I looked this up and it’s kinda hilarious. It’s so odd to be upset that you don’t get to double dip on an album that already got sold. His claim was how it would harm lesser known artists. Curious if it ever occurred to his mind back then that a lesser cost album would convince somebody to take a chance on an unknown artist and then probably buy their albums new in the future.

The first time I met him, he was interested in my career and talked with me for almost a half hour. I laugh at all of these videos, but I've seen it both ways.

I worked setting up the stage for Garths first show in n his stadium tour a few years ago and I got to meet him and have a short conversation with him one day he came in to check out the progress of the stage construction. And I have to say that he is the most sincere and thoughtful person I may have ever met other than my own mother, there was no I'm better than anyone and yes he really is that passionate of a man about his work and his family. And what really impressed me about him was that several days later on the day of the show he was one of the first people there and he walked up to me and shook my hand and he still remembered my name from our 2 minute conversation 4 days before, and what I noticed is that he remembered every person's name that he met there which is amazing to me. I know there are people out there that have that ability and he's one of them, and this man meets people constantly all day long.. But yes he is really that emotional because I saw it firsthand
