Brilliant video, I just purchased a 2022 Sur Ron X Light Bee after riding my nephew's..... I said to him, They are a blast & So much fun, I gotta get one. That was three days ago. I get mine Saturday the 24th :)
I just got mine and absolutely love it! I did the gates belt upgrade. I can ride it through the neighborhood, stealth quiet. I'm too scared to cut the green wire right now. It's fast as all get out without it. I can't imagine what the torque is like with the green wire cut. (voice to text typos corrected 02-16-2022)
Congratulations man! I personally really wanted to do the belt upgrade but since I bought this preowned, I opted out obviously lol. Definitely it’s kind of intimidating but once you cut it it’s going to make it a completely different experience and the bike is may be performing at 50% without the wire cut. I encourage you to do it you’ll have a lot of fun

@@Adri-dj9ve Yup. It wasn't a crazy amount different, in the low end. It is still just as torquey. It just went from 30 mph to approximately 45 mph. It opened up the top end.
Hey just for your own knowledge so you can ride safe, you should absolutely be using you front brake. Now you should never abruptly grab either front or rear bc you’ll lose traction, but if you’re only braking with the rear, you essentially have no brakes. As you slow down, weight transfers to the front of the bike and therefore the wheel, so you actually get more grip the harder you brake. You will not endo over the bars when you have so much weight down low in the form of the battery. Even on a regular bicycle, you should be using the front brake for the same weight transfer reason. This is a huge misconception that they teach you about in motorcycle school, and it applies to any 2 wheeled vehicle. Although yes, a plain bike it is easier to endo over the bars, but that just means you need to learn to brake properly and not be scared to use the front brakes, because again the front brakes have all the stopping power esp in emergency situations where you need to stop on a dime
Is it raceable? Can you perform pretty rad moves on it? Also is the what I like to call the “forward facing illuminating flare” aka headlight have an adjustment option?

Great video, I really want to buy one, but I’m a little concerned about the legalities. Have you had gotten into any trouble riding on the streets at all? I’m assuming most people aren’t registering it, if that’s even an option
Completely depends on what city/state you live in. FOR CALIFORNIA RIDERS: in LA/OC if you get the pedal kit and keep it under 30mph it is legally a class 3 e-bike and now can have the befits of both on/off road, bike paths, etc. (depending on the trail/path keep an eye out for signs specifically about motorized vehicles, most times class 2 is the only acceptable ebike which means keep it below 20 mph). Everyone has a different opinion and stance, as well as everyone’s location carries different weight. So no one is wrong truly, but I understand the fear of “the more we put our bikes on government paper, the more the government will push towards making it a standard.” Let’s just keep it civil and love one another on/off road.❤️ however I definitely am IN FAVOR of keeping things in the gray area here in California. To each his own though. All good👌
I live in a town of 1,000 and cops dont mind. They follow me until the next stop sign just to see what i am then turn away. I also ride at night most often. As long as your not driving recklessly you should be good. And look at your local laws. I called the sherifs dept. and they told me they wouldn’t waste their time stopping me.

@@andrewcolpo7593 i didnt use the stock battery much, but i do remember getting a max range of 20miles. I also tended to drive 45mph. I can drive 45mph on the 72v and get 30 miles easily. I havent done a warm weather test but when it was cold i could get 40 miles with an average speed of 20mph.
@@andrewcolpo7593 the stock battery is 60v, so im sure you could just pick up a used one cheap. Mine sits in the closet since it cant be used with the BAC8000. I will tell you without a shred of doubt that it all comes down to how you use it. If you ride agressivly, your battery will reflect, your consistent and ride at 20 you can push some good range
Hey there! Thanks for watching, range is roughly around 30-40miles dependent on rider weight, sport or eco mode, hill grade, tire pressure, and wind conditions. Personally I have been seeing around 30 miles from 100% to 25% battery. That’s with spirited riding too! They do have other batteries available which almost double the range. Hopefully that helps. I rode mine at 100% charged for about 2 hours (stops in between), and still had 30% battery left. Went to the Walgreens to rent a red box, went to the post office to drop a package off. Rode all around the neighborhood. This thing is so much fun. I bought it for the trails..but now seeing that it may be used more for local neighborhood riding. Did not expect that.
Pointed out by another viewer. I took notice to the issue and installed a replacement bolt with extra locktite! Could have saved my life with that catch. Thanks for that attention to detail guys! Hope you enjoyed the video and let me know what you’d like to see next.

Depends where you live and local laws governing eBikes (can be state or city) which are often gray. the 2022 is factory limited to just 16Mph (used to be 20Mph - not sure why they changed it) but everyone cuts the green/black wire to shutdown the speed governor which I would think makes it illegal per any ebike law. Also this ebike is going to have a problem with laws that specify max power output of motor as this ebike has 3000W (6000 peak) motor output that is going to push it out of ebike category. If its a big concern check with your local PD or DMV.
It’s a 60vdc battery with the newest ones being roughly 37-38 amps depending on shipment. You will need to charge it to 100% as well and not 90%, as the last 10% is when the cell balancing takes place as so you don’t have one battery showing more then other others as that is NOT GOOD for Lithium type batteries. Please people read the instructions and research and learn how newer batteries work and why they need to be charged to 100% and not 90. Now the 30% is a bit better, but I wouldn’t push any of my lipos below their intended cell/battery cutoff voltage which is bad for most any battery. As I said, please people before you jump onto any bike or car or skateboard and so on, please do yourself and many others and read the manual before you do anything!!! As for battery care and such, I wouldn’t listen to thus person too much as I know for a fact that his battery will end up having issues in the long run due to not being charged correctly. Let the charger do it’s thing even if it shows 100% charged, if the charger is still on and working, leave it alone as I said it’s probably performing cell maintenance and balancing. JMHO!!

How much Indian price
The stock Sur Ron X uses a 60 Volt 32AH battery pack not 48 volt. However, I believe the lower end Segway X160 uses a 48 volt battery.

Repent of your sins or suffer the consequences. Lord Jesus died in our places personally to take the death punishment that sin deserves and then resurrected by the power of God. Believe this and sincerely repent of your sins each time you sin and you will have eternal life and nothing to fear. Fail to repent and you will end up in the Lake of Fire.
