Arsenal need to add youth, dynamism, and attacking unpredictability, while also developing a physically imposing back-line. These transfers would achieve that, for a reasonable price.

Everyone: Arsenal need to improve in defence, as per the last 12 years
Arsenal: ooooh Zaha at 80 million from Crystal Palace
We do need a winger as well. Strange for a big team to have no true wingers (aside from Iwobi).
But I agree, Zaha isnât priority. He turned us down to go to United, so I donât know why we should pay tonnes for him now.
Hahahahaha....... Nice one...
2005: "We are moving to the new stadium so that we can financially compete with the biggest teams in Europe"
2019: "A fee of 20m Euros means that this player might be out of Arsenal's price range"
Losing out on Champions League is ROUGH.
Our budget is 40 million Because our owner doesn't invest money and took out 300 million from the club instead of using it on transfers
Didnât anticipate that TV rights income would boost every PL team regardless of stadium revenue.... oops!
@@Dust4Vomit That's true but that doesn't explain why we still can't spend 20m on a single player
One week later: signs Pepe for âŹ80m

You guys should also talk about player sales when talking about a club's sensible transfers.
That needs 8 videos lmao

aljanat5 why would torreira be sold
@@niallmartin4078 I don't think he's saying Torreira should be sold, just that he has a relative sensible market value, unlike someone like, for example, Ozil, who is paid way over what he is really worth. Hence, Fenerbahce said "no thanks" despite him being a good fit.
This is the most challenging rebuild considering their budget.

Sensible transfers for arsenal would be Mustafi for ÂŁ35mil... Just find a team. Give them ÂŁ35mil, and hope they'll take Mustafi.

So frustrating last season: Emery couldn't risk giving the new/young guys time, because in match after match everything was a stake. With the string of disasters in January, and everything lost due to moments of idiocy (Mustafi/Xhaka featuring), we fell short but still didn't use the season to give the young guys experience. The Arsenal Board have probably been waiting for this video
Like any of them would know what 'XG' means. They probably think a dribble is what appears on their tie after they pass out in their chair after a boozy lunch at their 'gentlemen's club'.
It's funny that just 2 weeks ago 20 mil for a winger was considered out of Arsenal's price range.
Now we're on the verge of signing a winger for 72 mil(!).
The Arsenal board works in mysterious ways...
- plays football manager
- buys these players
- still failed to qualify for ucl
- imma bad manager.
Great video. Keep up the good work fellas. Really love the work and how much detail is put into these videos.
With an enormous transfer budget of 40M, can't wait to see which superstars Arsenal are going to buy!
Balotelli, Alves, Nasri, Sturbridge, Brahim, Ribery, Cahill. The free agents market has still got something to offer if we move for some of these players swiftly albeit we don't bottle up our transfers like we always do :(
@@prayaaskochhar8783 Arsenal and English clubs don't like free transfers - free transfers are for smart clubs like Juventus, who just got Ramsey and Rabiot for free. And then, every year they go further than English clubs in Champions League. 2019 is the exception, but in the last 7 years ... =)))
@@prayaaskochhar8783 I genuinely don't think any of those players improve Arsenal. They're big names sure, but they're all on the decline and the wages that come with free transfers will hurt Arsenal's already inflated wage spending
ÂŁ72 million for Pepe lol

The reason why the diamond formation is no longer our best option is because that system ONLY worked with Rambo, rambo auba Laca pressured up front. Sad that we canât afford a box to box midfielder to replace himđ
True
Let's see if Guendouzi can develop into a box to box midfielder, let's hope the minutes he got last season were helpful.
Yh, he will be great but for now we need to make him hungry to get on the pitch, 100% every time, which he wasnât. Thatâs why we canât throw game time at him, he has to work for it so he knows that he has to make the most of it
Finally! Iâve been waiting for this.

"Arsenal" and "sensible transfers" should never be put together in the same sentence, much less in the title of a video
Really enjoyed this one Joe. The fact that you highlighted U23 players at the club was great. This could be an avenue for more videos, i.e. Under age players at particular clubs who, statistically, have the ability to make the grade at that club.
Wow, never seen this channel before, good video and interesting players you've picked out. Earned a sub
This is really depressing if your an Arsenal fan. Man U bid ÂŁ80mil for Maguire and signed Wan Bissaka for ÂŁ50mil, throwing money away. Arsenal ÂŁ20mil is too much.
not necessarily, I am a United fan and it is still depressing seeing Man U throwing away 80 mil for Maguire, when there are so many better and cheaper players out there. De ligt costs 70 mil, Alderweireld has 25 mil release clause etc. It is just poor management in both clubs
Maguire more expensive than Van Dijk, it's honestly laughable
Man United have been top 5 spenders in world football over the last 5 year, and they are still shit
Man U is a joke as well, they spend A LOT and their team is still shite
@@quickie17 That's correct, and is a board issue like at Arsenal- There's no long term strategy. Ed Woodward shouldn't be allowed to spend clubs money. If a club buys Di Maria with 70 mil and sells him 1 year later with 50 mil, obviously they don't know what they are doing. Or they pay 6 mil. to loan an older injured Falcao, when you have Rooney, Van Persie, Welbeck, Chicarito in your team. Now they lost Herrera for free. It's silly. John Verteux Who?
Correa is more of a false 9 and lacks the ability to drop back into the midfield to help build up play. Kai Havertz is someone that would fit that position better. He would not join Arsenal, of course.

