- In this video I breakdown the awesome process of importing a model into 3D -Coat via the paint UV Map function, and work between photoshop and 3D-Coat to paint into the model!
A great feature and brilliant for those who prefer to paint in photoshop instead of painting in a 3D modelling package.

Your tutorials are excellent sir! Not too long not too short. Keep up the good work
learn a lot in this video, thank you !
I like how fast you did the UV, didn't know you could make UV shells like that in maya
thanks for you hardwork for this tutorial sharing. Love it.
Thank you for your kindness :)

but i dont see normal/height channels

Hi, why you didn't use Painting Room in 3DCoat?
Pretty strange workflow since 3d coat is the top dog for painting, nothing to compare to photoshop sluggish 3d painting.
It’s a feature within 3DCoat. Use what ever workflow works best for you :)
not trying to bash you here, but the video title is "3DCoat | Photoshop Texturing"
But you spent 14 mins teaching basic modelling in Maya.
:? ?
This was a lesson for a student who wanted to know the basics. For anyone getting started, it’s best to go from the beginning rather than skipping ahead to something that’s already modelled :)
If this is a 3DCoat to Photoshop workflow why not model and uv map the object in 3DCoap? Sorry but your title is misleading...
You may also model it in 3D-Coat, the same results apply :)
the title is not misleading, you just read it wrong.
