This is NOT a truck...its a tank. Considering most of V6 based turbo engines in the market is pretty good at hauling, its hard to find a good V8 other than GM's small block engines. Nissan's V8 5.6 in my opinion is one of the best in the market. This truck will do everything you ask for.
Most underrated truck on the market
But the engine and transmission no problems
@@fernandoduarte9584
Absolutely not, stop reading things.
I've owned F150s ..Rams and Chevys and those pickups are absolute garbage to my Titan.
Titans also have "just enough" tech.
@@mikeriv60 I said that the 3 bigs looks beautiful but are garbage, titan the most underrated but still has a real V8 engine and tranny with no problems , I went to the dealership yesterday and I'm impressed with titan pro 4X
@@fernandoduarte9584
Ahh gotcha I misread your reply. 👍
Everything seems to be going electric or CVT. This may be one of the last REAL trucks ever made.
I have a 21’ Pro4X, and I had long term driven several Titans prior to getting(which is what sealed it for me). Hands down the best 1/2ton currently on the market. Drives and handles better than the others. Much more reliable than the others, cause it’s simple. The heavier, and precise, steering is perfection to me. Can’t stand over-boosted steering and numb feedback. Pro4X real world highway usually 20mpg. The SV trims with smaller tires equipped get closer to 22mpg in my experience, which is real close to what Fords eco engines get. Drove a Chevy 1/2ton last week(rental) with 2.7L turbo and it couldn’t even get 20mpg highway, plus it sounded like a rubber-band, and it’s interior was atrocious. Long story short I like it, family likes it, heck even the dog likes it.
Premium is only Needed to get 400 horsepower. Other than that regular and you get something like 380-390 horsepower. Love my truck
390 HP. It's not worth the .60 cents per gallon more for 10 HP. You can't tell the difference
I've had 2titans.. love em
They sound like race cars when pressing that thing to the floor 😍
I work for Nissan and just ordered my titan pro4 4x4 cc. Custom built the way I want it will not be another one like it can't wait 45 days and it will be here. 16:10
You MISSED the REAL MAJOR CHANGE. There's NO more Antenna on the fender. It's now a shark fin on the roof. 👍
2022 had that as well.
That's the worst part
I bought a $25 stubby USA made antenna for my ‘21 Pro 4 X. Easy fix.
2011 pro 4x titan
400000 trouble free miles
Great trucks
I have 2021 Titan pro 4x, just a head up you must check your front and back differential fluid after 5k miles. The manufacture somehow put very low fluid cause metal build up on a drain plug I hope this help some of you
WARRANTY
This engine will outlast the competition 💯 beautiful truck
I am on my second Titan. The first was 2004 Nissan Titan Off-Road with 320k Miles...sold it for $5K last year. Purchased a 2014 Nissan Titan Pro-4X last year as well with 34K Miles. I have had a Silverado, F-150, Tundra, couple of Tacomas, and Nissan Frontier. The Titan is an awesome truck and soooo underrated. I tow a 6500 lbs boat and have never had problems towing or hauling.
It is amazing to me that Nissan is having trouble selling these trucks. For what you get for the price it is impossible to beat it with any other auto maker.
Nissan would've sold a lot of trucks had they built their bigger dealerships in Different states. They put them in States where people choose cars over trucks. They have a few in Texas but in some states your nearest dealer is 150 miles away and if you need warranty work that's a PIA. You can drive through Dallas and see FORD, Dodge and Chevy dealers every 2-5 miles apart and maybe one Nissan dealer.
The look is why. Not the best looking truck
@@richardoliver1621Well it’s WAY WAY WAY better looking than the GM/CHEVY trucks, and in fact I think it’s better looking than the Ford. Not to mention, I’ll take a “less sexy” looking truck that runs, drives and performs BETTER than any other truck on the market.
@@danielk0106Nissan doesn’t market the Titan. Even Toyota markets the Tundra, and the other 3 spend billions on marketing every year.
@@shawng4886 Apparently you didn't read what I said.I never said anything about them marketing the Titan. I simply said they built their biggest Dealerships in states and cities who prefer cars over trucks. How many farmers do you see in San Francisco? Tacoma,WA? New York? and other states with cities who have zero farming communities. I live in a small town full of farmers but they have a Chevy dealership so you'll see more farmers driving them. Some Fords and a few Toyotas. I've seen 5 Titans. The nearest Nissan dealer is 100 miles away. How many people will choose to go look at a Titan when they can drive a mile or two and buy a Chevy? IF you build a Mercedes dealership here do you think they'll have a great sales record?
FYI. How many Toyota commercials have you seen and how often 0-1 I bet.
Love the 2023 Titan. I’m going to buy one this week!
Did you end up buying one?
How are you liking it?
