Hey Joe, since we are so close to Christmas, I wanted to do one last Raiti's Rides jingle. This one's called, Joe Raiti is Racing to Town.
You better not zonk,
You better turn quick,
You better not crash I'm telling you why,
Joe Raiti is Racing to Town!
With some golden twinkies,
His jokes are funny,
He'll be on throttle in all the twisties,
Joe Raiti is Racing to Town!
He knows when your on throttle,
He knows your on the brakes,
He knows if you've been near his stash,
So stay aways from his sweet snacks!
Joe raiti is Racing, Joe Raiti is Racing, Raiti's rides is coming to town!!

HE's very entertaining, but so are you!
The most underrated truck in the industry
You better believe it.
I agree. The Tundra is overrated tbh. I rather take the Titan
That makes zero sense
Bit strange how you avoided answering your question..
@@spectralknights2 yeah cuz the tundra has a v6 twin turbo now and the titan has a cummins v8
By far, the most underrated full size truck out there! Driving my 3rd Titan now!!
What kind of trouble have you had with your trucks? Why aren't more people buying these?
@Brad I think it is name (when compared to Ford, Chevy, or Dodge) and lack of diversity with packages. Even in this state of elevated gas prices, nothing beats the V8 in this truck. It is called Endurance for a reason in my opinion. I grew up in a Ford house and test drove an F-150. I test drove a Titan after that and fell in love with it. Granted that no auto company is without issues, but I haven't had any problems with the three that I have had. I know some have had some tough moments with theirs, but I am more likely to trade my current Titan in for a newer model Titan.
@@chris_chappell Wow, three of them and no problems that is impressive. I hear all of the time about how bad those jatco transmissions are but I also read where their trucks don't have the same ones as the their cars do. Because they have a lot of trouble with the Rogue's, Altima, Maxima, etc.
@Brad ironically, I also had an Altima and my wife had a Pathfinder. Both of those had that CVT transmission. Totally different type of transmission from what's in the Titan. Like I said, I know there are some bad apples out there, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I've treated my truck like a truck as well, I don't baby it at all (other than cleaning it and regular maintenance).
@@chris_chappell Five year 100K mile warranty is the best in business. Donât have buy additional gap warranty like with Ford Chevy and Ram. Iâm on my second Titan and they added two more years so I have a seven year warranty now. Plus free oil changes.
60k for a Titan loaded with a V8 forget paying 80k for a platinum tundra with a V6
A new 4x4 Platinum Tundra is nowhere near $80k.
@@sawyermartin4434 make me out of a lie then
The Toyota is slightly more expensive but doesn't look quite as nice.
@@jamieheim8009 I owned plenty of Toyota from Camry to Cressida on up to sequoia. Now owning a 2013 Sentra maintenance is way cheaper
@@sawyermartin4434 yes it is too here in sc there going for 79-85 thousand
The Nissan Titan will always have a place in my heart!
It might be the last year.
I'm not buying the new tundra... but, I'd buy the titan.
@@seymorefact4333 Good choice because the new tundra has a V6 twin turbo but the titan has a Cummins V8
For the price you cannot beat the Titan. I have a 19 and absolutely love it! Compare a 60k GMC and you wonât be anywhere near as nice or have as many options as the Titan. Itâs a great value and definitely underrated.
The Platinum Reserve has the best ride. They have additional dampers for a smoother ride. Takes the bumps, but is not sloppy. It's on my radar for sure.
Rented the Pro4X on Turo earlier this year. this was a DAMN good truck! I ended up getting the Armada, but the titan is criminally slept on
You are so very right about that! I really appreciate you sharing that experience.
I have a 2020 Platinum Reserve and I love it. It's also my 4th Titan because I like them so much. I've been saying since they came out in 2004 that they are the most underrated truck out there - you can't beat what you get for the price - and they're arguably one of the best looking full size trucks IMO.
The Titan is still a nice full size truck ! And for the price it under cuts the rest of the competitors and you get the lovely sounding V8 đȘđœđđŒđ„â€ïž
I love my Titan and great sounding exhaust coming from the V8. For 60k I can live without a heads-up display, and a larger infotainment system. Wireless charger should be standard.
I have a 20 PR and love it. What I don't love is you can't plug your phone in without it going to apple car play. I think the steering is a little to hard to turn when parking. I wish the back doors would open up further. I also think they went on the cheap with non LED turn signals. What I do love are the seats. The best in the industry. Simply love the ride and how quiet it is. The V8 speaks for itself. Fender system is awesome. Love the sunroof. The column shifter frees up a lot of valuable real estate in the center. Yo can't even feel the shifts. And lets not forget the 5 YEAR, 100K MILAGE BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY!!!!! Easily the most underrated truck on the market.
Such a great truck and it deserves so much more press than it gets. The new offerings from The Big Three are going down a direction and this is a true truck. Kudos to Nissan for keeping it simple with one engine and refining the truck.
I think Nissan did a great job with this truck.Nothing like good ole v8 power.
i bought a 23 last month and im in love with mines. It is so smooth to drive, the only mod i did was straight piped it. Definately doing more mods down the road.
What trim did you get and how much did you pay?
i got the platinum reserve and i bought mines for 63,000.00 in greenville, sc. They got rebates and incentives on them and for my straight pipes, i pay 220.00 plus tip so 230.00.....
