As an ENTJ, I can say that we're constantly in a mental breakdown, but instead of stopping, crying and doing whatever normal people do when they're having a breakdown, we just keep going, we simply don't stop, and that's quite problematic

Honestly, that hit home. Developed an addiction a couple years ago and fell into depression. When things started getting less busy and work oriented/focused AKA christmas break, I decided to go to therapy, and the second I took the decision to go there was the second I decided to get myself out of that miserable state I was in. Kinda lost myself in this post but it really talked to me so yeah. Basically, yes, we dont stop, we dont cry until we get that small break and realize what's been going on.

In 1968, the MPAA established the Code and Rating Administration, or CARA (later renamed the Classification and Rating Administration), which began issuing ratings for films exhibited and distributed commercially in the United States to help parents determine what films are appropriate for their children.
Since the rating system was first introduced in November 1968, it has gone through several changes, including the addition of a PG-13 rating.[57][58] The ratings system is completely voluntary, and ratings have no legal standing.[59][60] Instead, theater owners enforce the MPAA film ratings after they have been assigned,[61] with many theaters refusing to exhibit non-rated films.[62] An unrated film is often denoted by "NR", such as in newspapers, although this is not a formal MPAA rating.[63]
In 2006, the film This Film Is Not Yet Rated alleged that the MPAA gave preferential treatment to member studios during the process of assigning ratings,[64] as well as criticizing the rating process for its lack of transparency. In response, the MPAA posted its ratings rules, policies, and procedures, as well as its appeals process, online.[65]
According to a 2015 study commissioned by CARA, ninety-three percent of parents in the U.S. find the rating system to be a helpful tool.[66]
The ratings currently used by the MPAA's voluntary system are:[67]

I can't agree more with this opinion. Let's get this straight, I know hundreds of people around me. I have 0 (Zero) friends. Fact that I will never get any friend is so certain because I know it (my fucking Ni). How do I know it? Because of what you said, I have issues with the fundemental of friendship concept and what people attain to it. I can't just fit in it and I think I never will fit in it either.. So now what? Am I banished into loneliness? Well it's not that I crave for someone's presence but when it hits me IT HITS HARD that I really feel the existence of someone but I just don't know do I really need it to fill the emotional gap by again utilizing the relationship (friend or girlfriend) for the sake of my mental health or just for the sake of a bond. Everything is so easy and hard for me at the same time. I go outside doing stuff such as socializing or drinking from month to month other than that I've been focused on my job for the last 9 months because every single minor step of my job requires time for it and everything is chained to each other so I can't finish working when I get to home and when I can't finish I can't feel relaxed or accomplished. Makes sense why the only time I'd meet some of my friends was if we were going hiking, rock climbing, or any other activity. I even used covid as an excuse to not meet people for over a year, because it would be a waste of time. If I am texting them, I can still do what I was planning on doing, and be productive, but if I meet them in a cafe or similar, I have to waste time to go there, waste time to return home, and focus all my attention on them, which to me seems utterly pointless.

If we need to get something done, we have to keep in mind that people have feelings and do our best to understand them for these feelings to not be a problem in the future, disturbing people's management. Those who can't feel empathy are just emotionally immature, in my opinion. However, people might not always realize that we did care about their feelings when we made certain decisions and that's because we're trying to be fair and effective, not nice.

It's always hard to be ENTJ, because when you take the lead in an emergency situation and do what really helps you solve the problem, people accuse you of pushing them or not thinking about their feelings. But you were simply efficient and it worked not only for you, but for everyone who was in the team with you. Totally get this. I'll always be like "oh I thought we're done with this part" whenever people seemed to take forever just to get to the point about what their aims were, or tried to explain themselves (usually ++ doses of manipulative twists to it to get me into doing what they want). I always have to remind myself to be patient and just let them have at it (except if they're taking too much of my time and being inefficient about it), because you know, it's a relationship and that's a safe way to ensure I'm not being unfair/wrong in my assessments about a person; but it does gets tiring very quickly whenever people get into the same kind of narratives (that they're special unique beings, and no I don't get them. The most exasperating are the ones obvious in their wishes to be seen as holier than others, bc the insincerity stank!)
I really honestly thought we are all so obvious, being you know, human being. We are calculable, using the right approaches and methods.

In this comment section I have started to wonder, have I failed as ENTJ bc I have manually learned to respect humans and count their feeling when they don’t block my plan.
I just set goals for people I care and then act so that I help them to reach those goals. If I respect one I of course won’t decide what they want but I decide they must become something and I won’t act way that prevents their success. This has lot to do with the fact that I am in school where people are still developing and in very weak state. Bc I don’t have given authority (and my school system often tries to hold me back) I must sometimes even adapt. Basically the point was, give people around you goals and then don’t intervene.

