All we want is:
- ground physics
- Better animals and actual numbers of them shown - BIG size pastures (would be nice to milk the cows, pick up eggs, shave sheeps etc. or hire NPC's who actually does that)
- 2024 Graphics
- BETTER AI workers (make courseplay build INGAME)
- NPC's that you can hire for a longer period of time, they skill up etc. (for farm and your production facilities), pay them, train them.
- a good careere mode - where you start from 0, milk ur 2 cows, hoe your small garden and step by step you getting it grow big ❣
what we'll get:
- fog
- rice
- nothing but wait for modders to do giants work

How do you know? It's a cinematic trailer that looks nothing like the game and didn't even show what you're talking about. Quit acting like you know what they're gonna add. Imma remember this comment and start laughing when I finally launch the game to see a huge improvement from normal game.

Most players no longer believe in you that you will create the kind of farming we have been asking for for years, the pot is constantly being reheated and probably the soil physics is still lacking
From 19 to 22, it was just an update for PC. nothing major was added to give it an " man it's worth it" For some reason I still get that feeling. There was some things that improved but that was thanks to all the devs outside of Giants that was taken from modders.
No competition.
17 is still the best in my opinion. Even many of the mods were better Nothing since has had the ‘wow’ factor for me like it. Not looking very promising this round either. Granted it’s just a cinematic, but it’s a bad cinematic.
I don't want mud runner ground physics, if you want to struggle through the mud go play snow runner.

As someone who plays FS since 2008, this seemed to me more like a trailer for an action game, not a simulator. I just hope they will make the game more deeper, not wider
Yeah, the first fs 2008 2009 were breathtaking at the time, since then it has been the same game for over 15 years just with more stuff
They don't really care about veteran players and issues with this game, it's all about marketing and selling as many copies as possible with less effort
@@drag0vWhy do you say that? I’m not confronting you, I’m genuinely curious. When I picked up FS22 in January last year, I was blown away with how much you could do with this game. I come from a real farming background and for a simulation experience that’s supposed to be part simulation but also enjoyable, FS22 is impressive. Compare that to your generic 1st person shooter where all you do is run around on a micro map shooting other players and nothing else.
@@drag0v I'd have to agree, I started with fs13 and played like mad all the way through to fs19, then fs22 came along and I just couldn't get in to it. The same obvious bugs with fs19 were there with fs22. Hired drivers getting stuck at the ends of fields, having to hunt through tons of options just to get a vehicle or tool reset and then having to drive all the way across the map to retrieve it from the store... Basically it just felt like fs19 with a fresh coat of paint.
Yeah it had seasons, bud they didn't feel like proper seasons. It was more like thay'd just dropped a snow mask over everything in winter, everything else was just sunshine, clouds, rain and then rinse and repeat.
Obviously some players loved it, but honestly having to micromanage buildings, production queues, winter, summer, spring and autumn/fall crops... and then having to micro manage your helpers when they get stuck on a tree, fence, basic pathfinding issue or whetever. It just felt like I was spending more time looking for issues than I was actually playing the game.
Will FS25 be any better? I doubt it!
The game development industry is like a wedge. You can't go deeper without also going wider.
Expand your horizons, and then everything under the sun will flourish.
They closely watch player videos about the game, and also have CZcamsrs that made their way to being loosely affiliated with the team. They'll change what needs to be changed as they see it needs to be changed.
I personally believe we should have better terrain manipulation and a way to paint AI pathing for both NPC and AI vehicles on console. Quality of life feature, yes, but very welcome still

No matter how in-depth this game pretends to be, at its core, it's still just driving over the same spots a bunch of times with different things.
Well that's what farming is in its core lol. The problem is the game doesn't have enough dept, it doesn't simulate physics and biology. The effect of each tool doesn't change, the power you need to pull it doesn't change, the dept of the tool in the ground doesn't change. Nothing changes.
I've been playing Farming Simulator since 2012 in Japan and this is a crop I've been waiting for for ages, so I can't wait to play it.

@@dxb8086 They been using the same engine for the last three games. No real advancement and the only addition they added last time was seasons, which was a mod before. Awesome..they just made a mod part of the game and market it as something new. Giants has the community and the means to make a better engine, but they refused for three games and I´m pretty confident they are still not making a new one here. But maybe I´m wrong and get surprised. Yeah, you don´t have to buy it, but you also miss out on content that could have been just a DLC for 20 bucks.

Are we finally getting groud displacement and not some graphic depth looking ground? Feels like the last few games a lot didnt change much. I hope 25 will be a good year again
Altough I’m excited, this game can have one major issue. If it is made on the same game engine like all the previous FS games, then this won’t be nothing new, just a new map, few new machines and some crops. You could see already on FS22, that the game engine is showing it’s age and it’s something that is holding this series back. On the graphical side and physical side of the game. I don’t want this series to be just like Fifa or COD, just the same game every 2-3 years with few new things. Hope the devs won’t dissapoint us.

Okay, so I just learned the game IS made on new game engine and will bring some better terrain deformation, this really gives me more hope, that the game will be something that the community was asking for for a long time.
Sorry to disappoint you, but its just an updated version of the engine they have been using since the beginning; hence it's called Engine Version 10... 😔

I don't know, it literally tells us nothing. For FS22 we saw the cgi trailer and thought: Oh, there will be environmental damage to the crops, exciting! But nothing ever happened.
Now, people talk about dynamic ground properties, new crops and all, like the cgi trailer has never been misleading.
Those trailers always look great. Let's see what they really deliver with the final product! I'm definitely looking forward to it, don't get me wrong, I just don't fall for that hype too easily anymore...
On the steam store page there is more to it.
New crops, rice and spinach are coming, buffalo's are a new livestock and there does seem to be something about dynamic fields...

