Watched your video. My tail pipe broke off into the muffler. I had to cut the U-bolt on the other side. Then had to keep cutting around where it was crimped, til the muffler finally let go. Cut off all the old rubber hangers and replaced them with new ones. Went through 2 cut-off wheels. Installing the new muffler and pipe took less than an hour. Getting the old one off took 4. My knees are killing me, cut up my arms, but DIY was the way to go..........2000 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9
I agree, before I made videos I replaced mine, one failed. Was driving and heard a Big Bang, thought someone hit me with a shotgun slug. Fortunately if the truck bed is in good shape you can still drive it to get home.
Yeah. They are called Shackles. Also Bed Shackles or Leaf Spring Shackles. Both mine blew... Heard the 2nd one go... felt i like a ran over a nasty pothole or a rock. Fixing it on a rusty old truck is one of the worst jobs I ever had to do.
Actually just check out Napa auto parts and put in your vehicle info.. then look up what you need.. many good sites, so if Napa doesn’t work check out other part dealer sites.. that’s the easiest..
Why would you worry about the neighbours it's your vehicle you're just starting it up and leaving your truck sound really nice it just like mine does now it sounds like a regular truck I would have stuck with it if you have neighbours like that I wouldn't want to live besides someone like that
allen martell I have great neighbours, and I plan to keep it that way. Mutual respect, I only worry what I can do to make things better for them, which in turn, makes things better for me.

Where do you find the specs to determine the size of exhaust pipe on your vehicle?