I knew I would sound annoying but his mood would pick up in a few days after gym and a proper meal.he would tell him his plans and I would tell him what I think and he would sometimes consider my input... He appreciated me, I know this because he was protective over me and my emotions... listened to me talk about my emotions even though he didn't enjoy it, he thought it was a waste of time, but he would LISTEN.

Didn't seem onerous at the time, but I doubt I could do it all now. I have to admit that others' issues and concerns were never a priority - cost me a few friends - so what. Some people think I am aggressive, and in a way. I am, but I am just trying to get things done, if I do not push, then there is no pull. Even in my friend group, if I do not plan something, nothing may happen. I am friends with a lot of passive people. which is fine because to be honest, I like leading. Funny being an ENTJ it's a difficult personality type especially being a woman, I feel like if I met another one its like great but I wouldn't like wanna hang our or date one. Your basically proud to be one b/c you have goals and ambitions but you hate being one b/c you realize how much of a nuisance you are too everyone else when you feel like your right when EVERYONE is telling you you're wrong. Very hard I'd like to think I'm nicer than most ENTJs considering my sister is an INFJ.

This is a great video, and I really connect with this. Explains almost perfectly the mechanics of an ENTJ, and the quote at the beginning of the video was a great introduction for this personality type. Also debating internally whether I should send this to my ESTJ/ESFJ parent... it's rough (jk but still). #ENTJ

i don’t lack the “why” just can’t afford the time to explain it 4 free on other people’s timetable without jeopardizing myself. it’s honestly so weird how ppl take this personally as if you’re supposed to throw your whole life away 4 them. when the only reason they want anything to do with you is bc you have a life in the first place. happened to me yesterday when i was walking around the block & some rich guy pulled over & started demanding to take me out the same night. like u pay up front for the opportunity to convince me or to learn more. you’re the one that wants a relationship right now, i’m busy & can barely handle it. there’s simply not enough of my time to go around 4 everything i have to do. he got one warning before he got blocked 4 being too domineering.
or 4 instance when a company wants to hire u but won’t let you fix what’s wrong with them. like if u know how to make it work, why hasn’t it worked with anyone else ? because you’re absolutely clueless, that’s why u need me, so we’ll do it my way. how i see it at least.

I am an ENTJ who is constantly driven to achieve my goals, but I always struggle with my social anxiety and is hard for me to speak with people even if I enjoy big projects, parties and being around powerful people.
I love being the spotlight and I will do anything to win it no matter what, I also get that low by putting obstacles around people so they don't gain any recognition.
Sometimes, I am lazy too because of my INTP shadow..

But after watching more videos(yours were a great help) and reading more about functions and personality types, I can say that I am an atypical ENTJ

I've been told I was being over bearing ... when really, i just cared . My friend was making bad choices in choosing a car by letting her emotions get in the way of making a rational decision and I saw it. All I suggested was looking. Perhaps give her time to think about it by the end of our shifts. She said that to me and it pissed me off. So shes in her feels about not knowing what to do and basically projecting . And I was genuinely just trying to give her time but now I'm frustrated so I probably do look like an asshole. When I am not!!! I see people bad mouth entjs. First of all i dont even know if I've ever personally met another entj . But being quite self aware of myself , i know for a fact people have the wrong idea. Did you know entjs "walk around thinking they're bad people" subconsciously? Because we have been misunderstood our whole lives. Because we dont understand feelings "like that" it's not like we wallow in self pity. We actually go above and beyond to help others on a level much higher than people would imagine . So I guess we tend to look like "assholes" ? Because others dont understand? Idk about other entjs but I can assure you I'm highly aware that WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! and I am very passionate and driven in doing everything in the most efficient and logical way possible. If you have a way that is more logical to doing something. I'm all ears! I'm definitely in no way shape or form above constructive criticism. So how does that make me egotistical? It doesn't. But I've noticed others own insecurities flare and project my way. And I know I'm innocent. Oh well. Sorry for the rant. Lol. God speed

@@PhotoRubio oh. Dont feel bad. Lol. I can almost see how we can be taken the wrong way. I do get it. I have a friend whom I think is an ENTJ. He is indeed very ambitious about his career. But interestingly, I think that his extroverted energy is mostly used on his personal social relationships, as he doesn't seem to like professional leadership positions very much. He tends to solve problems mainly using Ni. I think that the kind of power that he seeks are mostly intellectual flex and wealth (in order to buy nice things). That's why sometimes I'm not sure if he's really a Te dominant. But he's also pretty obsessive, and sometimes go to extremes to control his behavior to achieve personal goals, like in an almost OCD kind of way. And I totally agree with the Se and Fi part. He really cares about his personal style and presentation. And I think he tends to ignore moral questions in order to focus on "winning" in life.
