Hi
@@d9ni6l hi
Hello
Greetings
how are you fellas?
Can we just appreciate how beautiful Jared's Hunga Munga is? Not to mention the way he drew the sketch of the blade...
Agreed
The finished product was a beautiful piece. Elegant and deadly, I'm no fighter, nor am I an expert on such weapons, but I can appreciate a thing of lethal beauty when it is made.
Its an absolute MasterPiece
His hunga munga was super stunning
I appreciate how Jared dressed up for the occasion.
Jared's weapon is Exquisite....He's in a league of his own. Well Done!
Sasta Khan variety
We’re you Expecting a clap 👏
We want you to recreate this weapon from history
“German Tank”
Well see you in 5 days. Goodluck
Your weapon of mass destruction did not make the cut please leave the hangar
Well every facet of your tank will do damage. When aimed correctly your Panzer completely evaporated our test dummies. This sir, will kill!
Now one thingI don’t like is that your weapon is heavy this beast almost weighs 68 tons
You will make this unique weapon of history in your home forges
We want you to create
A lightsaber from Star Wars
See you in 5 days, good luck.
Jared's blade was one of the best I've seen on this show..
Not one of the best
It's the best
It's overated
it really was gorgeous. i don’t think I’ve even seen someone else do a cord wrap in the handle either, really shows his knowledge
Eric's weapon looks like a 8-bit version of Jared's
couldnt have been said better
Lol
Lol yes
Jared's weapon is like the $500 cold steel replica, while Eric's looks like the $50 tactical machette version from cold steel.
I figured it didn't load in after a cut scene.
*Hunga munga exists
Me: (confused unga bunga)
twoset violin?
I see you're a Crash Bandicoot fan
*UNGA BUNGA!!!!!*
😂
I really was trying hard to make an unga bunga joke but I just couldn't
Bro imagine how sick the African Smith's who created this weapon originally must have been to forge out this shape without mechanical assistance
It probably seems difficult to us, but many of these weapons are constructed from already existing farming tools.
Lol they used molds and just poured the metal in
@@Gygsdthey did not infact even with bronze, molding was more of a Eurasia technique as far as weapons and it was almost completely unheard of to form iron or steel weapons through molding in Africa, just jewelry
@@patronofdebaucheryandviolenceExactly
Look up Benin bronzes and Ife art for examples African metalworking.
I had a hunch Jared was going to win with how diligently he planned out the piece. He worked out each bend and had a really nice sketch as well.
Gotta give Eric credit: he made a unique blade that was, overall, effective. He kept getting worried that it was going to break, but it held up and the judges admitted that it was a nice creation. He just didn't sharpen it properly. Good call on the judges' part, but I think Eric deserves the shoutout.
You have to give credit to the other dude Eric. Although even before they started doing the tests he was already utterly defeated, he never bummed out and kept going through the test with an optimistic attitude. You gotta respect that.
I’m no blacksmith but it’s definitely not a straightforward weapon to make with all the different blade shapes protruding out like a tree
You know your weapon is good when the judges all say "Nice" in unison watching it be used
8:52 I thought he was about to say 'really happy that the judge nicked himself"
lmao
Clearly the blade will cut
It's awesome to see how humble these guys are when being judged. Definitely some serious sportsmanship in this show.
Throwing that beauty is like watching the devil roll dice, whatever it lands on its gonna hurt.
It won’t hurt they’ll be dead too quickly. 😏
Max Geiger FROM Deadliest Warriors Said that when they were testing out an African weapon called the Kpinga
Jared's blade is night and day to his competitor. This is proof that if you put time and effort into something, it'll be a great weapon. The other weapon did it's job for the most part but it looked incomplete if you ask me in comparison to Jared's.
It looked horribly rushed, the potential was there, but the other guy didn't tap into it
4:02 did he burned his chest hairs
Probably tried and failed to shave them
Chief: “I want a sickle, a spearhead, throw in a few spikes and hooks in there as well. I want to use like a axe, but it also handles like a knife. I should be able to trap weapons with it. Oh yea and I want to throw it too.”
