Liverpool are good at Sensible Transfers. They identify gaps in the squad and make moves on soon to be available players that fit their system. A new striker was needed with something different to what they had, so they went out and bought Darwin Nunez. Salah and Mane’s contracts were coming to an end, so they bought Luis Diaz. So who you Liverpool sign to futureproof any potential departures.

Sensible Transfers does an incredible job of building excitement around younger players some of us have never heard of before.
You don't play FM?
I'm not sure if excitement around younger players is actually a good thing...
Most of us.
@@lonestarr1490 ayo
@@lonestarr1490 excitment is fine but when it turns into overly rating a young talent and chucking in weights of expectation it can be ugly. Content like this on youtube and all across internet mainly to get people aware of some hidden talent outhere
Will there be a sensible transfers episode for AC Milan? Think they could be an interesting team given they need a few more pieces to make it out of the UCL group stage and defend their title come next season
Great shout, I’d love to see this especially with Leão being so dangerous and Kessié leaving.
Just buy cdk lmao
Replace Brahim Diaz with any high quality CAM. That's it
@@otto_jk yes😂brahim is so bad but I have hope
Ziyech CDK Badiashile Sanches would be a goated window
I was surprised why Liverpool didn't chased Ryan Gravenberch. He had all traits of a typical Liverpool signing: young, cheap, dynamic, high ceiling.
Possibly because he's under Mino Raiola's agency.
@@Ben_PN had he not already passed away before Gravenberch joined Bayern?
@@merijn4440 agency isn't run by a single entity.
I think it could be that Bayern approaches clubs and players well before things start heating up in the market so that the price isn't affected by market conditions. They're swift and respectful. Very well run organization. I believe Gravenberch would cost so much more at this stage in the market.
@@ukie713 I don't think that would be an issue, Liverpool tend to do the same.
When talking about the forwards you missed bobby firmino.
It's sad to see him neglected so often. He's still a quality player.
it does seem somewhat settled that his time at liverpool is short now, though, to be fair. Certainly as a starter.
remember when he was at hoffenheim?
I am hopeful and excited to see if he takes up a CAM position
Jota?
As if Jota doesn’t exist either
For first role (Fab successor) Liverpool have a youngster coming through Bacetic 17 yrs. Tall great on the ball, so good defensively he can play cb.
Morton?
@@troyhewson7907 no seen more as an 8 now, I don’t think he will make it. I meant bacetic
Stefan Bajcetic has emerged as a capable number 6, Hendo provided cover there too last szn, but we do need a number 8 in case West Ham come with a serious offer for Ox after missing out on Lingard.
My money would be on Matheus Nunes or if we want a younger option with more room for development and more of a future prospect, then Carney Chukwumueka fits the bill.
Sucic is one to watch out for too
Nunes is a rcm lcm not cdm
@@CrusherAU ik man thats why i said that if we need a capable no.8 we should look into Nunes. I mentioned the no.6 covers we have.
Great comment mate
Why have Chukwumueka when we have Elliot and Jones who are a similar age bracket, can play the same role, and have had Premier League experience at Liverpool? He would just block the development of our own, if he plays at all. My money's on Liverpool only buying a new mid if he'll be an immediate upgrade on our best
Carvalho is a 🌟
...in the making
No doubt 🙏🏽
It’d be very interesting to do one about FC Porto, lost 3 key players (Vitinha, Fábio Vieira and Mbemba) + Francisco Conceição for a low price, we’re in huge need of fullbacks, another CB, a ball carrying midfielder and a finishing winger
Stefan Bajcetic could well be the DM we're looking for, Pep Ljinders loves him and he's been very impressive during preseason. Only 17
when he signed last at 16 as a defender he was highly rated but i was suprised to him in midfield but we have enough young centre backs anyway.
This has been my favourite Sensible Transfers video of the season so far. The graphic style is excellent and I love learning about these exciting future prospects!
We already have academy players who have similar profiles mentioned names.
Fabinho heir
Stefan bajcetic
Tyler Morton.
Versatile fw
Trent Kone Doherty
Ben doak
Kaide Gordon
Mateusz musialowski
We're in need of elite level player missed out on tchouameni. Jude Bellingham would be the eliteness we need.
Liverpool need English players so Bellingham is absolutely an idea, though expensive and it's more a replacement for Hendo/Thiago rather than Fabinho. I say it all depends on how Jones, Elliot and Carvalho takes the next step. If they work out amazingly and manage to secure a spot on the team before Keita/Hendo/Thiago before the end of the season, then we don't need Bellingham. If not, we should absolutely focus on him.