Cool đ
Easily my favourite truck old school yet still really nice
I am so glad that you like this Titan!
Nissan seats are great - had a long drive in my Rogue this past weekend, a trip I've made in other cars before, and it was the most comfortable I had been in any of them.
Very good feedback from your experience Robert!
Nissan Titan Pro4x owner here, absolutely love this truck.
Bought a new TITAN in 2004, after 17 years I only spent about $1000 in repairs, and about $1500 to get the hood and roof repainted because the clear coat faded. Other than that, SOLID ENGINE & TRANSMISSION.
I have never regretted buying my 21 Pro-4X. I tow 6k lbs+ all the time, offroad all the time, and put 30k trouble free miles on it. Its just a nice solid truck for people who actually need a light duty truck. Not a fancy grocery getter for people who should actually drive a sedan.
I bought a truck when I really only needed a sedan. I did it mainly to make people like you cry more
lol, love your reviews, you truly know how to keep viewers entertained and informed. Ty for sharing đ€
I've had 2 titans in the past, loved them both. If I didnt go to the 3/4 ton diesel side, I would be looking hard at a new 23 titan.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one Lucas from your ownership.
Joe this truck is set up right. I like the fact that you can get this top trim level truck with nice materials but doesnât have all the overwhelming bullshit electronics and a ridiculous price tag. Also the v8 that doesnât use that mother flippin cylinder deactivation!! I say nissanâs doing some good things here, its just right. Thanks joe
Iâve had 2 Titans, both Pro4X, the later one being a 2019. Nicest trucks Iâve ever owned. Had to give it up to buy a house. If Nissan can stick with it a little longer, I think they will sell more as the competition continue to go in a direction a lot of us donât want to go in. Donât give up yet, Nissan.
You are so absolutely right they're going the wrong way all the other car truck dealers manufacturers I should say but Nissan's going the right way with this I hope they don't get rid of it they need just to advertise it more than really push it
100% agree!!
@@scottmendoza8989 for some reason they advertise their cars and Fronteer, but hardly ever anything about the Titan. No wonder they're not selling. It's like they want to lose out on this market.đ
Unfortunately 2024 is the last year production for the Nissan Titan. I was thinking to buy one, but Iâm not sure, due to last year production. My next option is the GMC Sierra 3.0 Duramax.
I have the 2017 version of the pickup and it's great. Nissan engineers did a great job on the truck but their marketers did a terrible job of getting the word out and selling it.
Nissan did a TON of investing & homework on this truck. The advertising/awareness was the weak spot. It was more of a 'regional' rollout where the invested more in certain areas and hardly anything in others based on former market share. They need to go all out with a new launch, new branding, new refreshed product. It's a stunning value!
They sure did! It is crazy that they are going to be killing it off.
Donât kill this truck Nissan! Just add a 15 inch infotainment screen & sales with triple
You think that is all it will take.
I agree.. maybe change the front of the truck up a bit..
By far the most underrated full size pickup on the market. Shame so many sleep on this truck. Itâs the only one with a standard V8 all trims, no turbochargers, V6âs, hybrids or electrics. Ironically itâs the most traditional âAmericanâ pickup.
I have owned four Titans. Great trucks. I have also owned Silverados(4.8 & 5.3) I like them also but they wouldnât outlast a Titan when it comes to durability or longevity.
Thanks for sharing that great ownership input Shawn!
Thanks for the Titan review. Looks like a really nice pickup. Donât see them much in my neck of the woods. Thanks for bringing it to us.
That is one massive pickup truck
Large and in Charge!
Yeah everyone that gets in my Titan is impressed with the size.
Bro you do great reviews. Your reviews have made me make decisions on multiple car and truck purchases!!!
We bought a used 2020 Nissan Titan Pro-4X with 42k miles & the 7' bed a few months ago. We love it.
It has:
-no start stop
-no cylinder de-activation
-hydraulic steering instead of the new trend of digital steering like some kind of video game
-gear shifter on the steering wheel not some digital knob that has issues like in our 2019 Ram Warlock 1500 we used to have
-in bed rail system for cargo strapping wherever needed (dealer didn't have the attachments though so we have to use the corner metal loops for strapping cargo)
-premium interior
-SUPER COMFORTABLE seats
-400hp naturally aspirated engine, no turbos, no super chargers, just raw power
The cons:
-infotainment system demands you install android auto or the apple equivalent if you plug your phone into either dash mounted USB just to charge your phone (it will keep popping up over and over and over and over)
-infotainment system ignores screen presses half the time, is a bit sluggish to respond, sometimes just resets for no reason, & seems like someone put armor all on the screen
-Payload is kind of low at 1200 lbs
-if you are turning while accelerating from a stop it will spin the tires if you aren't careful (happened on our test drive turning left onto the freeway)
-our rear window defroster connection is snapped off and is just dangling
-the truck is very high off the ground and hard to get in and does not have any side step rails
We would buy it again in a heart beat. It really is the most underrated, under appreciated truck out there. No idea why people prefer more widgets and doo dads that make trucks more unreliable.
My very first pickup truck! Terrific job Joe.

