No one has talked about the fact that the bulls were in the rice field. Possible open animal areas or custom animal pastures
It would be pretty interesting to see heavy rain come through and flood part of a field which would be harder/near impossible to harvest. Harvester getting stuck in the mud or something .
Not only that but some form of terrain deformation? Now we'll be able to see our tires sink into mud instead of just magically immersing into mud like fs 22 does.
That is an interesting concept though, actually being able to get stuck in your field lol
I was thinking that also. Having the rain flood fields as in real life would be awesome. Considering they're showing a change with how water planes are handled, it seems there may be variable flood mechanic possible. Possibly an addition to a potential precision farming dlc?

As a Canadian in the prairies I’m glad they are implementing swathing crops to the base game.
15 base crops (add rice, ignore grass and poplar)? Miss the geese flying by the tractors?
Fun fact about rice, it doesn't need the flooding but weeds have trouble with the water. Also, the flooded field is perfect for fish that will eat the bugs attacking your rice. Wonder if fishing will be added.
Do you think rice growing and, in particular, the use of water will open the door to a more involved irrigation element to all crops and livestock in the game?
And to think I just got back into fs 22 a month ago and now we're getting a new game😂
They need to ad some sort of crashing sound
I am surprised no irrigation yet. Also, that rice system they have going may be easily used for cranberries well!

Was hoping for more animal teasers, mainly alpacas only because I grew up next to an alpaca farm.
The rice fields have me wondering if there will be a dirt/soil moving aspect to make the ridges that separate the fields. Maybe add base game bulldozer or some sort of earth moving machinery.

I would love yo see more wildlife, made the world feel more alive.

At 14:47 you can see a satellite receiver on the 9r and a few seconds later on the John Deere combine so hopefully they will work
Field on the right in the last picture has ditches, would be awesome to be able to improve drainage in fields when there is a lot of rain. But they would probably lean in to that feature a bit more if they are going to put it in the game
Hopefully they add more crops/livestock than just the 3 mentioned in the trailer. Seems like irrigation will be a big focus in FS25
Plantable/harvestable fruits and veggies as well as orchards would be awesome as well.
If we have rice, I want cranberries.
also I think the loaf of bread on the table might be RYE. I know it is already a mod crop but it would be nice to add base game.
Awesome video and I Giants is such a good company: frequent releases, regular updates, not hiking prices, mod support… My one gripe is that forestry physics has been messed up for so long😢 Hope they can do something
Waiting to see actual gameplay footage, have loved fs for a long time, but their promos are always way overdone and fancy compared to what you actually get so i hope to see them be more transparent ahead of release.
I think they will be adding a new bird animal. In the Hex color change video they had some interesting amplified bird noises.
I heard they are adding superflys... jk haha. Thats good to know about the sounds didnt even pick up on that!

Farmer Cop, Aprilia is such a good motorbike brand, the bike in the video is a motocross bike
Here in the Philippines, Animals especially Buffalo is used by the farmers to plant, cultivate and transport good by attaching some equipment to be pulled by the Buffalo.
It would be really cool if when we go into the menu, or purchase catalog, we take take out a phone, it would also be cool if we could take pictures with it and receive emails from companies like the bank, or something else.
I think the 15 on the egg timer is the 15 years since the first farming simulator game?
In the begining its rice field, and that's how the grow rice in paddy fields, so 100% rise is a new crop in the game.

Getting Rice.. yay.. hopefully you have to have the fields in the correct state for each process. Also.. Bringing the water groundstate into it for Rice operations ...Giants needs to take advantage of that and also do Cranberries.. my god its the same basic ground state and flooding systems.. lol id even pay for the cranberries in a bundle for DLC lol
Rice and irrigation... I'm also a big fan of farming rice and working the irrigation systems... I hope the tractors can be moved with steel disc wheels and caged wheels... not forgetting to mention steel tracks for the harvesters...😊

9:00 mudrunner/snowrunner ground deformation restores each time after loading a save file, so it's not so much of a cool thing

no sign of baby animals that you raise to adulthood like we currently have in FS22 from modders, have a feeling this game will take about 6 months from modders before its good with plenty of UK and USA content
The harvester is only in modded farm sim, it is a bigger capacity maxed one but a little better
I think they were harvesting rice with that combine
So chicken and rice go together so one would assume we are getting meat birds. Grow then fat chickens, send them to a butcher, then off to the market.
growing may mean crawdads. either in the base game or as a future mod.
I hope their are more crop types like onions and garlic.

The only thing I can think about the timer is looking at the official trailer is it’s 15 seconds into the video.
Maybe youll have to eat in the game? Its a cooking timer and the characters are eating in the game perhaps the timer indicates when youll need to eat thats my guess
@@robertschan8650eat and maybe forced sleep or sleep every so often so you can't just farm save farm save farm. Include maybe more realistic sleep work eat pattern. The one with is something missing. I wonder if their adding food production also. Sell rice and chicken n eggs etc to a food production factory? 🤷♂️
@northcentralindianawx ya that's what I was thinking make the game a bit more realistic and have it so you are forced to stop harvesting or field preparation cutting into the time making things a bit more fresh and challenging in my opinion

Man the narrator is trying to have a “Cajun” accent…. flooded rice fields, white birds flying while harvesting… (what we down south call cow birds). I have my money on North American map being based off Louisiana/ Arkansas.

Hi, I've read many happy, disappointed posts, comparisons between old games that seem modern and farming that seems old. perhaps you don't understand or don't want to understand that there is only one problem, the engine on which Farming runs is old!! he cannot give more than he has given, new shaders, new textures can be added but beyond this nothing more can be done. giants should buy the unreal 5 license and create a new farming instead they continue to sell us fs11 changing the name and making some adjustments. Fs25 is already old before it is even released
i really hope they have a butcher, think the trailer hints it. Also hope more animals, more realistic driving and def no 1, better AI. Would be cool if you have to hire people or have a family who can help you on the farm. So you have limited help and people moving around. Think the grafics ang movement today seems really old.
