Scotty.. Please check out the 2020 JEEP OFF SET CRASHES!! OMG! The JEEP is DANGEROUS!!
Thanks Scotty, your wisdom and knowledge is always appreciated. Hope Ford gives you a new truck for free.
Thanks ! I ordered scan tool w/unlimited updates, code reader, etc., so I can record this 😡 03 Ram 1500 I have ...that dies while accelerating above 50mph (like trying to pass someone or go up a steep road/bridge). I like that it’ll record up until truck gets what I call “narcolepsy”. I appreciate your videos & your character is a bonus.
Would you be very mad if I got an 08 Mitsubishi Eclipse ?

Helloa Scott ,greetings from Tanzania my name is Harry ,I have been watching your videos from both channels though other channel is new one(Autonomous)..I have my Corolla 2003 runs very fine ..I had knocking sound infront especially on rough and bumpy road ..I went to see one mechanic recommended to change ,ball joints, stabiliser links,,shock absorbers, turn rod end, rubber bush I did change all of them but the problem still persist, What could possibly be wrong?..I will appreciate if you have time to reply this..thanks..
@@TumbleWeed411 Hahaa I hope maybe his old camera gears so I can start my CZcams channel as well.
Don’t use a muffler if you hate your neighbors. Taking mine off in the morning.
I have a 2020 civic with the K20, but if I take the muffler off, I am worried if it may seem too ricey.
Lmao. Who cares just take it off. Eat rice at the same time? 😎
I have a diesel with a 4in straight pipe and a 5 in tip I have yet to install, part of its for that reason. 😉
@@asdfghjqwertyu1858 Man, just take the muffler off and when the engine blows from burning too much oil, cook your tasty rice on your brand new LawnMower :)
Honda La Puissance Des Rêves don’t take the muffler off, spend a couple hundred bucks on a decent catback exhaust. Mine has the Borla Catback Exhaust (S-Type) and it doesn’t sound ricey at all
Id like to imagine that Scotty was still waving his hands around when this was made.
@Shawana Washington 😅👍
I don't think Scotty can talk without moving his hands.
Haven't you checked out his new channel?
Na hes doing like a symphony composer when hes doing this laid back voice
I like these automotive history lessons Scotty! I’ve learned so much about the automotive world so far.
Thanks, Scotty for producing this video and airing on CZcams. Your videos are educational, witty, and fun to watch and learn about the mechanics of how these vehicles are put together. And I laugh when you can a automobile a spade. (meaning junk automatic transmission in it.)
I was waiting for for the part where you tell me why I shouldn’t use a muffler on my vehicle 🍤
Same...
I used to have a 1996 Ford Bronco. I took it offroading at an offroad park in MO and ripped the muffler off. It never sounded better! It even ran better! I was always asked “what exhaust kit are you running?” I said “None, literally!”
This was quite the production scotty!
But not quiet without a muffler.
This video is from his other channel.
Same video double the views.
No it wasn't
Thanks for keeping me busy and entertained during lockdown Scotty! Stay safe.
This is likely my favorite video from you! Thanks for taking the time to make it!
i got a 78 ford granada. 5.0 liter v8. no cats. no muffler. side pipes. love it. love the smell the sound the everything.
Wow Scotty, this is a different kind of video from you. Very informative as always, but with some history we all need. I personally love your videos and I learn something every time. This how ever brings it to a whole new level. Thanks for what you do. Your a good man for helping us who don't know better. The world needs more of you. God bless you and all
Scotty thank you so much for taking the time to do this! It is very interesting. You have so much knowledge! I am a big fan! I look forward to all your videos, because you are so honest and that is why in 2016 I bought my 2014 Toyota Sienna. I love my car! I am from Waco and I will be emailing you soon to set up a time to drain and fill my transmission, and change brake pads to Akebono and change my drive belt. I have Cerebral Palsy so I can not do this myself. I still love to learn about it, so thanks again for all you do!!
Remember when regular gas exhaust fumes smelled good?
Before 1974 🇺🇸
Actually I do.
@Gear Whine
Pure gasoline, it actually doesn't smell terrible when burned.
What we have today has lots of bad things in it.
With led in them? And smokey as hell?
I love the smell of my 80 year old car!
Remember when lead was in fuel?
I think this was your best video yet. I really enjoyed the whole premise and learned a couple things! I hope you make more similar to this.
You really bring the past into light. Thank you Scotty! 😎🖖
I really enjoy learning how repair my car & learning about automotive history. Thank you!
Scotty, you are brilliant for coming up with a second channel. Very informative and educational in a different way from you original channel. Keep it revving those engines!

Wow Scotty this is your best video yet. I am a fan of your channel for life.
A great explanation of how a car's exhaust system is developed 👍🇲🇾
This is so good, you should do more videos like this. I feel like I could learn anything from you lol
That was an awesome history explained simply. Thank you for sharing with us👍👍
Nice to hear some of the background behind ideas. It is a crying shame that when many good ideas were thought of, the market was not ready for them and were forgotten.
Love this new stuff....keep them coming Scotty
SCOTTY I LOVE THIS VIDEO STYLE.
ITS REALLY NICE.
No it's not
Awesome history lesson. Sure enjoy all of your videos. Keep up the great work!!
I am not a mechanic, but have always loved cars. I have never watched one of Scottys videos that wasn't really enjoyable and informative. He should syndicate on radio and tv, not just to get rich(er), but, for the good of his state and his country (ours). Thanks to everyone involved.
Scotty Kilmer + History Guy = Great CZcams, (both great channels) keep it up, good stuff !!

