Everton narrowly avoided the embarrassment, and potential financial disaster, of relegation to the Championship last season. Their manager Frank Lampard has promised a move away from pragmatic football, to a more possessionally dominant style. So who could they buy that would help them play that style?

Everton doesn’t do sensible transfers, they just get the players that people forgot existed 4 years ago.
Lol 😂
Kind of true, I'm an evertonian..
@@thoughtmachine6176 How Could You???
And paid enormous money and wage to that kind of player.
This made me laugh, it does ring true
Unfortunately Everton's recruitment doesn't have the capacity to think sensibly
They are probably going down.
@@lijomathew8373 nah
No club needs this more than Everton
the "play style shift" will last until the moment it hits a bump in the road, then Frank will say the players are all letting him down & go back to basics.
He’s never succeeded in a job where he had one of the most talented squads, so why are we expecting him to succeed when he’s forced to play Alex Iwobi vs PL quality fullbacks😭
@@thomasmeier4399 he has transformed Iwobi and he doesn't play as a winger. Try again
they will let him down because they are bad footballers.
@@18CDNSNO78 I'll try again
Alex Iwobi is still Alex Iwobi....🤦🏽♂️
@@Daniel-ro8tq if you had watched him at all from January onwards you'd know he was key in Everton staying up. You think he is a winger so you clearly have not 🥴
I know he wasn't the final pick but Ruben Loftus-Cheek just strikes me as a typically Everton signing. A player down the pecking order at Chelsea who was once highly in demand.
Offers strength and a good presence in that midfield to build from.
Ceballos would be the better option but affordability has to be taken into account.
RLC strikes me as the more realistic and pragmatic signing.
Same, but with a negative spin. The type of unambitious signing recruited due to PL minutes who is extremely weak when actually put to the test. More an Iwobi than a Richarlison.
@@bens4602 a fair take tbh. I don't see him as a flop but certainly nothing to get excited about. A workhorse who may play the odd blinder a handful of times a year.
imagine everton took a sudden turn and signed Renato Sanches instead.
gotta agree with Tifo here, ceballos is the best option, he can be gotten on the cheap too as madrid are currently offloading excess players to make room on the books after that mbappe mess. pretty sure madrid will sell him for about 30m seeing as they just bought tchouameni
Glad you did this one. We’re a mess!
Great isn’t it 🤣
I look forward to seeing us do the exact opposite of sensible transfers before the window shuts
Boy, nothing saves Everton this season. They are my favourite to go down... shame, but true. Dele Alli transfer sums it up perfectly. They are lunatics.
When Fulham or Norwich is in the league, you are never the favorite to go down
@@lucaslonchampt613 Norwich aren’t so Everton are taking the relegation place
Everton > Leeds, Fulham, Bournemoth, nottingham
I'm not exactly optimistic but I think it's dumb to say it's a foregone conclusion
@@christianopulinaldo8319 From calling themselves rival of liverpool to beefing with newly promoted and relegation fight club, how far have everton fall
I think we dodged a bullet not having Usmanov take full control of Arsenal. Sad state of affairs what's happening at Everton.
No one could foresee Putins invasion. Had that not have happened; this wouldn’t not be as messy.
You put Holgate in your starting line-up 😳
You didn't put Godfrey in it 😳😳
Or Mina
Seems like gossip & conjecture aren't the only things Tifo doesn't pay attention to
@@R.C.M.. well he’s linked with leaving and only played 13 league games last season
I'm an American PL fan that watched Everton get thrashed by Minnesota United last week and I have to say the youngsters were the only decent players on the pitch: mykolenko, Gordon and Gray. The rest was shambles
The motion graphics/animation on Tifo videos is always great, but this is superb! Putting player cards in 3D space on the field really makes it feel immersive. SO impressive!
Tifo: sensible transfer?
Everton: we don't do it here
As a chelsea fan I would love if we loaned some players over there, at least 2-3 just to help Frank only for this season. I have a feeling Everton will have to rely on loans to help them stay up this season. They need to get moving soon, or they’ll get left behind. It’s sad
Teams can only loan 1 player at a time from another premier league team and can only register 2 at the same time per season
@@userjim83 thought Southampton had both Livramento and Broja from Chelsea last year?
@@jimkeane livra was signed permanently
@@jimkeane Livaramento was signed permanently for 5M with buy back option of 25M
Funny how you lot are worse than them this season
RLC would be a beautiful midfielder for them. I'm a Chelsea fan, really love him but gametime in his best position (8) rarely comes by. Hopefully that improves.
Just discovered the channel through Zealand’s video and god damn isn’t this one of the best transfer related videos I’ve ever seen! I was needing this type of content without even knowing! Mad respect for y’all!
Thank you so much for suggesting Okafor. I’ve been talking about us signing him for the last 12 months. Unreal talent.
