- Here are some VERY fresh thoughts about how transitioning has affected the ways in which I present myself and how my personality has evolved and grown as I've become more and more comfortable with my appearance, voice, and overall sense of self.
Hope you enjoy! :)

I relate to this so much!! I love playing with this stuff, it’s so fun and interesting to find simple things that completely change my confidence or give me swagger lol
Heck yeah!!! I love experimenting with clothing make-up, etc. It's so interesting how a little thing like that can really affect how you walk, talk, gesture, etc.
I can also relate. I read in a book someone talking about us being socialised as boys earlier in life so when we transition we gravitate to expressing what is a stereotypical view of femininity. I think allot of us do this until we start to learn ourselves and express us. I think the book is "The Transgender Issue" by Shon Faye. This book is incredible
I'm going to have to look into that book!! Yeah. Very well put. That's exactly how I've been feeling about it all
YOU'RE BREATHTAKING
You are helping more than just the young generation stay safe
I am so honored and grateful to be able to do that. Thank you 💛
All the best,

Love to see more video. Life updates and acting all sound interesting x
Boone is back!
I love your honesty so much. I’d totally love an update. Glad to hear you’re becoming more confident and comfortable in your own skin. Take care of yourself
Thank you so much!!! You take care as well :)) 💛
yay a new upload!!
Agree!! ❤️ I've been thinking about this topic quite a lot lately, thank you for articulating it so well!
Thank YOU so much for watching!!! 💛💛
Thank you so much! I can relate to everything you say 😊 much love and I hope your doing well!
Aw thank you so much!!! I wish the same for you :)
Great video Boone, I can really relate to this. Even as a newly out trans women I find that I prefer looking natural over being caked in makeup and I much prefer Converse to Heels! It can be very powerful to make choices that empower you, even if they go against the norm :)
Boone, I am glad you are learning just be yourself. I know it is a hard lesson you will find be happier with yourself. Take care.
Thank you!! :) It's a life-long journey for sure. Take care and wishing you the best!!
Boone ... I hope you don't give up doing CZcams videos ... they're such an interesting look into your somewhat unique life. This was fun. Lots of random info that sort of wove together to present a different angle on your day-to-day existence (i.e. the whole sweatpants vs. "girly" presentation). I suspect that most of your subscribers would be perfectly happy getting updates like this as they occur to you to communicate.
I'm having a very similar experience with what seems like a second wave of self discovery. Just like you, I needed to feel confident as a woman regardless of presentation before I could continue to develop my personhood. However, I think it is also in part due to becoming a new and emerging adult because I'm also 20. I wish you the best
Hey we're twins!!! Hahaha. Life's such a journey, and we're definitely both very early in it. :) I really appreciate you sharing your perspective. Thank you 💛
excellent video, boone!! would love to see you discuss your acting experiences, recent life changes, etc if you feel comfortable doing so :-) thank you for taking us on this journey!!! seeing the growth from your older videos to now is super interesting. keep being your awesome, beautiful, intelligent self!
Aw oh my goodness, this is just about the loveliest and sweetest message ever!!! Thank you so so much. Seems like a decent number of people are interested in a video about my acting experiences, so stay tuned! I'll be thinking about that. Thanks again for your very kind words. Wishing you all the best!!! 💛💛💛💛
So good to see u sis after a long time-u look gorg-luv u hun xx
Aw thank you, kind human!!! ♥️♥️
Inspiring and exciting thank you! Your wonderful! Life update sounds epic
Aw thank you so much!! :)
@@boonewilliams5338 this video has caused me to create a new playlist and realise a really exciting idea I’ve been feeling for a little bit, it’s really exciting that it feels like I had a conversation with you and then got this idea and I’m excited! So thanks for that too! Your intelligence is really really satisfying! The playlist is called the ongoing destination
@@isoldebui4039 wow I'm honored to have been able to help inspire such a creative and really cool sounding idea!!!! I wish you the best of luck with it. Thank you!! :)
@@boonewilliams5338 thank you! 😄
ty for making this
It's my pleasure. Thank you 💛
I'm glad I've found this video very early in my transition. It's hard not to gravitate towards stereotypical feminine norms in an attempt to pass by any means. I'm hoping to avoid this as I find myself.
A podcast would be so cool
It'd be cool for you to make a discord as well, I feel like it'd be a fun community
Great video - thanks for sharing 😁 I totally resonate with what you're saying here - I feel most 'me' when I'm just being authentically me. I suspect I'm kinda gender-fluid, even though I prefer the fem side of the spectrum. True happiness comes from being true to ourselves, and only we know what that is and how that feels from within 😌
Very well said. Thank you so much for your lovely comment :)