Dude, half that trailer was about rice, as if they aren’t going to have rice farming in the game, and almost definitely spinach, that in itself is crazy.
Just like SCS (ATS and ETS2 creators), even with a graphics mod the game still looks like it's from 2008. Giant hopefully upgraded their engine massively to compete with Unreal or they need to throw in the towel. Ground deformation that's better than Snow runners, amazing graphics, a massive upgrade is needed to the physics and the games core systems in general, better optimization, actual simulated herds of animals based on how many you buy up to a certain amount that will be displayed roaming in the fields, companies that come and check your fields and fine you if they find anything that shouldn't he found in the soils contents, heavily upgraded weather system, better driving and controls in general, implement construction somewhat to the game such as barndomeniums and etc, modern and sleek UI instead of the outdated UI we have, hardcore mode for people who want it to be as realistic as possible, integrate top mods from previous games into the main game, vehicle damage with the ability to repair, a realistic chain/which system to accommodate equipment that will get stuck in muddy fields, and etc

They're using the new Giants Engine 10 - its note Unreal 5 - but its not "Updating the old"

You saying the same thing about Unreal Engine? It's origins are from the early 90s. It's "only" gotten updates since then too. Engines don't make games.

Anybody that thinks FS25 is going to be anything other than FS22 with "improved lighting, better physics, better AI helpers and more brands than ever!" is deluding themselves. Farming simulator isn't going to get some "extreme makeover" where it suddenly becomes this crazy new version of itself. It's going to be like FS22, but a little better in select areas and more base game equipment just like all the versions before it. I'm still going to buy it, but lets keep expectations in line with reality here.
Unfortunately I think you’re right. I never played farming sim before 22 (I didn’t know about it back then) so I haven’t seen the different versions but I’m looking forward to minor increases in graphics and more base vehicles. I saw the release trailer like yesterday on reddit and it looks pretty good. Just gonna have to wait and see when it comes out!

Vr would be the perfect game changer for the franchise though. It’s the perfect console for a simulation game. You can actually grab and attach your hydraulic lines, pull actual levers to adjust your implements and loaders, adjust and use your doors, mirrors and monitors. The possibilities are endless. You might have to take a hit in graphics untill the chips can catch up to the current graphics cards power but I’ll gladly take the greater immersion and brand new game with vr over the slight graphics bump and 10 new brands on computer anyway.

Well since we are talking about replay abilities, I think it will be like FS22, but this years installment will be only for PS5 and Xbox series S/X. No PS4 version. So this time giants will probably go all out. Better graphics better lighting, better draw distance, fluid movements,
See when they have to make games for older consoles it holds back the current new gen. But this year. The game will look and feel exactly like it should.

FS22 was a shitshow that had literally nothing new from the previous 15 years of games. All they have done is they made their own half assed version of great mods from the previous game.

This is the problem. They keep re-releasing the next version of the game with the same optimization and gameplay flaws. But instead of fixing those they just add things like brands and crop types. Because its easier to do.

Embracing the notion of farming as a multigenerational endeavor is consistent with my experience of farming, which has primarily involved me living in rural locations. Very good concept.
The first moment I started playing farm sim 13 was the day I never looked back ..and I’m still playing farm sim today ..thank you for this opportunity to farm ..and let’s play farm sim

Wow, will Machine Sync be available in FS 25? That precision farming for John Deere is incredible, I actually love it if the game is more involved in precision farming, adding plantability elements, decision making based on the previous harvest, productivity maps, more reality in pests and plant diseases , etc

From a cinematic trailer? Just like normal movie trailers you don't get the entire plot and everything explained in the trailer, you get an idea of the bigger picture. Go watch the last cinematic trailer of fs 22 and then see how much more was in the game
its not a mod to the game, its a trailer, it shows some things but not all like trailers for mods, the trailer for fs 22 didnt show anything new, yet there were lots of new things

I'm a console player that does not use any mods, so Rice is cool to see (not sure if that is already on PC or not via mods)
Something else I've seen people want is to see other NPC farmers working fields, is this trailer demonstrating that how they took a selfie with the other farmer?
I'm excited of course, and I'm sure more trailers will come but yeah, this trailer does not show much else than watching a farmer harvest rice, and the fact their is a Chinese or Vietnamese map of some sort, which I've never experienced on console.
I do see how it's lacking for PC, but it seems great for Current Gen Console players.

The game will launch with an east Asia inspired map. The rice planter shown is a Japanese brand.
@@MellowYe77ow that's why I am saying it. Japan isn't exactly known for water buffalos though, so the initial map certainly won't be Japan.
But the chance to add a Japanese map sometime down the road is bigger than ever know.

They use a "new" engine for every part. But its there own Engine. I think theres a huge problem here as they cant compete in aspect of graphics. It looks just the same since FS19 with a bit polish. But really nice textures or particles like UE5 we will never get if they continue this path
They will never create a new game engine, it’s the same one tweaked since 2007/8.

This is like watching World of Warcraft cinematics. Epic cinematic, but in reality, one wrong move with your tractor and you're flying halfway across the map.