@@AeonQuasar regardless of how well Curtis, Harvey,Fabio does we need a quality midfielder.
Factos 👍
@@dillipkumar845 there are more important part of the team that need upgrade the next few years than the midfield if we already have the successor on our team for the aging midfield. Sure, I like to have all the best players, but it's balance between consistent game time for the players and spending our resources.
Tyler Morton is more of an 8 than a 6 imo Bajectic is 17 he looks class hopefully he breaks through in a couple of seasons time. Bellingham would be good still think we need an upgrade now and go for Bellingham next season
Bajcetic looks the successor for the 6 role. He has so much of Fabinhos game to him already, but also shown he is capable of box to box too. Probably the best talent of the Liverpool academy since Trent
As a Villa fan, I knew immediately from how you described Fabinho that Iroegbunam would come up. He's a huge talent and Gerrard has a lot of faith in him. Give it three years or so and we'll really struggle to keep hold of him I think
Named after an English centre forward and Indian food, born in Kuwait, can represent Syria but plays for Sweden. Truly Mr Worldwide.
I think we already have a Fabinho replacement in Stefan Bajcetic. I like the lad in the pre-season and absolutely bossed it against Leipzig.
Roony Bardghji has had some incredible games for FC Copenhagen at just 16 years old, and sometimes he doesn't seem to be faced by anything. He scored two goals in seven games in his debut season last year.
However, he's also been the worst player on the pitch in one or two games, so there's obviously still a lot of room for improvement - as should be expected at such a young age.
Jude Bellingham next summer is the next transfer.
Think we are finished with any this summer
As a Birmingham fan who's gone through Jude's development, I think the best option is to wait for next season for Jude for 100 mil, that would do pool nicely
“Next summer” is what delusional Liverpool fans told themselves every year from 2019 onwards about Mbappé lol
@@vihodanyet dont worry we are getting Mbappe next summer
After a few poor episodes it’s good to see one with less well known players. Was worried it would just be Jude Bellingham
I really like the way these videos are made. The animations are very helpful when I'm watching with a lot of background noise, and even when I'm not, the points made are so clear and visual.
this is the one ive been waiting for. thank you tifo football
Can you do a video on how Bellingham would fit in at Liverpool and what is the one thing that prevented them from losing the PL by a point and the CL by a goal?
Tottenham stopped them winning the PL by a point and Real Madrid's European Cup final know how combined with Alexander-Arnold's lack of defensive awareness stopped them winning the CL by a goal.
@@trudeausbackbone1304 but Liverpool didn’t score a goal from open play in the 3 finals they played. What’s that one cutting edge factor that’s missing. This is the second time they’ve missed the PL by a point. Why is a low block so impossible for Liverpool to beat with all the attacking talent?
@@mananagnihotri
The margins are so incredibly fine though.
Liverpool could and probably should have scored a couple of goals against Real Madrid but found themselves up against a great goalkeeper in great form on the night.
Factor in some inevitable fatigue after a long, intense season of chasing every trophy while Madrid had a more relaxed build up and preparation.
I think the margins at the highest level are sometimes so fine, they are practically invisible.
Manchester City have thrown billions at trying to find the ultimate magic key to unlock every potential metaphorical locked door in the game but still keep falling short when it matters.
@@trudeausbackbone1304 yeah, you’re right. The margins are so fine they’re probably invisible. Of course this is a question the backroom staff might already have an answer to and we can sit and speculate all we want. The great news is Liverpool react to defeat better than any club out there. Lose the CL win it the next season. Lose the PL by a point win it the next season. Interesting next season, might I say.
I still think it was that 3-3 draw vs. Brentford that screwed the title for us. That was absolute chaos towards the end
Im a saints fan and while im half excited about our young signings also a little nervous. Whats the tactic here? Just to sell on? Most teams are strenghtening and im not sure these young lads are gonna be enough this season. Maybe a video on this subject?
Me too. We spent 40+ million on players under 21. If they turn out good and we sell them on for 4 times that then we make a fuckton... but I've never heard of any of them
@@Harry-mf6rq u mad for never hearing about bella kotchap. Live under a rock?
@@jeffreyjeffrey1935 first heard of him when we became interested. I like the focus on youth but worried we've invested too much in the future when the present doesn't look so hot
@@Harry-mf6rq Romeo Lavia is class. Man City will probably buy him back after 2-3 seasons.
The buyback clause probably says it all. Getting talent like lavia to a club that can gives lot of minute and develop players then buy the player back when they are ready its seems quite obvious innit
How about liverpool academy players? Likes of Tyler Morton and yesterday's game against Leipzig 17 year old Stefan bajcetic came on for fab and played really well.