Crickets...
I’m excited to turn 16 in March this year
LED headlights and daytime running lights, you have to upgrade to get these on any of the big three. This is the best half ton pickup on the market. My dealership is trying to get me to trade my Frontier for one.
Just traded a 2023 Tundra 1749 OR for a 2024 Titan pro-4x. Yes, big hit to my now empty wallet, but I couldn't stay in Tundra. I was coming from a Titan SL lease, and took a chance on the Tundra... the interior reface isn't horrible, but the loss of driver space, the super rigid, concave seats that also seam to sit lower are destroying my back, knees and tailbone. Tried so many different aftermarket cushions and supports, terrible. I don't like the whiny v6. The steering is like a mini van, smaller steering wheel that is very loose in feel. Smaller windshield. The computer sized 14" tablet screen is too much for me. The headlights are weaker some how, I do use headlight tilt feature on the Titan even when not towing, great beam projection and coverage. It rattles and almost sounds like I'm bottoming out over bumps, I don't even have anything in the bed or the cab, what the hell is thumping against the bed??? Anyway, If everything else was perfect but the seating, I still couldn't abide. My 25 min drive into work is uncomfortable and leaves me sore. Bye bye Tundra, Hello 24' Titan pro-4x. There are many many heavily discounted, fully loaded, 2023 pro4x trucks on the market right now. Dealer offered 8k off MSRP for the 24' I'm getting next week. They are not discontinuing the Titan, just doing refresh and dropping v8, per Nissan.
Excellent video and well said👍🏼💪🏼
2020 Pro-4X owner. Best vehicle I ever had! ❤️ Love it
Love your detailed reviews and amazing camera work! Keep it up man!
Appreciate it!

What's the "major change"? I must've missed it?
I need this exact truck minus the sunroof of course.
Naw you want the giant moonroof
I see the perfect overland half ton! Omg it sounds amazing!
Titans just do the job and the ride is extremely comfortable.
Best truck I ever owned....from Texas...
I have a 2023 Pro4X and I love the truck! The only thing I think has gone down hill since this is my 3rd Pro4X is the paint quality. After the first week of owning it I had chips in the black matte bumper. I've had a Chevy, Dodge,Toyota and for the money this is a great buy. For everything you get, the power and the look!!! It is sad that they won't be making them anymore.
I’ve got chips in my black grille (21 pro 4x).
Just purchased a 2023 Titan SV Midnight for $50k. Couldnt be happier! This truck is a master piece!
nice trying to get a pro 4x but keep getting quote at 60k.
Best half ton on the market...I don't know what it is about the Titan, but I've owned all but Toyota, and I just love these trucks
Nissan Titan for me please.
I'm hurry up and buying this pickup quick!
Doesn't the standard V8 make it unique among the other trucks?
This truck is number 1 on my list. Just hoping the prices on vehicles start dropping soon. I've had a f150, silverado and ram. And between the prices, reliability issues and to much tech in them I'm pretty much done with them. These titans seem to be the way to go.
yea they want 60k for it. no thank you
@@leeg5678 some dealers are marking them down to 50k already. You just gotta look. I'm waiting for them to drop to 45-47 before I buy
@@zeuscasey pro 4x with convenience and utility package, none so far on 50k OTD
I'll buy one right now with 50k OTD, but none
@@leeg5678 check out pierioa nissan in Arizona.
I just bought a Pro-4X three months ago. Great truck, and great value. I was considering getting a Ram but would've paid about $10k more for it to have all the same features included with the Titan.
OTD?
@@leeg5678 63k after taxes and fees. MSRP was 64.5k, and included upgrades like the moonroof package, utility package, convenience package, off road protection package, step boards, front tinted windows, and a few other options.
This week I test drove a used 2022 Titan Pro4X and I loved it. I tried to buy it but the dealers here in my town are used to getting top dollar with all of the bs adders and I couldn't make a deal that was satisfactory to me. Then I looked around and found an new 2023 several hours away at a great price that I am seriously considering pulling the trigger on.
Did you get it?
@@TheDevilsquid I thought about it for a couple days and the dealer sweetened the deal another $500 so I committed to buying it by signing a purchase agreement and giving them a $1000 deposit. $7,000 below MSRP with a doc fee as the only adder. 🙂 So, now I need to find a driver to go with me and drive my old vehicle back. It's a 5 hour drive away.
@williamwhite9767 I just did the same thing but bought out of state flew over there, and bought the truck! Drove home. Bear experience of my life!
@@jeremiahalmos2643 Yep, Monday of last week, 6/26/23, a neighbor went with me to pick it up. It's a fantastic truck. Tuesday I washed my old 2002 F150 and my 2005 Dodge Magnum RT and put both on Marketplace for sale. I was deluged with inquiries and the Magnum sold the next morning on Wednesday and the truck sold on Friday. I got more than expected for both of them. There is a huge demand for decent older vehicles.