Love the new on pitch XI animations! Shoutout to the editor!
These videos are brilliant. I watched all of this even as a Newcastle fan 👏
As an everton fan I've been waiting for this one for a while. Good video 👍🏻
Ruben Loftus Cheek won't move away from London. He's refused every loan to clubs outside London. I know they preface this video to say they're only dealing with on field play but thought I'd mention this.
Wonder if he'll go to brentford or fulham.
not welcome back at fulham if i got to decide, last loan was woeful
Was waiting for this one, we're gonna need more than 2 players though!
I think Ceballos in this system would be really good
Finally, thank you for this video
Some nice outside the box names mentioned here. Hopefully we can talk Ancelotti into giving us a deal for Ceballos, he owes us one.
Everton only sign players that are 80-83 rated on fifa
They're holding out for the Messi and Ronaldo regens ha ha
Been waiting for this
OHHH MMYYY GOOOODDDD YEEEESSS!!!
I've been waiting for this!!
The words Everton and Sensible Transfer don't really go together! 🙄
Love these shows
This video should be longer as Everton need so many players mainly attackers and pretty much a whole midfield
Good lord I love these thumbnails!
I thought Everton signing Cornet as their Richarlison replacement would be the most obvious transfer of the window. Surprised it hasn’t happened thus far.
Can't afford to pay the 17.5m straight up
Unfortunately Everton will use this video to know what players not to sign
Thxs for this video
One of things I like about the transfers for the midfield is they are kinda conceivably what Everton would do (sign a player who wasn't necessarily top of the roster at a better PL club), just probably a little more of a sensible deal than Alex Iwobi
I think Sarabia (loan) would be a good signing and then support this with hard working youth players from the elite teams in minor leagues. Like the Danish and Austrian league. Just copy Brentford essentially
Sarabia os an incredible player but last year he played alot of champions League football. He can be picky choosing his team.
You can’t copy Brentford if you don’t know how they scout. Simply looking at the same leagues is daft
@@glennb6020 yeah for sure, but that's why Everton will always be terrible.
The Everton board have been waiting for this one lmao
I think Dwight McNeil was a nice addition to the squad. Always showed some skills to play in a different system, and I’m excited to see him playing on a possession based style. For me, it’s a matter of time for him to become a starter.
Oh God Thank you tifo
Where are the goals going to come from on this team?
Sensible transfers: Everton:
Number 1: New owner……….
Gotta feel for a man losing 500m on the advice of people around him
@@deanbrown29 As an Everton fan I have absolutely no sympathy for him at all the best thing that could happen is he goes under a bus. He has run the into the ground, we have the 2nd highest paid board in EPL & one of the most inexperienced. He backs Rafa and sells one of our best players for not a lot of money and then changes his mind and sacks him a few days later and doesn't listen or give good people the chance to do their jobs like Marcel Brands when we had him.
I often wonder if any scouts use these videos to help their own clubs
Same
Can you guys make a sensible tactics series maybe for teams looking for new managers or who are struggling w tactics
Patterson in the line up at the end lol
Currently watching Rangers vs PSV in the CL play off first leg. Ibrahim Sangare has just scored for Eindhoven.
I’m surprised Ryan Kent wasn’t an option for Richarlison’s replacement
Make a transfer video on man city keft back options....its creating a lot of turnoiling excitement and nervousness for city fans as all aspects for the cityzens are covered
That Tarkowski stuff was shocking, Mee was the ball player in that back line.
Umm no, it’s just the opposite
Please do Sevilla! What an interesting club in a squad shift right now
Thank you!😁😁😁
How about houssem aouar as a shout for central midfield? His contract is also close to expiring and has shown his pedigree in Ligue 1.
These proposed transfers have been pretty awful this time tifo, cabellos was that lazy at arsenal they didnt want to keep him... and that was in a midfield with players like xhaka. Marmoush who hasn't played in a top or even middle bundes league side yet ... these are definitely Everton transfers but they definitely arn't good ones.
Would love to see one for Wolverhampton right now we’ve only really brought in Nathan Collins and just lost Raul for a decent chunk of time
Has this been forwarded to Frank & co as the chequebook has been closed all year
Ultimately, it doesn't really matter whether they sign players to fit the new system, because when Lampard inevitably gets sacked, the new manager will bring in a new system.
i'd rather have bourigeaud for the ceballos position and terrier for the okafor position. We have been linked to both recently. Marmoush is also nowhere near the quality of richarlison
Everton Fans don't care about the football style, honestly not being in a relegation scrap this year would be a result.
Can you do Leicester?