He’s the one who won the ball then passed to Elliot before his assist for Darwin right? Looked pretty good
Not to mention our own Kaide Gordon for the forward role.
can confirm that roony is a gem, having played five fm seasons and never winning against copenhagen, always because of roony.
Oh for feck sake, Footy Manager and real football are not the same!
@@youngdolo8 Cry me a river
@@youngdolo8 Yeah Football Manager is far more accurate.
Love Gnonto, such an exciting player!
8 minutes and 50 seconds is a very long pronunciation of 'Jude Bellingham'.
Joke. Great video, and quite different to what's normally featured.
tim went to primary school with me and his brother played in my Saturday team both great down to earth lads and tim was a joke back in the day we had the best primary team in the area and he started playing with us when he was yr 3 and I was yr 5 and he was head and shoulders above everyone
Would love see a video about Sergio Busqust's succesor ! Also maybe about jordi alba too
Some good insight. I think Liverpool will definately be monitoring these players but the timing might not work. Young players develop while playing senior games and I can't see any of these players forcing there way into Liverpools 1st team in the next 2-3 seasons. So LFC would need to either buy them and loan back to their current club for 2 years (not ideal) or wait a couple of seasons and then think about buying and the price would be 5X higher than it is currently.
Or they could develop a few starts through their own academy,..maybe. This is always the best option. Cheaper, know the systems of play and supporters always like a local coming through the ranks.
Roony is very much still a rough diamond and one for the far future of any elite level club. Like any 16 year old he needs time to work on his decision making and his physicals before we really start to see him flourish in Superligaen. We've had these kinds of talents in the league before and they rarely make it to this kind of level. Latest (so far) disappointing send-off was Mohamed Daramy to Ajax. Roony needs time in Copenhagen and the right move in-between now and the big elite level jump.
Like any other technical front three player from Scandinavia I hope he goes to Holland, Belgium or perhaps Germany and lands on his feet.
every sensible transfers video I memorize more and more of the intro
Who's here after Gakpo signing
Yup
This was one of the best vids
Finally been waiting for this
Been waiting for this one!
Shoutout to the illustrator on Lavia's hair. Sensational work that
Heard of all those players because of football manager lol, that game is a blessing, but in the game roony bardgji has a £11m release clause (which i had to trigger of course) so that might be interesting if it's accurate.
I love these sensible transfers. Absolute gem!
Is that u Virgil?
Absolutely brilliant video
After watching yesterday's game..Nunez is promising but needs working...but Carvalho and Elliot with Jones were amazing to watch 🙏🏽
They also sign players that have impressed when playing against Liverpool, diaz and nuñez are prime examples. There are probably more but I'm not a lfc supporter so my memory isn't the best
Allison I guess, even though he didnt have his best games for Roma against liverpool
Minamino springs to mind too
Minamino, Mané and Alisson as well
Most of them
Two Belgian number 6, I think we'll be stacked in the midfield in our NT in the next few years. Different thing for the GK, CB or striker positions, but the Belgian midfield has a great future.
A lot of these players i’ve signed on fifa in my Gladbach career as they’ve been linked with Gnonto irl and Mbamba is quality too
Been signing Gnoto in every FM since he’s been included in the game, every PL team should be looking at him. Would be a great signing for United to solve their long term striker problem
Feyenoord have agreed terms with the player and he wants to develop in the eredivisie instead of going to a bigger league where some clubs were interested reliable sources stated. The only problem seems the asking price which is reported to be around 8-10 milion with Feyenoord not wanting to pay more than 4. Feyenoord's tactic seems to be ignoring zurich at the moment and handle other transfters as again the player already agreed with the club and putting pressure on Zurich considering they need to sell him this summer with just a 1 year contract. Would be a good step for his development
I was waiting for this.
Mikel Merino for CDM/CM. He can play both positions, has SOME PL experience and is at an ideal age that balances experience with enough youth to be developed further.
I LOVE THIS ACCOUNT. GREAT CHANNEL VERY INFORMATIVE! 👍🏻
You should do one of these for Wolves, I’m convinced they’re waiting for you to tell them what to do this window
Roony Bardghji is rated very highly on Football Manager. Bags of potential.
You should do a sensible transfers for Everton. They’ve only signed Tarkowski at the moment and aren’t linked with anyone. They would be an entertaining watch as they have a small transfer budget and you would have to think of very smart solutions and transfers.
