      Nothing like the glaziers. The glaziers back every manager , always. These clowns at Chelsea clearly ain’t backing poch and they didn’t back touchel. Slate the glaziers as much as yo7 like but they have always bought players and backed 3very manager.

      @leonleon2276
      The Glazers have ultimately created the player power culture that exists at United because they don’t want to sell players at a loss. Which they inevitably create the conditions for by allowing themselves to get extorted in the transfer market with insane transfer fees. They then compound the initial transfer fee issue by then signing players to massive long term contracts on ridiculous wages. Players then ultimately not only lose their hunger but never leave United in any sort of timely fashion because neither the Glazers want to sell them for a loss nor do the players want to give up their guaranteed wages that they will never make again for the rest of their lives at any other club. I understand why you say the Glazers back managers. But that’s a very superficial analysis. They’ve actually created the exact conditions that allow United players to undermine managers and stay years past their sell by date.

      I think it has to do with two things. First, Gab cannot stand Stevie’s lazy and basic takes. As funny as Stevie can be he very often doesn’t do basic due diligence and waffles without any substance. He’s the lovable grandpa of the show but he’s very often far off the mark. Second, Gab is not only a talker and always wants to interrupt, which Stevie doesn’t respect, but he actually does the very opposite of Stevie and actually does a lot of due diligence. The combined effect is you have two guys with two very different styles. One of whom cannot stand the other guy because he’s constantly trying to overtalk but the man who overtalks actually has the more valid points and is showing up the other guy. That’s how I see it.

      He literally implemented one tactic, invert cucu when in possession, to help Caicedo not be on an island in the midfield and low and behold, we don't look as vulnerable. If he was so incessant on playing Gallagher every game pressing up like a mad man leaving so many gaps behind while also playing Enzo as a second striker leaving Caicedo to fend for himself in transition, cucu inverting in possession would probably not have been necessary, his "system" clearly didn't suit our players other than the roadrunner.

Not to mention what @el.aye.bee.4477 mentioned which is that - in Europe at least - there is an injury crisis from the players being overplayed and a transference of sensationalism in football. @tobaepebinuade5830 Před 23 dny +1

    Jokes aside, Chelsea are one of the worst ran clubs in world football right now. They’re not a serious football club and until that changes, this project going absolutely nowhere and you can see that their biggest problem is Todd Boehly and their management. I know they didn’t have a great season, last season they finished in 12th place, this season they finished in 6th place, overall that’s seen as improvement, but that wasn’t enough for Mauricio Pochettino to keep his job. There was a period where they were 10th 11th yet he didn’t get sacked and how come they agreed to let him go days after securing European football when they had a strong end to the season. Pochettino yes he wasn’t the right manager for this project in the long run, but their season showed signs of promise and he deserved more time. Just when you think that they were steadying the ship and getting things on track, they got rid of another manager. That’s the one thing that hasn’t changed under Todd Boehly, which is their revolving door around managers coming in and out. Yes with Abramovich they had a ruthless approach when it came to managers when the team wasn’t meeting expectations, unlike Boehly, at least they had an owner with guys who knew a thing or 2 about football. Boehly and his management are absolutely clueless and nobody knows what they’re even doing. First it was Thomas Tuchel, then Graham Potter and now Mauricio Pochettino. Even though they’ve spent over a billion dollars, they’ve had more managers than trophies won and haven’t come anywhere close to the top 4 in the premier league. The cycle with this owner has continued simply because the manager is the one who doesn’t have control over who’s making the decisions at the club like the players they’re signing getting rid of or loaning out.
    This is why they keep signing overpaid mercenaries who are on ridiculous long term contracts and are constantly changing managers left right and center. As I’ve brought up before, they’re bigger than the club, but you have to at least be able to back the manager and actually be patient with him. Chelsea aren’t a club that usually does that and they want immigrate results and you need to be good enough otherwise you’re out. That’s why being a manager at Chelsea it’s one of the most difficult jobs for any manager particularly with this ownership because when you spend a lot of money the expectation there is to compete for trophies and get in the top 4. They’ve not been able to do that this season and the board needs to realize that success doesn’t happen overnight when you’re lacking a strategy and a plan. Realistically, who’s the best manager for Chelsea because you don’t know what’s next for them and you fear that they could make the same mistake since they haven’t changed their ways.