We haven't even dipped our toes into the water yet, even fictional transfer news is better than nothing at this point
Brereton Diaz, Sandor Berge, Lovro Majer and Julian Draxler
Please buy Draxler
Any Lionesses content? They are playing so well and deserve some insight
We need midfielders and another forward
They should buy 3 no. 10s. Worked out really well the last time.
😂😂😂😂
I only see two possibilities for them: either they're relegated this year, or Lampard's Premier League career is over, and Poch returns.
Poch? No way
Poch waiting for Villa or Newcastle
@@199019852007 I don’t think he would even take a job that low, chelsea or a European team I’d imagine
Poch wouldn't go that low
@@naedot.9779 because porch is so good
Genuinely going down
I think you guys really scrapped the barrel with tarkowski being a position footballer 🤣
I thought you’d say a midfielder like Isco. He’s very good
Being an Everton fan I seriously doubt we sign any of these, but I’d really like Okafor stood out for Salzburg in the champions league last season and would be my choice as a richarlison replacement
I just can't see how any madrid player within a mile of their squad wanting to move to the merseyside team that almost got relegated 3 months ago? Then again, i suppose they did bag James Rodriguez
Can you do one for the Villa pleaseeee
Surprised Gilmour wasn’t even mentioned considering the Chelsea link and the fact that he’d be a good addition but Ceballos isn’t a bad suggestion albeit very unlikely
He stats show Gilmour is not a good option
@@mattg5878 he played for Norwich ffs, ofc the stats are gonna be bad😂
and he knows what its like to be relegated so he'd be perfect
As a Watford fan I'm very surprised Emmanuel Dennis wasn't included in this list. Having seen both Richarlison & Dennis for Watford I think he'd be a perfect replacement for him, if not even better, as I think he can achieve higher goal numbers. Can play on both wings and as a striker. But hopefully he stays !
they should have some money now after selling richarlison. I hope they bounce back and lamps does well.
tarkowski is definitely a great signing that will help them a lot
2:17 Pedantic note: it's "fifty nine point one one" not "fifty nine point eleven". Saying it as point eleven makes .11 sound like it's more that .9
Thank you Tifo, take a look at this pls Moshiri
Marmoush is a great player, would love to see him in the PL
Will go to Brentford, but a fantastic player tbh.
Need more sensible transfers on other teams
I really thought they would say Gakpo for a replacement.
Has the person that drew Richarlison actually ever seen Richarlison by chance?
6:17 where's Godfrey in the line-up
If I was any player, there's absolutely no chance I'd go to Everton.
From the outside looking in, it looks like a very toxic and turbulent environment.
Waiting on Man City, Rangers, wishful thinking but would love to see a Hearts video! ❤️🇱🇻
Why do Man City need a video?
@@U_C_G I did think that. But, why would Real in that case? Or Liverpool?
@@arrinmixon5190 In fairness the Real video was rubbish with just one suggestion they couldn't even register if they signed, and Liverpool need SOME depth management and outgoings, but these videos work best for teams in development
@@U_C_G fair enough. But, in reality they’re doing top teams for a bigger audience. I’d be interested to see who they suggest as depth for city after selling depth? Kind of 😂
Why not Mina and Godfrey over Keane and Holgate at the back? Very strange choice that.
Dani Ceballos would be a miracle signing
Plz do one for west ham
You could do atalanta sensible transfers as well
Everton need a deep lying playmaker/holding midfielder much more than a Doucoure type player. Interesting to hear the links with Idrissa Gueye again.
I am really wondering why there are only two Sensible Transfer episodes for Man City [winter 2021] & [summer 2019]. Is Man City really know how to do the right things, or is there another considerable reason?
should go for cornet
Me as an Arsenal fan : Every time Tifo uploads a new vid, gets disappointed 😔
As an Arsenal fan just enjoy the business the club is doing
@@jakehyams8659 what business are they doing?
@@chiefnkosi7705 buying players
@@jakehyams8659 what players are they buying?🤷♂️
The sensible thing would be to employ football people and just have a total reset. Squad is a complete mess of players from different managers. If be amazed if they're not battling relegation again this season
Stuttgart reshpectively. Yes that is all I picked up from this video.
you can choose any overhyped or washed up footballers from Manchester United or Arsenal to be signed by Everton and it would make alot more sense..!
Everton signing a player timeline:
-Club Selling Player: Quick, Mishari is on the phone, add on another five mill
-Agent to player: Quick, add on another 20k a week on yer wages
-Offer them one of our loaned players, we'll loan him out and they can pay for him to sit on the bench all season...
I been spamming yall with AS roma ! Im dying to watch it!!! plz
Nice, maybe we'll start making some transfer's now Moshiri's seen this video
Still looks like a relegation battle.
Unfortunately, this squad is danger of relegation.
Suggestions are questionable
Everton and Sensible Transfers are antonyms sadly, But I really hope this change in the near future with the new director of football. UTFT💙✊
