There is a difference between bleeding your club because that's where you're from, and an outsider who chose to support the club for whatever reason. People like Lee are naturally more invested because the club is who they are, and not something they just wear. I'm not hating on outsider support, because it's necessary to grow the game, but there is a huge difference between the new wave fans from the US/Canada, and the people I grew up with (in the middle of the NLD crossfire).

The funny thing is Egal's thought process is actually very valid and very close to how see it if I was an Arsenal fan, but I also totally get where Lee is coming from because from the outside looking in, it was obvious very early on last season that Arteta was out of his depth.
