Not sure why all the dislikes, the video was very helpful. Maybe a bit to drawn out haha, but shows the job done all the way through very well. Thank you for your help- will assist me changing my own wiper arms soon.

If the wiper arm is stuck after removing the nut? Start the engine and turn the wipers on. The arm will throw itself off the spindle

I heated the arm/spline with a heat gun set on medium for 1 minute. Then I reinstalled the nut 4 turns, then I hit the nut with a hammer. The nut is cheap and replaceable, but the stud is not. I didn't need to mark the correct position; my windshield was dirty, and the dirt marked the proper reinstallation position.

May i know which "arm" is longer? I had windshield changed and looks like they installed wiper arm incorrectly

Not to hammer direct to the bolt head end that it will damage the thread end, put the nut back onto its end with slack then hit it if required

I have a 2004 corolla hatchback. Trying to find new front wiper arms but struggling will the verso model wiper blades fit or are they different? Or what other wiper arms will definitely fit i need the whole arm as vandals broke them off from the nut
