So when Egal adds context to the games to explain that the performances aren't as bad as people suggest, Lee says it doesn't matter it's only about the result. But within 20 seconds of saying that, Lee goes on to attempt at adding context to the games to explain why we didn't play well and on another day we'd have lost or drawn. Contradicts himself within seconds. He says we need 4 more players, but if our squad is fully available we have 11 players in the squad that are all first team players to fit into 9 bench spots. He suggests 4 more players to take our total to 15 players in the first team which would mean 6 players can't even make the matchday squad. Guy knows nothing about squad building and what I just said doesn't take being a manager to work out.
The two most successful clubs in England the last 7-8 years has been Liverpool and City. Two clubs who identified an ideal manager for their team, backed him with the time and funds to build their squad and now look at what they've achieved. Both have won the lot while these other clubs like Spurs, Chelsea and United can't get any consistency on the pitch because they have no consistency from top to bottom at the clubs. New manager every two seasons at a minimum. If Liverpool took the attitude of Lee and the other United mug on here, Liverpool should've sacked Klopp when he didn't win anything in his half season in 15/16. Or sacked him after not winning anything in 16/17 and losing the EL final. Should've sacked him in 17/18 when he won nothing and lost the CL final. If they did, they'd have missed their best period since the 90s. They wouldn't have played the football they did and been as entertained as they were, and they would never have won every trophy at club level if they did what these idiots suggest. But I guess these guys are the ones with standards eh.

The excuses why we(Arsenal) can't compete for the title are not valid. The last time we won the league Leicester got relegated. 10 years later Leicester came back into the Premier league and won the league within 2 seasons,while we were competing for top 4(the loser's title)

This time last year other teams were still trying to actually play football against arsenal. The games were more wide open which allowed us cleaner opportunities. Now everyone is set up to not allow chances and we’re playing against packed boxes. Of course we looked more dominant when games were wide open.

This Arsenal struggle session was so captivating as a Manchester United fan and soul crushing as a lover of sport at the same time.