Bladesmith: “………………………….”
Bladesmith: "hunga munga"
@@jddeats lmao 🤣💀
This weapons sounds and looks like a child made it, just blades everywhere
Yep, African children made it and play with it, sometime they lose an eye when having fun!
Imagine dying from weapon named hunga munga
@@kuching.sniper2792 lmao
Kylo Ren: MORE!
It reminds me of the kylo ren meme where the saber just keeps splitting into a christmas tree.
Imagine training for years in battle just to be killed by a weapon called the "Hunga Munga"
Jared's blade was functional art. 😍
blade: *cuts and kills*
*happy swordsmith noises*
That was a helluva compliment from Jason Knight. I would be more honored by his compliment than the ten grand. And that is one very well made and perfectly executed blades.
Swiss Army Knife: "I can be anything you want me to be"
Hunga Munga: "How bout dead! Can you do that?"
Literally a thing of beauty right there. It looked so good and performed very well
And some people believe Africans never made art or had metallurgy or culture.
They’re talking about Jared’s blade, but I agree with you as well.
@@hainleysimpson1507 Whoever truly believes that has no clue what Africa is. It is quite literally the heart of the world! ❤
@@hainleysimpson1507 Africans made many great blades but they didn't make much armor
@@129das yeah because their environment was way too hot for heavy armors. They used leather and such. Even foreign invaders had a hard time in Africa due to the climate. It wasn't until the invention of the gatlin gun and heavy artillery that Africa was conquered
Jared poured his heart and soul into that weapon

Mr. Jared my respect to your blade-smith talent, you made a jaw dropping piece cheers mate
jared’s hunga munga looks like it would be the display model. perfect job
اللهم إن في القدس أبطال فاحفظهم وثبت أقدامهم 🇵🇸 وإن في غزة جيوشا فسدد رميهم وانصرهم نصرا عزيزا ❤
this would be such a sick weapon in assassins creed man
I think forged in fire on CZcams is my favorite thing to ever watch... im always finding myself waiting for the next video to release on this channel
The weapon's design is sooo unrealistically similar to the map of Africa!!😯
Jared ....Man! You have actually surpassed original Hunga Munga blade🔥🔥🔥.
He made a way more beautiful weapon than the one that judges have, wow 👌😍
was anyone else like, dudes gonna cut himself with the second weapons grip spike on the throwing portion?
Cellion : That could be an unspoken factor in why Eric lost. The weapon shouldn't be such a danger to the weirder.
I am curious if they will *KEEL*
Edit: I am pretty stunned by these great weapons
I’m 2nd tho😅
@@Alijahalexander8274 No problem!
Dip the Tip of the Sicle in faeces or other Toxins then yeah, i don't believe Tribes have ready access to Poison.
@@MegaDuckmonster sure they do haven't you ever heard of poison darts or Spears they get the poison off of The Backs of toads or Lizards
Standard HEAT that's a good question evidently this episode the weapons only kill they don't keel this time
Wasnt the blade outlawed in africa? And its abilty to hit and and bounce over shields, hits the man behind is pretty scary.
@Admire Kashiri ill have to double check but i think a bunch of african kings agreed not to use it because of how deadly it is.
Can we all appreciate just how great this show is. one if the few entertaining tv shows left. Anyone else got any recommendations for fun tv shows to watch like this?
Well done, Jerad!
Jared's weapon is a piece of art, impressive how he did that in only 5 days
Great job to both! Well done!
Jared dedication very impressive.
Imagine how skilled the blacksmiths were that made this sword. If they both teamed up to make a sword…holy. It’ll be a thing of beauty
Jared's hunga munga is the picture I wanted to draw and Eric's hunga munga is what I ended up with
1:53 I'm pretty sure he's beyond fckn stoned 😭
Eric said "Can only go up from here" after he lost, but like, he can totally go down if hes not lucky lmao
Once I saw Jareds sketch I just knew he was gonna win. That is one of the nicest weapons I've seen on this show.
