  • The Nissan Titan was the 13th best-selling truck in America last year. But is it really that much worse than a Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra or Chevrolet Silverado? In this video Ryan covers all the features, tests the 0-60 and off-road capabilities of one of the worst-selling trucks on the market. Should new truck buyers give the Nissan Titan a second look?

Traded my 2019 Ram Laramie for 2021 Titan Pro-4x. Shorter bed and lower towing capabilities. But a lot safer with extra standard features, much better off the pavement than the Rebel. You don't have to pay extra for things or fight trim levels to get an extra feature. Nissan is really smoking the competition when it comes to light duty and SUVs.

@@trhenryvlogs9638 I absolutely love the truck. Pro's are the power, 9 speed trans and being in 4lo is a damn billy goat lol. Climbs trails/mountains (Colorado) with ease. 17mpg for a big heavy off road truck is not horrible. The panoramic sunroof is nice for the whole family to stare up at the trails we're climbing or just cruising at night. The cons are that because of it being a pro-4x it does ride a little rough compared to a new f150 fx4. The adaptive cruise is a but touchy. It will get you back up to speed when the car in front moves over VERY quickly lol. Crash avoidance is a great feature though. Got 5600 miles on it. Will be adding a lot more this spring and summer. Oh I and I also love not having the same truck as everyone else!

The auto mirror adjustment when reversing can be turned off by simply turning the adjuster knob to the center setting rather than leaving it on right side mirror or left side. If you're going to climb rocks, you'll need to turn off the traction control, that's why it wouldn't keep backing up. The lack of lane departure correction is because it still has rack/pinion steering not computerized steering...which I prefer, though others may not.

@Tubewatcher501. You sir seem to know the Titan well as Ive been reading your comments👍 You dont happen to have a Titan youtube review do ya? Ive currently got a 2008 Nissan Frontier 4x4 crew cab long bed SE that I bought in 2013 with 60,000 on it. It now has 330,000 on it and its been the best most reliable truck ive ever owned. My previous truck was a 2001 Toyota Tundra 4.7 V8 Limited so I know a thing about reliable trucks. You think the Titan could live up to having a great reliability reputation? Thinking of maybe going for a Titan when my Frontier makes it to 400,000 as I might want a bit more work space and towing capability. But if the Titan can last, work, and play as hard as my frontier has then Ill just get another Frontier because I know the Frontier is an awesome truck.

My buddy has had his titan for about 2 years and put well over 160,000 mi on her and she's held up really well with zero issues. I'm not sure about the new 2021 models transmissions as they are have yet to be proven but the 7 spd is solid and like I said the interior has stayed intact. Mine is doing as well as any other Nissan truck I've ever owned, but I only have about 6000 mi on mine so far. For the value of the tag vs options and safety and performance, I couldn't be happier. Some down sides as stated in this video Camera quality does suck straight up. Pedal to tire has a slight lag.. so jumping onto pavement from dirt to catch a gap takes a little more patience, but when she goes she eats. Gas milage from Colo too Indy hauling 4k lbs avg us 16mpg doing 75-85 mph. Interior is the real selling point in my OP... love it. Cooled crotch feature is pretty well.. cool. The step in the back is really useful and the 120v in the bed is a beast for tool/ lights and useful off road and camping for sure. The body style is eye catching and honestly 13th on that list does not give this truck justice.... should be in the top 10 for sure. After a week of ownership I'm not super impressed, it's like Nissan built a great truck then turned everything down.
Sensors drive me nuts, lack of light switch in bed, like you putting foot to the floor and the truck refuses to move. How can you have that much power and not move. I feel like they neutered the power heavily in different scenarios. Nav or voice control is bottom of the list.
For pure value it's the better buy as long as you can handle not having full control and sub-par electronics.
IMO all issues can easily be fixed with just software updates.
I'm going to harp one more time on power. This truck should blow the tires off and without a doubt be a mid 6 second 0-60
They just killed the initial power.
