T Beale never meant it as a justification. Guess I should have said that. I just think if more people around him paid attention to what was really going on with him and if they offered help and he accepted that help it might not have happened. The whole situation was a recipe for disaster. I hope people take this whole thing as a lesson and something changes.

I didn't say all people with CTE and/or rough childhoods are murderers. I said possibly if he had better people around him or asked for help with his mental issues it might not have happened. Evil isn't born its made. Even people with born with severe antisocial personality disorders can live normal, safe lives with proper help and support. Mental illness suffered in silence, stupid macho pride, internalized homophobia, reoccurring brain injuries since childhood, a shitty childhood, with all the other problems lead to a horrible inexcusable act. We need to learn from this and make Odin Lloyd's death and life matter. Too many people around Aaron cared more about his money and what they could get from him then calling him on his bullshit. It could have been stoped. That was my point. PERIOD.

I used to box when I was younger. I was 3-1 in 4 amateur fights. My 4th fight was my L. It was the 2nd round and I was already in the process of taking a knee because I was taking shots and I was out of my rhythm. In the way down my opponent nailed me in the side lf the head with a right hook.
We were wearing head gear and I don't remember being hurt. All I remember is I was trying to get up but my legs were wobbly and I was dizzy. Before I knew it the ref counted 10 and I was still trying to fight.
That night in bed I had a terrible pulsating headache like my brain was trying to slither out the front of my forehead. I NEVER got headaches before. I was 17 at the time and I really loved the sport and I loved competing, but I quit figthing competitively straight away. My reasoning was I was in agony from 1 punch from an amateur IN HEADGEAR. What would happen if I faced a Mike Tyson or a Vitali Klitschko someday? I could end up punch drunk like Muhammad Ali.
Thankfully that night was the worst headache I ever had and since then I've never had a headache that has lasted more than a just few seconds.

If you go look at his stats from the NFL combine, or whatever they call it, Aaron was freakishly strong. He burned Gronk in the bench press and other weight lifting portions of the testing. I remember he lifted an insane amount on the bench press - they all lift the same weight, but the number of reps he did was unreal.
Not that impressive when you realize the kid started taking roids at like 8 years old.

It was also like 200lbs or some shit. they had like 30 seconds or a minute - I'm probably wrong on all of it, lol, but, I just remember he was freakishly strong. No wonder he screwed that guys world up in the bar in Florida that he punched in the head in college.

He was a phenomenal player and really thrived in that two tight end offense that NE ran while he was there. I remember at one point of the season, they were both in the top 5 for every receiving category, I believe Gronk edged him out in TDs obviously but still highly impressive player. I wish he was presented with a different outlook on life bc God knows how many SBs they would’ve won together.

He clearly had a huge hang up about his homosexuality and it being revealed likely heavily contributed to his suicide. But, as they noted, his brain was examined post-mortem, showings significant case of CTE, which likely contributed to extremely poor decision making, depression, and an increased difficulty maintaining emotion. He was a ticking time-bomb and likely killed more than one person. These aren’t excuses but a way to understand his recklessness, self-loathing, and violence. Very good documentary.

@@JoeRyMi most policy's will have a 12 month clause at the start of the contract. That's to stop people getting life insurance then killing themselves straight away.
There's a handful of states in which if you commit suicide after a certain number of years the death benefit still has to be paid out. Hernandez committed suicide before officially being sentenced so his family could receive the death benefit because another clause in insurance policies is they will not pay if you die in the commission of a crime or illegal activity or highly dangerous activity such as sky diving or racing cars etc.

I've heard rumors that Aaron was a homosexual and from what I understand they can prove he at least had a dalliance in prison (and probably before that, too). Some people only become "gay for the stay" for a variety of reasons when it comes to their prison sentence. Some are actually legitimately gay and others are either looking for a companion OR they're someone who wants to make being a companion their hustle (everyone has a hustle in prison) so they get the protection and from what I understand the dudes who become the "women" in the relationship are treated like Gods in jail. Reason I am telling you all of this is that I am not sure if he was just gay in the context of his prison stay OR if he was gay before that. I guess I should see the documentary, shouldn't I? lol

Funhaus taught me that every race has about 4% of gay people across the board.
Loss of his father, drugs, CTE, loss of his cousin from cancer that he really looked up to after losing his father, and supposedly gay and or bisexual. He was found guilty for Odom Loyd but not the two men. The day after he was found not guilty of 2nd trial, he then supposedly committed suicide. It was such a sad documentary and I then went to CZcams for Dr Phil interviews on his wife. She either had no clue or in denial. His dad was anti gay for sure. And his dad was supposedly abusive at times.
Re: Which race is most gay. You can't just consider population, you have to consider culture as well. In some places, you're not "ALLOWED" to be gay, so these numbers are skewed.
