Games are taking longer each year to make and more expensive. I DOUBT they're going to make a new handheld. Nintendo has that in the bag. I love the portal. friends and family including myself have good wifi. No lag over here. Goodluck getting your dream ps handheld 😂🤷🏻♂️

Fire review ! It’s really cool looking I just think with PlayStation remote play on a laptop or even there’s a few options to play it on the rog ally I’d just say if anyone’s had an ally or a laptop to look into remote play options and you may get more graphical fidelity and save some money. I am wondering how long it will be till people can jailbreak this device and find out what else it can do though.
My dawg, you know in today’s time that won’t be long before someone figures it out. And to be honest it’s already talk of releasing one with a chip where you can play it without being on WiFi and using it’s on system to download games bro 😎. But I still am in love with this system almost two weeks in

Oh wow I used it once from my house on someone else WiFi and mines worked fine. But one time doesn’t mean it’s a 💯percent fail proof. Thanks for the heads up on that. I will be trying it out at more locations
If you have an android phone, streaming on the phone is a MILLION times faster, and funny enough, it can also stream your computer, and xbox games! (You dont even need an xbox if you have gamepass)
The portal uses an old version of wifi, which means even the steam deck can stream to the ps5 waaaay faster than the portal, I get the phone, my samsung is like 2k$, so I understand it's powerful, but tye steam deck is half the price of the portal.
The funny thing is, my ps5 ran way better on my steam deck in general, way more than my portal despite having a 600mb internet, it caused me to just refund my portal since the screen of the steam deck was already better in the first place, considering it's also using OLED, and it was way cheaper.
The steam deck is a great piece of equipment that’s why I have 2. I play my game pass on my PC. I have a iPhone hooked up to a backbone but with all of that I still prefer to play my ps5 with the portal. I love it and I don’t have any complaints. I have fiber internet 🛜 so no lag from me

Quick question, the remote quality on the PSPortal vs any Smartphone is different or it's pretty much the same?
It’s the same as remote on a smart phone. Both of mines came from scalpers but go on your local fb marketplace and you can get one cheaper than eBay. Although my first portal came from eBay from my girl as a Christmas gift though. I bought my second one myself
From what I heard remote play is more stable on this then smartphones app I don’t know what your talking about..

my ROG ally does the same thing but has an internet browser. This device is WIFI dependent, so WIFI 6E is a must as well as a wired connection on the console. Nobody mentions that though.

Lol we connect our phones and our laptops to the wifi but we can still use them offline. u cant do anything if your playstation portal is offline thats the point

i have two portals in my household and i dont have this issue, me and bro hook up to our own consoles, and we are gamesharing. im not sure why this is an issue for you
I got serval ps5 and I’m guessing since they are all mines I can’t do it. Idk 🤷🏿♂️ but my daughter account was tried along side my nephew account. It keep going back to the portal that connected last never both
@@silverbackgaming2537 did you try activating one of their accounts as the primary account? (Settings, users & accounts, other, console sharing and offline play, enable)
@@silverbackgaming2537 also you have to sign out from your account on the portal(swipe left I think settings then sign out) then log in from the ps app from their account

If you have two ps5s it can be done. Obviously it can’t be done with one ps5 using two portals cause the ps5 still runs all the games and it can’t play two games at the same time
I have several ps5 and one was hooked up in the bedroom and one was hooked up to the one in the video and we couldn’t get it working.