@@williamwhite9767 what was the OTD?
Lol. Just use your foot to kick down the rear step. That’s how you’re suppose to do it.
Just bought this exact truck (minus the skylights) and love it. Have found noting to dislike-and the Deep Pearl Blue is awesome.
you said at 3:05 Pro-X trim level. Did you goof or think you were driving a Frontier? :-)
Personally, Easter Eggs hold no great significance for me; I can add my own customization touches if desired. Steering feel is often underrated in vehicle assessments however; that is a make or break quality for me in a vehicle.
Adding my opinion here.
I own a 2019 Nissan Titan XD cc Pro-4X But,,, mine is the 5.0 V-8 Cummins my 1 complaint is on fuel milage would've liked to have seen better #'s there. But other than that. I am Crazy Happy w/ it. AND THE Fender sound system Rocks w/ the factory Amp... Heated seats& Steering wheel are nice in winter time...
Toyot Tundra does not include the rear step. Its a $400 accessory.
If only Nissan could reconsider its decision to discontinue the Titan, given all the drama surrounding the Tundra engine. The Frontier is already attracting positive attention from the Tacoma controversies.
🏆 Nice 🏆👍
Looked at my first Titan x4 today used salesman didn't know a lot about it, so I'll ask here does the titan have tow haul mode or Afm or Dfm like the Chevys that turns your v8 into a v4 and do they have the start stop that shuts off motor and red lights, I was a die hard Chevy guy but these are the reason I'm looking at different brands, I'll look for a different salesman at Nissan when I go back lol, any help I can get will be appreciated
No cylinder deactivation or auto engine start stop. It's a great truck! Just wish it had better aftermarket support
Yes, it has a tow/haul mode, and a trailer brake controller
Yes it does
It's too bad they are not more popular they are a great truck.
Is the warranty 5 years 100,000!mile bumper to bumper?? Or 5 year 100,000 miles power train and 3 year 36,000 miles bumper to bumper??
I have the 2018 Sv and love it. Gas mileage is horrible but what do you expect it’s a V8 lol.
Love this truck and not ugly like Toyota product
Off road features??? Anything on that???
I missed what the major change was you were advertising is it just click bait
Wireless apple car play. He says it clear as day.
Apple CarPlay is not a "Major change" change
@@ronsouth3359 Normally I’d agree but for a Nissan Titan it might be.
@@joeblacc8573 car play was in the 2021 & 2022 year.
@@ridynh7923 wireless? Cuz the wireless part is the “new” addition.
I have a 2023 Pro4x and love it but as fare as the bass kicking butt , It doesn't you get by with it but it doesn't kick butt . Oh ya in all the reviews i have watched not one of them mentions the hidden key in the key fob or how you can put the front windows down with the fob . Other wise good job .
Suck they stop selling them in Canada
I think it is great that they’ve added Apple CarPlay but have they added a wireless charger? There is no point of being wireless if you have to plug in your phone to charge it anyways especially on a long trip.
NO wireless charging. FYI all the other trucks from FORD, GM, RAM, TOYOTA have it and they charge so slow nobody uses them and the Toyota's have issues with them not working at all.
Yes, the wireless charges horribly slow. No, Titan does not have it.
No problem plugging in, I don't care about wireless charging at all. This is a real truck.
@@TheGenerationX894 Same here. I just plug mine in even at home. Don't even own a wireless charger. 🤣
What was the major change?
wireless carplay, same as the frontier (not sure I'd call that a major change lol)
I've been test driving these and I like them, but Nissan missed on a couple things that make this very difficult for me. At my height, I can't tolerate the moonroof in these trucks. My head rubs the ceiling with the seat all the way down and leaned back as far as I can tolerate. In the Pro-4X trim, you have to get the moonroof to get ventilated seats. Without a moonroof, it's heated only. Ventilated seats is something I really like in a vehicle. In Platinum Reserve trim, you get heated and cooled standard regardless of moonroof. But that truck just doesn't look as good as the Pro-4X, and its not easy to find a Platinum Reserve without the moonroof option. And for some reason 90% of the Platinum Reserve trucks I'm finding are white. Very plain!
The seat needs more vertical adjustment and the ventilated seat option needs to be more available. Then the truck would be a knock out of the park for me.
The ventilated seats on mine are pretty useless!
@@12masterr I wound up buying a Platinum Reserve to get the cooled seats. I would not change that decision
No tow mirrors? This tows over 9k....hmmmm
What’s the one major change?
👍💖👍
Only downside of Pro4x is the tires came with the truck do make the road noise noticeable.
