Next: axe throwing
Forged in fire 🔥.
I think you should keep this way of competing on your show permanent it gives the person a far chance to come back.
Great show 👏 👍
10:03 I think Santa’s hair is on fire
I mean they have the disadvantage, you don't mess with a dwarf in a forge, ever.
leonaidas came close
😂😂😂😂
That mans stuff was awesome
Who cares how tall he is
@@tomlawrence3991 it's a joke ffs
@@tomlawrence3991 ffs, take a joke.
"I want them to be heavy"
Well buddy, you had a good run.
It seems the majority of the downfall these people have is when they make things to heavy.
Yeah that "thunk" he wants to hear will be the sound of him putting them down when he surrenders them
6:45 He's going to think about it every time he goes to sleep for the rest of his life.
I notice that too
It's all downhill from that point.
Getting a fist bump ignored on TV.
😂😂😂😂
3:22 “I realize that they’re real heavy. I want em heavy.” Those are the words of a blacksmith who’s gonna be told to surrender his blades and leave the forge.
Yes
Of course Chad has the most points
Yes
The tarkov community supports this comment 😂
I'm your 100°like
I don’t like him he didn’t give Gary a fist pump
He’s a real dwarf
I love how none of the contestants are dismayed by their loss and just see it as an opportunity to improve their work in the future. It's awesome when someone ups their game and comes back for the win.
6:45 Rumor has it... that guy is still left hanging to this day...
Glad im not the only one that saw that 😂
I thought that was a nudge to say "well done mate"
I like this point format, lets the contestants have a second chance to really prove they can forge well. Eliminates a bit of the bad luck factor of only having one chance.
I like it, too.
It amuses me that the smallest guy is called Chad.
Chadlet
To be fair, he still owned.
My mum yells at me when I throw the throwing knife I made at the fence.
1:23 "I designed kind of a throwing knife" hhhhmmmmm reaaaalllyyyy???
*doubting Dave's throwing accuracy when suddenly---*
8:17
I think the beard makes you a better forger
Any Contestant: "I wanna make this real pretty for the judges"
Forged in Fire Fanbase: 0:40 - 0:43
Very underrated comment
Imagine getting mad at the judges and hearing:
"We will kill!!!!!"
8:13 "keeeel shot"
New idea for when contestants lose and have to leave:
"Alright Gene I'm going to have to ask you to surrender your knife, surrender your life, and leave the forge.
Permanently."
Great job Chad everyone in the oil patch is routing for you
Dave is the man I aspire to be at that age
Not a bad job ,)
Have you ever tried forging or are you just a thrower.
Hello
My man Adam! 🤟
Hello my friend
They should have had u as a guest ngl
master chef vibes
I like the point system. Allows the judges to make more competent decision making and the second place to be acknowledged for the effort they put forth.
Doesn't it sound at 6:13 that they inserted a voice-over of the judge on top of the other audio? Got you, video editors of FIF!
The ones who choose to add weight to their knives get it. Heavy knives allow for better control over spin...no spin or spin. Better distance too.
Heavy knives do allow for better control but they're also good for covering bad technical skill where as a lighter blade is far less forgiving of poor throwing technique. But a lighter blade, providing you have technical aspect of throwing down, is deadlier in that it is reactive, quicker, and usually has a finer edge.
While I didn't get the best look at the blades I find it interesting the style they all seemed to go for. Personally I prefer the leaf shape myself as I find it easier to switch between spin or straight throw if both sides of the blade are exactly they same. Especially if I'm moving or havebto contend with weather.
@@Kitsune1989 Can u recomend me a good set of trowing knifes? i bought my frist recently, and got in love with knife trowing, but its kinda low budget that i bought only to see if is something i really want to do.. i made my mind... yes i want.. now i want something better.
Chad looks like Fix It Felix from Wreck It Ralph
That height difference was even interesting that the testing 😂
You are a good guy
I thought the little guy was wearing scrubs when I first seen him lol.
wow! never knew leonaidas is making his own weapons!
Call me crazy but this episode is brighter than other episodes
Damascus challenge? They all lose then 🤣
THONK
I have significant experience throwing knives... The heavier the better!!!
IT WILL KEAALLLL😂❤️I wanted to see doug using it 💔😍
Hold the hammer at the end for a harder bang, and because that is the CORRECT way to hit with a hammer
At the end i mean towards the back of handle, friendly advice from a boilermaker and not a bladesmith,i think ill do average on the show, great job guys, its seems to be quite an art as compared to my trade
The press never ends well with Damascus
I'm shocked that no one made Kuni I think they would be better to throw
Maybe you can forge the Mandau which use by Dayak people in Kalimantan (Borneo) island in Indonesia. Forged in fire is my best favorite tv program. Kindly regards
cool
G'day people
Bellaaaa
Part 2?
You know, I was always under the impression that the best steel to use for throwing knives was unhardened, mild steel, because its soft build/structure allowed it to better absorb the force of repeated impacts against hard surfaces. Unhardened steel will bend and deform, but it won't snap.
I would love to have those knifes

