“Which Flowmaster muffler is right for my car?" My super 40 is the best exhaust iv heard for silverados. Me and all the people i ask say they love how it sounds. Sounds great but yet not too loud. I set it up super ghetto a few years back and it came off in the middle of the road, a car hit it and put a big ass dent in it but aye still works lmao. I got it welded up now dont worry😂

Growing up in the 60's I know just what a true muscle cars sounded like, you can't mistake it. Owned Super Bees, Chargers,T/A's,Mustangs so I owned many hot rods in my days so I know it very well..
Ran the 40 for years sounds really good but I knew it was always missing something soundwise and ran glasspacks on most hotrods but damn, they drone bad.
A few years ago I bought the Super 44 so it wouldn't be too loud for our family V8 4Runner and I'll be damned I discovered what was missing in the 40. That deeper based growl that a V8 has was back.
No question in my mind the super 44 sounds much better than a 40 and he says it even performs better too so ya' Super 44 from here on out and i wish I knew it sooner.
Damn that 4Runner sounded so sweet even with stock cats. Resonator delete if a little drone is cool with you, it's there but it was nothing like a glasspack does and I heard tire noise over the drone. Understand, the 4Runner put out almost twice of that sweet rumbling sound without the resonator fwiw.. To me the Super 44 sound is simply outstanding So I'm ordering another one for my new Tundra now, I'm just checking to see if anything changed in the lineup and it hasn't. Try a 44 guys, you'll love it on any V8.

I have a 1997 Honda del Sol with a SOHC 1.6 liter engine and installed the Flowmaster Super 10 muffler 2.5" inlet and outlet. Since putting it on with a 2.25" cat back exhaust, I have gained a bit of top end power and more low end torque. The sound of the muffler makes my del Sol a very unique sounding Honda. It is a great product, Flowmaster. I am very satisfied with the muffler.
I have 3" straight pipe dumped in front of the rear axle with the outlaw. Beautiful sound for my 2013 Silverado
Had the BB 50 dual inlet/single outlet on my 454 Suburban, 2.5" inlets off the headers and 3" single tailpipe. Sounded real nice and made a huge power difference over the stock dual's.
Yeah it really does you can actually feel the difference when you come off a line at first i thought it was going to be a dissapointment, but i was wrong big time and it wasn't that expensive you can get this set up, at least i did for less than $450.
super 40 all the way to the left are my favorites. I love the loud aspect of it and I also like the aggressive side too. Wanting to get a 40 series soon
I have the 40 series dual exhaust with magnaflow 3 inch pipes on my 2004 Chevrolet Extreme S10. Sounds awesome and makes good power gains.

I put a 40 serious on my 99 Durango an it sounds great.the vibration from the muffler helps my kids go to sleep.thank you flowmaster

I have been running the super 10 on my 77 f150 since 2003. Lots of flow and sound

I chose the 40 series for my Nissan Titan. Yep Its loud, but not bad inside.
I've always loved the 40's but I just got them 44's for my cutlass and I'm in love

Just got a Super 44 for my V6 1990 Toyota PickUp. Sounds low but soft yet not so refined. It's nice. I ended up swapping out my old Flowmaster muffler cause I put in a new set of headers. For some reason the older Flow sounded louder. I wonder if their is a specific reason for this.
lol I bought the outlaw kit before watching this, saw this and was worried I made the wrong choice before installing them, like I should've gone with a super 40 or 44, but nope the outlaws sound amazing and loud and proper imo

I have 40s on my 84 cutlass supreme brougham with a 350 Chevy swap and true dual no cat exhaust. I also have super 40s on my 72 cheyenne super 454 big block. I love the sound, I’ll be putting flowmasters on my 2011 2500hd 6.0 soon

I'm looking for some help... I'm wanting a muffler for my 2016 Dodge Challenger. It's got a 5.7 liter V8 but the muffler makes it sound like a standard V6 at best. I want a new muffler that really brings out that classic rumble I've been looking for, but nothing that will wake the neighbors if you know what I mean. Any suggestions?
2015 gmc sierra 5.3 started with 50 way to quiet went with super 40 with resonator cut off perfect rumble
Hell yeah i got the 2 chamber 40 series on my 2002 tahoe 5.3 cut at the muffler so no pipe sticking out sounds amazing . fixing to do true duels only flowmaster .magnaflow is my next choice but flowmaster has my heart😀👍

have the super 10 on my 2017 f250 6.2l. 3in/2.5out duals with resonator still on. sounds pretty good, minimal drone.

2012 accord i4 Super 10 with no resonator sounds like a v6 . And it's a decent sound .

super 40 series wit 3" twin tips on my armada offroad. It's just right. its the most diverse out of em all in my opinion. nice deep rumble but not over doing it either. this is the one that shouts when you punch it..

ilike the 70 series delta flow and 50 series delta flow and the new hushpower HP2's are my favorites quiet and growly
I have a custom SS Monte with the 3800, but I had the upgraded SLP package put on it (it has a bigger cam and SLP cat back) it makes it has same HP as the supercharger, you wouldn’t know it with how quiet the car is. What model would you suggest just to make it a litt’l “growlier”? Also I have a original stock 87 SS ElCamino 5.0 that I would like to sound a bit stronger(it has the stock 1 out pipe). Thank you

The super 44 sound kinda loud to be not that noticeable I seen CZcams videos they where really nice sounding
Any thoughts on retaining as much turbo whistle as possible while dampening everything else on a diesel? I like hearing the turbo with a straigth pipe but wouldn't mind a bit less rasp and such. 400HP 7.3L

I just bought a 2018 Ford F-150 with the 3.3 V6 what muffler would y’all recommend on this truck i was thinking super 40s. Advice?
If you're looking for a muffler with an aggressive exhaust note the Super 40 should provide just that. I have included a link below to our American Thunder Cat-back, part #817725. The American Thunder Cat-back System includes the Super 40 muffler so this clip should give you a good idea of the sound to expect.
The FlowFx is also a great option, only slightly tamer than the Super 40 Series in its exhaust note. Due to the design the FlowFX option will have less interior resonance (drone) over the Super 40. Great presentation. But, you never mentioned my personal favorite the American Thunder Catback Exhaust system.
What do you recommend for a 2011 dodge durango rt 5.7? I'm interested in the Outlaw or the super 10 as I'm trying to get the loudest sound possible. Would do you recommend to minimize drone?

What would you recommend on a ‘04 Subaru Impreza TS? I’m unsure the inlet/outlet size, as I’ve seen different sizes on different forms.