As many have said, perhaps the most underrated and under appreciated truck on the market. Compared to trucks like the Denali it is missing a few features including a transfer case with an all wheel drive setting. The good news is Nissan should be able to keep a V-8 but our truck in the lineup for a long time with all their small cars and EVâs propping up their CAFE. The big three are going to have a much more difficult time.

Nissan Titan the last good traditional truck. No âoverkillâ on the screen but still good tech. Sad that itâs going to probably go away this year.
Love me a column shifter!
I just bought a 2023 Platinum Reserve. Non biased here, I can tell you that it got my attention due to the deal that I found on it. That is what lured me in to even give it a chance, however after driving it, I was sold. I have had pretty much all of the trucks out there, and the ones that I haven't, I have driven extensively. I say all of this to let you know that this truck is the real deal. Unless you need to tow over 9200 pounds (I think it will safely tow much more) then overlook this truck, if not, you owe it to yourself to give it a test drive just like I did and you will probably wake up in the morning seeing a Titan in your driveway. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying one out for yourselves.

What it would come down to for me is if the titan is a good enough truck for you given the price for the 2. If the denalis insane interior is worth the extra dough go for it, for me Iâd save even more and pick up a second hand titan, modern enough for me anyways.
If I was in the market for a truck I'd choose the Nissan. It's a simpler design and you can get a great discount usually because no one wants to drive a Nissan đ
It definitely needs a massive makeover. I love my 17 XD W/ 5.0L. I dont haul massive amounts of stuff, but my bed is filled weekly. I'm looking for a dump trailer since I just got a compact tractor. There is a huge difference in towing a trailer with a 5800lb truck than a 7400lb truck. Weight is so much better for towing. Plus the wheel base is longer too. Compared to the std titan. Had 2 O.G.s.
Sadly I'm look at chevy for my next truck. The new LZ0 duramax with the max trailering package. Most duramaxs average 28mpg. Where I can bear ly get 20mpg on a good day.
Nissan has a 4.0L diesel in Europe. Should have been the engine the XD started with.

I also like the XD đ đ€Ł. It's less than the domestics but represents a good price point. They say the ride isn't as good as a Ford F-150, but it is quite good. Should Nissan compete directly against the big 3? That being said, could an Armada compete against a Tahoe?