@@neorainz7313 i corrected someone lol. Public school education at work.
Poor guy dude
⚔️
3 Hours is pretty rough... Metal takes a while to heat.
For once i want to see the battle between the judge.... and the judge will be the last champion
I hate that Weight is always such a deciding factor. It's a subjective statistic. you can get a bowling ball anywhere from 6 to 16 pounds
Why does Matt looks like GigaChad 1:35 ?
F for gary
Gerard Butler sharpening his skills as a blacksmith during quarantine.
that goblin is so... bad hahaha
i love this
Hi! We’re glad you enjoyed the clip! Thanks for being a #ForgedInFire fan!
@@HISTORY awesome
Am I the only one who thought the winning, single edged knives are a prarcord wrap away from being decent fighters as well as throwers?
It might be dumb, but it’s not Damascus. It’s pattern welded steel. No one knows what Damascus actually was.
Pattern welded steel is infact Damascus steel in modern english. Your thinking of the original Damascus steel which is now called Wootz, bulat or crucible steel
A couple of decades ago, I was really good at throwing knives. Me and a friend would do it every weekend and make challenges for each other at different ranges. The trick was to learn how your blade spun when thrown and you had to be consistent with the way you threw
Can I be the target next time?
"And that means what?... Damas" WRONG! It´s proper term is Pattern welded. Tecnicly only a pattern welded blade can be called Damaskus if it was made in the city of Damascus.
Chad is the least Chad looking Chad
Feels nice seeing the host not constantly rubbing his hands together! 😂
Why would you want your throwing knives to be heavy? Its literally a thing that needs to be light in order to serve its purpose
👍
It will not keeel?
"Thunk"
The guy who aims for a heavy blade has probably never watched the show
Damask iron is one of the most beautiful and strongest types of iron if it was weighed by a professional
My favorite part is when they test the blades...
That guy is a small man.
I know the meme about how heavy blades often fail but I still cringed HARD when he said he WANTED his throwing knifes to be heavy... Has he ever watched the show? ^^
Was this filmed in 2020
Yes

Just think what will happen ? if all the four judges are trapped in the Forge between an Zombie apocalypse! 😅😤😲
Why they are sharp.. Throwing Knifes need only a Tip.
I am a big fan and please tell Ben abbot that he inspired me to learn how to be a

they should have gotten someone adept at throwing knives, just it being a throwing knife doesn't mean you can throw em like a pro
00:41 : Let's play, guess who is actually closest to 5'10?
bogus what happened to gene he seemed like a cool dude
chad, more like charlie day
Why hasent the it will keel become a meme
I hope he also learned that heat-treating your knife before ever made the shape does not guarantee a hard edge...
For everbody who is listen 🗣🗣 dont giv up we in this together🤜🏾🤛🏾 i pray if yall wanna be CZcamsrs like or Great dont give up 💛
Huh?
Thank you!!
I really wish they'd stop calling pattern wielded steel Damascus...
The true crafters of Damascus steel managed to incorporate carbon nanotubes into their metal, hundreds of years before we knew what carbon nanotubes were.
So calling pattern wielded steel Damascus, does the original smiths a disservice.
Wow... Did gerard butler gained weight?
Wuachoco
Of course the dwarf won
there should be spring, summer, fall & winter games year round until the fall of democracy as we know it.
Wtf happened to his voice at 6:12 ??
The sound editors seem to add things in that will "fit". Meaning that the judge didn't say that at all but an editor recorded it himself and put it in there. Maybe - I don't know.
It's really strange and they do it all the time in this show whatever it is that they do.
Little one fairy.. always the quiet ones so im told
nice job.. guyz who wont to be frands
The abandoned cloud certainly stare because fight wessely moor besides a disgusting rocket. various, callous rake

0:30 that's wootz steel not Damascus. Damascus is A wootz made in a particular way that forms carbon nano tubes in the blade. Stop called every blade with wave pattern in the steel Damascus
Nah it's Damascus aka pattern welded steel. Wootz is just the Indian word for crucible steel which was the original "Damascus steel" however language has changed and you need to get with the times.
not damascus but pattern welded. true damascus has a finer more subtle pattern.
Nah it's Damascus which is the same thing as pattern welded steel. Your thinking of Wootz bulat or crucible steel which is the original Damascus steel.