That’s a rad looking weapon! Cool name, too. I remember them saying that name in passing on Buffy. Way cool.
Both have done a amazing job
Eric did great, good job Eric
The Design was solid
The marbele only a selected few were ever skilled with this weapon, the more curves and blades it had the more important or skilled the person was that use this beauty
I’m hyped I can watch some full episodes on Netflix now!!!!!
Jared made a true work of art in only 5 days. One of the best made weapons ever on this show.
I'we been watching these videos a lot lately as I've been home sick and it seems the better looking weapon almost always also performs better, as in this case. Of course the looks and finish tell a lot about the skill and craftsmanship of the maker so a person capable of making a good looking blade probably is also capable of making a well performing one.
4.08 judges mimcry It will Stick 😂😂
When a judge says it's so cool that he wants it...you know you done did good. 👍
That’s a wicked design!!!
Eric's blade: cannot render in properly
Jared's blade: max graphics
8:49 judge cuts his arm
Jared: rEaLlY hApPy WiTh My DeSiGn
Jared's edge was his respect for the weapon.
Jared's blade is work of art. Dude draw the blade on piece of steel he forged and even found time to decorate it.
For a minuet i thought this was another name for the "Kpinga" ! Great weapons, love them !!
Great show too !!
I'm a sucker for good sportsmanship, well done sir
I love how the judges got excited muttering amongst themselves while the weapons were being tested.
I like when they have them make more unusual weapons like this instead of just swords
While the sharp pommel on the second guy’s knife certainly makes it more tricky to wield as a hand to hand combat weapon, it almost doubles the chances of dealing damage when thrown. Overall I would say it’s not a design flaw, but is merely specialized towards a different purpose.
Ooga booga was invincible weilding this back in the day
Jered did amazing with that design
Ha pero estos dos son profesionales de verdad, hermosas quedaron
Jared's hunga munga excels ..
these blades are like you vs the guy she tells you not to worry about
IT WILL STICK
Good job,,,,,,
Where do they find those, iconic, weapons, is there a list xD?
Its amazing what they always pull up
The weapons they display that the contestants have to recreate are all created by Dave baker. The judge with the white beard
Looks like something a klingon would carry
I love the Hunga Munga!
The name itself sounds deadly
Nice done dafoe
Jared made a DnD artifact weapon, it's beautiful
You know when you forget you had a project and hurry it in the night before and end up just doing the bare minimum? that's how Eric's sword looks like.
At 6:21 when you see them side by side is almost awkward.
My man smiled all the way thrue
hey, this isn't Rambo's or John Wick's knife ..... it's Buffy's blade ....🤣🤣🤣
Yeah. This show is reminding me to include more African blades into my dark fantasy novel.
The Hunga Munga, if made from steel, will actually penetrate armor. All a character would need is two of them. One to throw and one to keep.
The fact that this is the official name is great
Jared - Runescape 3 version
Eric - Old School Runescape version
4:48 Ah yes!! NNN drives me crazy
Why did Eric hug jarod at the end haha. Jarod was obviously looking for a hand shake
I always wondered..how does that quenching work?
If you let Steel cool slowly, the carbon and iron rearrange themselves in a uniform pattern which makes steel soft. If you suddenly cool Hot steel in oil or water, carbon gets trapped between the iron atoms and forms irregular grain/pattern which makes it hard.
Results will make the steel hard and brittle; reheating [tempering]the steel will release some stress, ideally, to a springy steel type. Tough enough to take beating, hard enough to keep a sharp edge.
Jared's blade looks beautiful
So cool
for me there was a winner just at the beginning, he did rly nice job
I want to play with Buffy's Hanga Manga!
"It will steeek" 😂💀
Not only is it a winner but now it has also tasted real blood.
10k for that piece of art sounds like Jared got robbed tbh.
Exquisite work.
