How to Clean a Car Cowl Panel | Prevent Rats from Car Cabin

Step 1: Remove the Large Pieces of Debris Manually
Use your hands to remove leaves and larger debris pieces including stones, sticks and other junk.
Step 2: Remove Smaller Pieces of Debris with a Vacuum or Blower
After removing the larger pieces of debris manually, use a blower or a vacuum to clean smaller bits on your cowl panel. Use a vacuum or blower to blow out the dust and debris from the fenders, grille and other areas around the hood.
Step 3: Clean Air Ducts and Cowl Drains
The car cowl panel drains and air ducts can collect dust and debris. This restricts the airflow, use a garden hose to clean these parts effectively. The water pressure from your garden hose helps clean all the dirt trapped inside.
Step 4: Use a Brush to Clean Stubborn Dirt
Because the car cowl panel is in the vehicle’s front, it will accumulate dirt. Using a brush helps scrub the dirt away.
Step 5: Wipe the Cowl Panel
After all the cleaning is done, wiping the car cowl and letting it air dry will help make the car cowl panel as shiny as possible.
