Btw if you guys didnt know Sam has a second channel called Sam O'Nella Vlogs which he use to post videos about other topics, the most recent one was 2 months ago where talks about the ambiguity of item effects in the rougelike genre

For context for non 90-00’s kids or who never watched Hey Arnold this came from the episode Helga’s Parrot when Helga was talking to a shrine made for Arnold who she “hates” but secretly loves from the shadows. As you can imagine the parrot heard this and well watch the episode it’s funny. It’s one of those phrases you would never hear in a cartoon produced today.

I find it absolutely hilarious and telling that Andrew Johnson, typically seen as one of the absolute worst presidents we've ever had by a wide margin (he took over after Lincolns death, was a racist drunk asshole who nuked all hope of civil rights, reconstruction & healing and caused the next century of segregation) didn't have a pet, as well as Trump, who recently overtook him as the worst president to historians by all metrics, from now on pet free presidents should be a huge red flag..alongside all the authoritarianism and xenophobia haha
Polk being the third is the exception, he is typically remembered as a successful president especially compared to those two. No massive racial crisis post civil war or attempted coups

I started watching Sam when he started almost 8 years when I was 10 years old. Growing up hearing “hey kids” while rewatching every video waiting for another one. Now I’m ready to graduate high school and he hits me with the “hey adults” time really does fly.

out of everything I've seen from Sam O'Nella, he still manages to punch me in the nuts with surprises like the horror of witnessing Kennedy's face in Sam's art style
Don't forget the art that are those framed pictures in Kennedy's oval office
i haven't watched it yet but seeing JACKIE would truly be horrfic but it feels like her human form would actually fit in seamlessly with his art style
The sheer shock/happiness I felt when I saw the new vid was almost immediately combatted with the disgruntle I felt when I was greeted as an adult.

man this is what we call consistency. it was only after watching this video did i go back and realise that most of the videos i had watched from this channel were uploaded 7 years ago. i genuinely could not tell the difference. like at all.
Was listening to classical music and bradenburg no. 4 came on and reminded me to check the channel
I can't help but notice how Sam's older artistry was disturbing often because of it's low quality that attempted to compensate by over-detailing things.
Now that he's gotten legitimately better at art, he can amplify that disturbing factor by at least 150%, since he knows exactly what to exaggerate and what to keep simplistic to guarantee his art stays in the uncanny valley all of the time instead of ending up with something creepy only by happenstance.

The intro change is both character development for not just Sam, but also us as well. The Sam O’Nella Academy has taught us well.
eating too many oats is genuinely dangerous to ruminants. I once had my sheep break free and one of the sheep ate like 10 lbs of grains and died of bloat within a few hours. Ruminants (at least in captivity) really do walk a fine line between life and death despite looking so big and tough.

It probably deserves its own video, but the U.S. president with the most pets was Roosevelt, who owned 48 pets. Some of his more exotic pets include a black bear, a hyena, a blue macaw, and a one-legged rooster. My personal favorite Roosevelt pet is Josiah the badger, who was fondly carried around by Theodore's son Archie. Josiah was described as having a short temper, but with a fundamentally friendly nature.
