    Wait a minute I'm fixing to go do this so I watched this video and it never shows him unclogging anything, so I can take it a part but what about the unclogging???

      @@YiannisPagonis I have no problem taking something apart, I thought I was gonna learn what I needed to unclogg so that my daughter's Corolla would stop leaking water in the passenger floorboard, basically just wasted my time, maybe I misunderstood the thumbnail

      @@rick343 I got a car with that exact same issue, did you diagnose the problem? If so, what was it? I removed the floorboard carpet and trim and I located a plug on the floorboard. Wondering if that’s what’s leaking it’s always in the same spot where your right foot would be if you sit in the passenger seat.

      @@Illness.og. yeah I took all that apart for nothing,, turned out all that water sloshing around in the dash had a easy fix, I ran a flexible piece of metal wire up the condensation hose that goes through the passenger side hole in the floor right by the trans hump, when I pulled the wire out all the water came out of the hose, it's my daughter's car, and she hasn't had the problem since I unclogged it, just got to get something up in that hose and get it unclogged, hope that helps.

    I don’t quite understand what I just watched… I thought you were showing us how to unclog the windshield drain… I have water coming into the car passenger side floor area… I noticed you took everything apart and then on part two you put it back together… Where is the drain that is clogged?

    • @YiannisPagonis
      @YiannisPagonis  Před 2 lety +4

      The drains are located on each side behind the fenders, about the height of the top door hinge. You can get in there to see what's going on by removing the fender liner and the bolts that hold the rear lower section of the quarter panel in place. Clean out all the leaves at the bottom of the quarter panel while you are in there (that part should be yearly maintenance). You can also pop off the plastic covers at the base of the windshield and look/feel around in there for any debris.