Can you do a video explaining the increasing power in the transfer market from smaller clubs
Like so Tifo can see
not much to say there... tv-rights. Sky Sport gives a lot of money for teams in BPL. The team which finishes on place 17 gets 105 million GBP, the ones above take even more. Hence they all have money. End of Story.
The words "sensible" and "Arsenal" hardly seem to make any sense being in the same sentence together...!!!
Nicholas Anelka was bought for less than a million euro at 19 years old. Less than 2 years later he was sold to Real Madrid for 22.8 million euro. Arsene Wenger is one of the most âsensibleâ managers in the history of the sport.

.... What happened to us, subscribers?
@Chimera XDX Whoa! LOL Its amusing that you are this much angry because another man refuses to chase women like a dog, just like you. You are so pissed that he chooses to prioritize other pursuits in his life, instead of becoming like you - A slave to your reptilian biological drive. LOL
So let me get this straight. I'm supposed to somehow prove to you that I'm regularly getting chicks, by making a video of me having s37 with various females, right?
... From your comment, I assume *you place the importance of your life based on how many women you are chasing at any point in your existence.* That's why you've got a problem with those who refused to put the pursuit of vagina in first place in their lives, right? .... It must be fulfilling to be spending your waking hours everyday planning to please some vagina that day, since you've got no other higher ambitions beyond your reproductive functions. We will certainly discover the next Albert Einstein by breeding more of you guys. The human race can definitely bet on that! đ
@Chimera XDX Meh. I made my point.
From here on, it's like replying to child using tantrums to argue their point. Yes, I know your not an adult, because your replies show no ability to use logic except shaming language.
And word of advice, kid: Grown men who actually have jobs to afford nice cars, don't feel the need to post Google Images of their cars all over their profile. It's kids who still dream to acquire those, that do. .... You'll grow up, you'll experience life for what it's worth, and perhaps you'll discover the real value of vagina compared to your ambitions and personal existence.
@Chimera XDX LOL Says the self-projecting InCel who flipped out cos another man wasn't placing golden value on vagina like he does. LMAO.
Enjoy your irrelevance, kiddo.
Chimera XDX thereâs nothing wrong in showing appreciation for something, is there? I think people forget CZcams is free and TV costs but CZcams is much better, they take it for granted.
@Chimera XDX đ But kid, your mom doesn't think the same though. When she's done cleaning up my spunk, ask her. Even your dad agrees.
Me personally, I'd try Iwobi in the 10 role. That's where he's the most comfortable, and while he is very good on the wing, he could be great in the middle. Reiss Nelson would probably go out wide left then, who, I'm surprised you guys didn't mention. Brilliant youngster, should be playing this upcoming season. Tierney would also be nice, Kolasinac is not good enough for a top 4 prem side. Skov is an exciting player though, very good video.
A really good take on the team and the key areas that all fans can see the team is lacking in. It shows that improvements can be made despite transfer budget restrictions.
Finally...
The video lost all credibility when Hector Bellerin is said need understudy at leftback.
Thank you very much Tifo!
Brilliant work guys
I just don't see them giving up on playing Aubameyang and Lacazette together, too big waste of money and talent if they do it ...
I have an uneasy feeling that one of them will be sold to prop up the budget and then play the system that UE seems to prefer without balancing the two personalities
We got Pepe, Saliba, Martinelli and Ceballos.. donât worry about Arsenal mate.. đ sanllehi is a massive upgrade on gazidas.. you can already see the damage heâs doing to Milan, but thatâs another story and heâs their problem now

Love this series. I hope you can do an episode on Milan soon?
Waiting for this video for ages and absolutely agree with the transfers, I hope the board listen to it. However I wish a formation with Auba and Laca was considered as I felt the longer the season went on it became clear that they were our only goal threats and were developing good interplay.
You maths is wrong (0:45). 73% is not a possible point take from three games. Six points would be 67%. Seven would be 78%.