Seeing this video in my notifications was quite a rollercoaster: "oh cool Boone's uploaded!" "Wait what Boone's uploaded five times in the past six months and I missed _all_ of that because CZcams didn't notify me? wtf?"
Yeah, I can relate to this. When I first started transitioning - which was pretty recently; about a year ago - I knew I wanted to be more feminine, but I wasn't entirely sure what that actually _meant_ to me. There's certainly plenty of things that society expects of "femininity" that aren't a part of who I am. I don't wear makeup, for instance. But just because I don't align 100% with what society says is feminine, I still *feel* feminine. I think it really is just a matter of being true to yourself above all else, and everyone else's expectations can go hang! (which is sometimes easier said than done, I admit).
And I, for one, would love to see a video about acting. I'm no actor - not even a little - but I'd be very interested to hear what you have to say about it. Actually, I'd quite happily watch any content you put out (that is, assuming CZcams _tells me_ about your videos). Your videos always seem to have some insight that I find helpful or worthwhile, from what I've seen!
Thank you so much for this!!! I really appreciate you sharing your experiences and kind words. :) I want to keep producing content in some format or another, so stay tuned! Thank you very much for your support 💛
I personally think you look great with this look in this video and to me you still look like the femminine woman you are. And if this is your natural voice use it. Everything you allow us to see work great for you. If you do a podcast let us know.
Aw thank you very much!! It can definitely be nice to embrace no-makeup every now and then. I will definitely keep everyone posted on the podcast!!
Sweat pants... I could live in em. Comfy.
Idea suggestions!
Yoga, movie reviews, travels/adventures, living with joy and going for long walks, breathing deep, classical music, God and how He loves all people, God is love.
Same SRS changed me too
but
How do you think you would feel wearing something more daring, for example a swimsuit, a leotard or a negligee? many cis girls like to use them but others don't because they don't feel insecure but in trans girls some never use them they prefer to be more chaste but others use them all the time because they make them feel more feminine
I can't say I've spent much time thinking about wearing a leotard or a negligee, but I LOVE wearing bikinis. I bought one very shortly after I got bottom surgery, because I spent most of my life not feeling like I could wear one. I love to dress up. I love to wear fun and frilly ensembles
@@boonewilliams5338 Will we see you parading with your swimsuits on CZcams or your social networks?
I certainly relate quite a lot. For me I became really self conscious about how good I had become at certain video games, stupidly enough. It's not like I was exceedingly talented in gaming; I was above average, only barely, but it was enough skill in games like Bloodborne or Metroid that when I started running into the agitations in the gaming space that most women run into, of course I was gonna have a mini gender crisis over it. I'm sure you're quite familiar with how little it takes for women to come under a lot of scrutiny in the gaming world, even without being trans. Throw in the tomboy elements and the transmisogyny practically writes itself. But in the past few months I've really tried to embrace that part of myself whole heatedly, cause I like gaming, but I also enjoy specifically being a woman in gaming, and I'll gladly do my part to change broader attitudes in the culture, cause there are way more women in gaming than most folk would believe.
Oh gosh. I almost did a whole video on being a trans woman in the competitive gaming world. Unfortunately misogyny runs rampant there, and I'm so sorry that you've had to deal with that. I definitely relate to feeling uncomfortable about skill at video games. For a little while, I felt a need to dumb myself down in that area in order to feel secure in my womanhood (wow! The internalized misogyny in that is horrible haha) it's a tricky world, but I'm so glad you're working on embracing yourself and your interests 💛
not trying to pass is more difficult for me.
it's interesting though, because a lot of teen mtfs who transition pass well, because they're younger. and it becomes harder for them to pass as they get older. (because we conflate feminity with youth and looks). usually they start going the extra mile. you're letting your hair down.
That's a very interesting perspective! Your absolutely right that we conflate femininity with youth (which I find immensely disturbing). I think I'm very lucky to have been raised by passionate feminists and very progressive people who have made it very clear to me from an early age that my appearance has no bearing on my value as a human being. I truly believe that being surrounded by luck and love and having miraculously been able to survive a lot of stupid decisions while navigating some very dark places has given me the perspective that I only need to be comfortable with myself, and the rest doesn't matter. I absolutely still struggle with societal expectations, insecurity, envy, etc. Etc. Etc. But I have been very fortunate in my upbringing, and I hope we can all fight the vicious stereotypes and patriarchal views of women that are so grossly pervasive in our society.
@@boonewilliams5338 it's so bizarre the way we're incredibly objectified, yet not socially acceptable.
