Crawfish would be great as crawfish and rice are typically grown in the same fields.
That John Deere combine MIGHT be an S7. The cultivator looks like a Summers or Great Plains

@@NoahH_GamingS7 and X9 are almost identically the same except a pretty unnoticeable scale difference, and of course the X9 tank has a extension.
We actually run 5 S7 combines.
@@NovaStar1 what are you on about? They're significantly different scale wise. Their entirely different classes of combines with a completely different threshing system. The S7 is a chunkier combine that has X9 esc plating. And the X9 is a much longer combine to accommodate the twin rotors.
So water is more interactive and possible soil/dirt can be moved...being there are mounds around the rice fields

Man, i sure can't wait. I know it's only a few months away, but the trailer got me hyped. I've never been this hyped for a FS game tbh, and i've played since FS 2009

The cinematic trailer surprisingly contains a lot of information about the new things to come. But GPS was not mentioned at all. I'm kinda scared, that this very basic and decades old farming technology will not make it into the base game.

An Arkansas or Louisiana map for rice would be great. Also would love a Kentucky or Carolina and Virginia map for small batch tobacco.

The cultivator is the Superchisel from summers manufacturing. The lizard diamond disc mod by bcbuhler was also the same brand.
Biggest news is that they ditched last gen consoles. There better be 4x maps!

Things I hope for in this game:
-Digging a since ground deformation is confirmed
-More interaction with dogs and the ability to own multiple dogs (maybe dog breeding too)
-More brands
-Hunting if they bring back deer from 22
-More modern base game American pickup truck
-Bigger maps
-Etc.
So what's the new features we've been waiting for?

glad I held off on buying 22, I kept wanting to get it but held off trying to see if there was going to be a 25 or 26
Once you get 25 the mods will be SLOW. There's a ton of mods right now for 22

I believe those are seaguls, and we usually have those in the fields around me after we disturb the dirt.

What would be really cool is with the ground deformation it make marks so if you drive over you slip and slid and can get stuck. Really exciting stuff. Just hoping they work with the livestock more breeds ect and make there feeding more realistic and immersive and making it so that the straw turns into muck instead of a separate thing.

Those birds are native to California. Also, California is the Rice capital of the world. So, I think it will be a northern California map. Just a guess. Some farms use planes to plant the rice seeds in the patties that would be awesome if that is in the game. Time will tell.
China is the rice capital. They produce the most rice per tonnes

The only reason they put it on new gen consoles is that most new games are better on new gen consoles plus old gen consoles are useless. I properly be playing this 2024 december and playing fs22 for the last time this year July - August

Interesting trailer, can't wait to see more teasers and get in the game and see what it's all about.
So i may have some interesting information for you. So the White Birds we see flying in front of the Combine during the Rice harvest, as well as the front White bird on the moving box art, my guess is an Egret. The white feathers, yellow beak and black legs leads me to think thats the type of bird. So probably wildlife. but here's the kicker, this is a hint to the US Map Location. Cause if you look up the majority of Rice production in the US, (which the Egrets were flying), Arkansas makes up 46% of the US Domestic Rice production. And Guess which state has the most Egrets during the Summer and Breeding seasons? Thats right, also Arkansas. Now this is a completely wild guess since both Rice and Egrets live in multiple states, but if we cross the lines, they all land on Arkansas, which im going to guess is the location inspiration for the New US Map.
Wonder if they'll add other things that need a levy system as well like Cranberries or crawfish

really hoping terrian deformation isnt over hyped. id love to see ruts left in a field but im very afraid that its gonna be like pushing silage and if thats the case its gonna be a complete bust in my opinion. cattles and crops had really achieved that aspect and if farm sim falls short of that then they need to return to the drawing board to provide an actual new game.

It would be wild if it came to game pass day one. Then I could just save my money to buy the premium upgrade/pre order bonus. Xbox is going to have their biggest booth ever at Gamescon 2024, which is in Germany.
1) CGI trailers should never be the (sole) selling point
2) what innovations are made so far? the leaked screenshot showed similar graphics and feeling to FS22.
This is a design choice, not something that will "magically change" in the last week.

i use to have xbox for fs, i got a pc and man the mods are so much better. i would say upgrade so you can get what you want from the game. consoles can only do so much. itâs worth it man

it's bold to call the people in the CGI trailers your protagonists, as they've never once showed up in-game.
Maybe you can settle for 1 being your own, but that breaks storyline due to customization.

Those graphics better be as on point as the trailer.
I'll hold off judgement till see some gameplay, but it looks more the same with some graphical improvements. It's becoming Madden at this point. I may be in the minority, but I feel it needs a pretty big overhaul. Tired of the wonky bale/pallet psychics, and I'd like to see the animals overhauled as well.
A little change they could make is have all tractors that are available both in the Europe and North America have all the proper warning signs/tire options for both. I hate having to download a mod of a tractor already in the base game just to get the proper North America warning signs.
