which seemed to send them into a tail spin. I responded in the negative two days later and went with the less invasive surgery which has been the right decision FOR ME. Surgical interventions are not to be taken lightly, and you seem to have your wishes and desires well under control. The only comment that I would make is regarding your voice, which I find totally acceptable and in keeping with your feminine demeanor. A good friend of mine, now passed on, had a voice that is much lower than yours and had a certain "nasal" quality that she put to good use when she sang. It was "her", just as your voice is you. Interestingly, she had a double mastectomy, treatment for breast cancer, but decided against reconstructive surgery as she wanted the remaining time to enjoy her friends and family. She lived for about six or seven years, enjoying life to the fullest. I'm certain that you'll make the right decision as you go forward, and I hope you do it with wonder and joy, and for a long time. namaste, Roger

    Totally agree with everything you said. I feel the same way about getting bottom surgery and the same with vocal surgery. I hate my voice so much, I don't care if it leaves me mute, I want vocal surgery. That might sound crazy but... I'm to the point now where i do my best not to talk if I don't have to... Don't get me wrong, I am doing my best to train my voice and can pass over the phone, but if I get excited, or laugh, or yawn, or cough, or sneeze... its like my voice just instantly does a 180 and I don't sound feminine... and I hate it...

      I completely understand what you're saying. When I was 14, I pretty much didn't talk. I couldn't say a word without feeling a horrible level of dysphoria. It took years to get my voice to a point of comfort, and I still struggle with things like yelling or clearing my throat. I promise you though, you CAN change those parts of your voice as well. The CZcamsr TransVoiceLessons has done videos on that sort of thing, and it is AMAZING to see how much you can alter your voice. I think a lot of it is about being conscious of it for long enough that eventually it becomes natural. Definitely check her out. She does amazing tutorials and also private coaching if you can afford it.
      I really feel you on this. Hang in there and best wishes ❤

      @@boonewilliams5338 thanks! I'm definitely not giving up on voice training, and it is amazing how far I've come already, but I still plan to get the vocal surgery eventually 😁❤️❤️❤️

    This goes together with Mika Klopsworth's website, you possibly can make your body get them to develop, much the same as if you were a teen again. You choose how far you wish to go. Probably googl it and have your say.

    I'm a Boomer trans woman who's had numerous facial cosmetic surgeries, including FFS, around 15 years ago. Most of my procedures were successful, have held up well over time, and significantly improved my appearance. There are a few things, however, I'd advise anyone to bear in mind about cosmetic surgery:
    1. Facial implants and bone surgery are excellent long-term investments. I had a brow shave, jaw reduction, nose job, tear trough and cheek implants. All of these surgeries are permanent, long-lasting, and require zero maintenance. No regrets here, and if you need them, these are the things you should have done first, before considering less invasive procedures.
    2. "Lifts", augmentation, and rejuvenation surgeries last around 10-15 years. I had a brow lift, face lift, thread lift, eyelid lift, and facial fat transfer. All these procedures made my face look more like a woman in her 30's. They were worthwhile since I'm decades older, but if you're younger than 30, they could make you look less youthful. All but the brow lift could use some maintenance at this point, but I'm too old to need that done more than once. These procedures all leave internal scar tissue, which accumulates with each revision surgery. For that reason, I'd avoid having them redone more than 1-2 times. That especially applies to breast implants, which typically need to be replaced every 10-20 years.
    3. Revision surgeries are VERY commonly needed to fine-tune your results. For that reason, I'm glad I had my surgeries in multiple stages, starting with the most invasive procedures and refining my goals along the way. The saving grace of a revision surgery is that you can add on additional minor procedures at the same time, with no additional overhead cost. Resist the temptation to get everything you think you need done all at once - it rarely works out that way in practice.

    I think you look very good, like, you look like a cis girl. you don't have manly features in any way. I honestly am worried about how I'll look, mostly because I have a strong jawline, but I think that will be fine in the end, because I have a cousin with a very square shaped jawline as well, and she's still very feminine and super pretty, so I don't think that will make me dysphoric, I was also worried about my chest growth, but to be honest, I find small boobs kinda attractive 🤔 so I don't think I'll mind it as much as I previously thought, but I don't know, it is a process I have yet to go through as see it's results. it would be funny if I got bigger boobs than my sister does tho xD but I doubt that.

    • @boonewilliams5338
      @boonewilliams5338  Před 4 lety +1

      Well, thank you very much!! My perception of my face and the level of dysphoria I feel definitely varies depending on the day. And like you mention there are plenty of beautiful women with square jawline and other features that are traditionally associated with men. I wish you the best of luck with your journey, and I'm sure you'll look great! :)

      @@boonewilliams5338 thank you too!!
      Yeah, I feel like it's not quite dysphoria, when we feel like that, I feel like it has more to do with liking our features and stuff, I think there's a term but I think you get what I mean. when we're on a bad day, we can find flaws in whatever features we have, even if we're not dysphoric. we really need to evaluate it on our good days, if we still feel bad about it in our good days, then I think it means we should change it, but if not, I think it's just a result of us not feeling that well and confident on our looks, you know?

  • @TheCheesedodo
    @TheCheesedodo Před 3 lety

    Honestly you look super feminine and beautiful in every way. You don't appear to have a large adams apple or anything like that. I also think that because you have a small frame (me too), breast implants would actually not be beneficial. Like, you look great. Its up to you obviously, but i think getting more surgeries could be going down a rabbit hole. Like youre objectively feminine and have no tells whatsoever

    I've never been under either. I worry about not being functional afterwards. I think my biggest dear is closing the door to potential partners. Which, being post op, is also the case.