Very informative and high quality video, Scotty.
Hey scotty love from Brampton Canada. Loves your content. ✌️💯
From Guelph, in Thunder Bay atm. Off to New Brunswick soon.

THAT was actually quite good. Kinda like The History Guy for cars. Well done.
This was actually great, and really informative.

Good Evening & Thank You My Good Friend Scotty Kilmer Sir

I love listening to Scotty, he's very knowledgeable. I watch his videos all day every day.
Hi Scotty! I love the new video format!

I wish Scotty would have been my school teacher through out all my years, until graduation 🧐
This was informative, thanks scotty
Keep up the automotive history lessons. Thank you for giving an opportunity to homeschooljng parents to teach practical, relevant and enjoyable information.
Great job you've done with this program,
I love your education approach.... Many people would never know why or what something does if it was not for you! Thank you Scotty!
Well put together history of automotive exhaust systems.
Love it!! Very well done Great Info, Thank You
Really really like these, great work Scotty. 👍👍👍
First time I hear you talking so calmly lol, or do you have a muffler fitted to your mouth too 😂
Get a life
J&R Service Center Gardner obviously you need to because you can’t take a damn joke
This was really well executed and informative.
Thanks for another great educational video! Best CZcams channel!
These are awesome Scotty! You keep it real
I love this informative style video with history!
Definitely like new videos I’m always learning a ton thanks Scotty!!!
I really enjoyed this video, would love to see more like it 👍.
Well put togther and narrated. You should do more, History of Toyota part 2?
Okay I have liked scottys vid after a long time cus many have bcome repetitive and folks keep asking same questions.. this is informative
With Scotty’s narration & professional video presentation I feel like I’m at the Smithsonian...well it can now be called the Scottysonian🇺🇸
It's always interesting to hear who owns who. We had Reeves drives on our punch presses to control the speed of the press. Now with the electronic inverters you don't see them around. Reeves, Reliance and now Baldor. Just like Hoover vacuum, then Chicago Pacific bought Hoover, then Maytag bought Hoover, then Whirlpool bought Maytag and Hoover, and now TTI owns Hoovers and Whirlpool owns Maytag.
I have a feeling that Scotty witnessed every evolution mentioned on the video 😂😂😂
Great new show, Scotty!!!
F 1 V10. I love that sound.
Very nice video Scotty , not the usual but awesome 👍🏽
This one sounds like a bed time story. I. Going to bed now to dream about my muffler!
Great video Scotty. I enjoyed your narration
Thx so much Scotty, can you do more videos like this.
Scotty please don't change your style. I love how you do your video.
The frequency spectrum cancellation is concept that works perfectly inside a DAW or a mixing console, but in a real environnement it doesn't do anything. It's really just the materials inside that are good sound absorbers and also the fact you don't have a direct straight pipe.
Cool to see another audio-knowledgeable person talking about this too.
Taking my muffler off! Thank you Scotty! I have an appointment at Luna's mufflers to take them both off my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee!
Death☠️☠️☠️ awaits! At least thats the point in the video
Great video Scotty I know this must have taken a lot of work.
Glass packs with flex pipe go to for years.
Used some stock muffler on short pipe behind headers
I like your new style of the way you speak in the video, less scream and it's sounds cool like this way.
Scotty, Don't do this to us and yourself please. I watched this same video on your Autoauts channel and I really enjoyed it but it's not the type of video that I want to watch again so soon. I've been a big fan of your original channel for 2+ years now. I'm subscribed and watch all your videos all the way through and have given every single one a thumbs up. I've seen all the videos that you have posted so far on Autoauts and enjoyed them and gave them all a thumbs up. This is the first video of yours that I' ever given a thumbs down. I'm subscribed to both channels but if you're gonna rerun the Autoauts videos on your original channel like this then there's no need for me to subscribe to Autoauts channel any longer. Keep making your great, famous original videos. You have the best car mechanic channel on CZcams.
What a pleasant surprise! Excelent video !!!! Congrats.
I expected this video to be on Autonomous channel ..great narrations..
Want to see more videos like this. This is new to the channel and boi i like it
Scotty you’re starting to sound like a scientist 😂✌🏼
Love this historical stuff how 'other folks' were pioneers in the advancement of the automobile.
One time I bolted some long tube headers on a SBC and ran them with short straight pipes and glass pack mufflers. The Chevrolet was a '66 so it never had a cat other than the cats that left paw prints all over it. Those were the days when I could improvise an exhaust system in an afternoon on the cheap.
Great history lesson Scotty!!🤔👍💖💖
Scotty, great video and explanations of how it all works and why people like to steal cats for scrapping!🤔😉
Very interesting topic😍 cool idea..lesson learn..finding solution is the way to greatness👍
I didn't know gold was used in catalytic converters until now !
Thanks Scotty !!