Imagine Dejong in that role for Liverpool 🔥🔥🔥
Lavia can follow the long line of Southampton players who have shined brightly in Liverpool, such as Lallana, Mane, Van Dijk, etc.
Finally! Yes, thank you!!!!
Saw That Italian guy during the last round of friendlies he was class
Bacjetic answer Morton can fill in as future central midfielder prospects and next season we should go all in for Bellingham!
Next should be : West ham
Roony Bardghji- Football Manager legend
Before even watching, let me guess, we need a mid fielder and a versatile attacker
Nah
been waiting for this one ….
Football manager players know Bardghji very well, especially me
The pronunciation of Iroegbunam & Chukwuemeka is quite funny. 😂
Great video anyway!
"Born in 2005" - I wasn't expecting to feel so old today.
Me too 🤣
That was amazing thank you
They should consider Maguire and Timo Werner for comic relief
Ibrahim Sangaré is actually a good suggestion for No. 6 position in this case, still yet to reach his prime, lots of experience for his age, and he has not got much on his current contract
You guys are amazing
Roony Bardghji, even though an excellent prospect, isn't ready for the next step just yet. He's still very raw and needs further development. Smart move would be to buy him and loan him straight back to FC Kobenhavn.
Great direction this video went in 👍
We have Leighton Clarkson and Tyler Morton, who even fit the hg criteria, and have champions league experience, also we have Bajcetic coming through
Roony Bardghji ? I would love to hear the song he gets from the Kop, what an awsome name. Real shame he`s not from Argentina
i was waiting for this
LFC doing such a got job with replacing vital cogs in Klopp's system that even tifo has nothing to say about improving the current team :P
Liverpool need a concrete Milner/Emre Can replacement. Fabinho and Alcantara are great starters but they need a sort of Jack-of-all-trades midfielder in the peak of his career who can operate as a Center-half.
Tsimikas should pull a sterling and go look for regular minutes at a top half pl side
Jurgen Koop assembling a fifa career mode team with all those young prospects
Can you make a video about man city on where they need to focus for winning the Champions league?
Will we see a video for the Foxes? Still yet to make a signing...need something to be optimistic for!
This is kinda ageing like milk
A sensible transfer from Valencia CF? I know they aren't the biggest team in terms of world wide support but de have a big fan base in Spain and I would like to see what you guys might suggest based on their issues
Brilliant video but what do u think about Stefan bajetic as a 6 back up to Fabinho just watched him against leipzig looks pure quality only 17
No. 6 you are talking about - Bajcetic / Morton
would have been dope if roony bardghji decided to play for either syria or kuwait over sweden, plus imagine the hype both liverpool and him will get in the middle east (that isn't egypt) and imagine the amount of liverpool shirts sold in those regions god damn
I get that this is looking more toward the future but considering how lacking some recent sensible transfers videos have been it feels a little odd to have a 9 minute one for a settled team with an essentially finished window
Ward-Prowse as a long term alternate for Milner and Hendo
Bardghji is a wonderful FM wonderkid! Tifo knows best
Roony is a beast in FM22!
As an LFC fan, I love these transfers 👍🏾
Ynwa
Mbamba and Bardghji you've spied on my FM save
Love me some Roony on FM22
Need that Ibrahim Sangare high where is it?!
BEEEEEN WAITING BRO YNWA
Nice insight only know bout Romeo lavia
Hi tifo I like your videos there so helpful my you do a video on 2013 Bayern Munich
They should go for Danilo from Palmeiras who is being projected as the heir to Casemiro/Fabinho`s place in Brazil national team
Roony Bardghji is one of the best bargain wonderkid in FM22
The only flaw I see is TAA defensive task. He doesn't do any. It is better to move him to midfield and play RB with Gómez.
Happy I'm not seeing any Saka links
wait....the most important part to replace, the aging henderson and thiago, and not even 1 candidate?!?!?!?!?
Hi tifo I would really like to see a Everton sensible transfer video
Shouldn’t they be looking at an attacking 8. Someone who can make runs into the penalty box and contribute some goals from the midfield. I think that is a weakness in their current squad. Thiago, Fabinho and Hendo don’t provide that. Ox is always injured and Elliot is too young. I think Milenkovic Savic, off the top of my head.
What i would do for a Stevie G type player
Liverpool probably can't afford Savic, this video, is focused on replacements for the old gard, for 5yrs time in the future, with Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliot, no.8 are probably secure, for 5yrs, for now, no natural back-up/long-term replacements for Fabinho, and they probably need a long-term Salah replacement, so this Sensible Transfers show makes sense, rn, in the mean time
Bellingham is more or less destined to join
