    That left thumb takes a beating! Hope you’re alright! I stop counting the scars and still amazed I haven’t cut it off yet.

      I've lost track of the scars.. You'd think a knife maker would know how to handle a blade haha

    Brad, how freaking cool is that. Couple things, those pins though lol. My wife asked what I was laughing out loud at. And “will it kill”???

    What’s going to stop the blade from rotating backwards when you hit it on something? I didn’t notice a stop.

    • @RichardsonForge
      @RichardsonForge  Před 5 lety

      I can't seem to push it through at all, there's a lot of friction in the joint. Also, the tang fits within the hand when gripping the handle which would most likely prevent movement. I guess we'll find out when I film a testing video!

    Awesome three hour folding sword! I respect your quest to get better and better, but a good competitor never has to redeem himself, and you are a very good competitor. That said, I enjoyed this vid as much as watching FiF. I'd also love to see what kind of a folding sword you could make in three chill days flexing all your skills and knowledge.

    You did a great job young man. I’m impressed.

    Mannn, you definitely could have etched the hamon line if it wasn't for the time taken to talk to the camera lol and also I cringed when you went to sharpen the edge and with a slack belt spinning right there you did not do a convex edge on her for added edge stability lol can't wait to see this beast in action, hacking some coconuts and chopping thru a 2x6 maybe and after all of the strength testing see if it will still cleanly slice paper!
