Juventus are not in the same shape that they were during Max Allergi’s last spell in charge. Another season has passed without the scudetto, and more key figures have left. They’d acted swiftly bringing in some big names, but there are still big gaps in the side to fill. So, how could they fill them.
Jon Mackenzie writes, Henry Cooke illustrates.

#Juventus #SensibleTransfers - Sport
I'd love to see all of Tifo's suggested Sensible Transfers put into an FM22 database and then simulated to see how they all get on!
Back in the day Alex did a series like that :) he tried to do it moneyball style but accumulating an overall profit whilst winning titles
Sangare will be in all of the teams
I love this series! I think it’s time to change the intro though. Despite claiming to only focus on a player’s on-field profile, this video mentions the contract situation for almost all of the players, speculates that Alex Grimaldo “seems determined to leave” Benfica and that “Barcelona are rumoured to be interested” in Tagliafico.
It’s not a problem to bring in these elements - they’re interesting and add to the case for each transfer - but it does make the intro slightly untrue.
Indeed
Probably talking about off pitch rumours about players. Stats decide the players not rumours about attitude, off the pitch work rate etc
Or in the Bayern video where they suggested Kalajdzic as Lewandowski replacement 🤣 so obvious they just pick rumors, otherwise they wouldn't suggest such an average player for such a big club...
I always pick up on this as well
I've tended to interpret the intro as suggesting that the gossip and rumours they avoid are those that have to do with whether a player suggestion they make for a club is actually linked with them. After all, taking into account whether or not a certain player is gettable (by looking into their contract situation and their determination to leave) is part of evaluating whether a transfer would be sensible. Otherwise, they wouldn't be much stopping them from simply suggesting that a club should go for the best player in the world in the given position being addressed.
Love this series, although I'd like to see you analyze Napoli's situation after Koulibaly, Insigne and Mertens departed
Kvartackshvelia to gloryyy 🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪
wait, Mertens leave? that's huge loss for them
Yes, me, a Napoli fan, is very concerned. Don't forget Ospina left as well and Fabian Ruiz might depart if someone makes a decent offer. I am afraid Napoli lacks the squaddepth this year to finish top 4 ahead of Roma and Lazio.
@@majdiroidal-jihad9554 that is indeed... we in Napoli are so upset and sad and deluded by the society
@@markusz4447 so, how are you feeling now? Haha
As soon as I heard centre doesn’t need to be quick I thought Man United should do everything in their power to sell Harry Maguire to Juve 😂😂
They could just drop him out of a helicopter at Juventus training ground. Technically Fly-tipping I know.
Exactly what I thought.
For all their bad purchases of recent years and even with de Ligt being sold Juventus thankfully have good enough CBs to avoid United's abject ones.
Nah we take their players for free 💁♂️
Thanks for the video. Also, make one for newly crowned Italian champion ; AC Milan. Cheers!
Di Maria will be a perfect fit for Allegri's Juventus, since he can play as a winger or as a mezzala in his 433, and Pogba is still Pogba.
I think that Juventus needs at least 2 CB, since De Ligt left for Bayern and they have only Bonucci and Gatti; Bremer or free-agent Zagadou could be an option too. Nevertheless, the real challenge for Arrivabene will be to get rid of unnecessary players, like Rabiot and Ramsey, which receive an unreal salary for their role in the squad.
Can Di Maria really play as a mezzala though? I know he sometimes had similar roles in Madrid and Manchester, but that's a long time ago. He's 34 now and he played most of last season's matches as a right winger.
@@tamatama1037 that's a good point, but I still think that in many games he can still play as a mezzala, but with less defensive burden
@@DanielGiuseppeDiNiro I think it's gonna be like playing Dybala as a mezzala. Technically not impossible if an opponent is a really bad side, but you may as well play him as a 4231 or 442's attacking player at that point.
"pogba is still pogba". Ah he's still lazy and infuriatingly clumsy on the ball then.
Zagadou is very injury prone and not that good whenever he's featured especially recently.
Depay to Juventus is brilliant for all parties
Moise Kean is still at Juve, I think he's there on a two year loan with and obligation to buy
Correct
Forgot he even existed
Awful striker. I loved the idea of him first time round at Juve
@@B4kerG Every striker is awful when playing for Allegri.
@@B4kerG He was brillant at PSG though
Due to Jose’s history in signing players of specific profiles to fit his systems AS Roma would be a very interesting video
Earliest I’ve been to a video
Honestly depay to juventus isn’t a bad thing since lewandowski to Barca is practically a done deal and depay will surely be benched for him so him going to juventus to play that role of dybala as a Cf would be beneficial for him
Memphis & Dybala have very similar profiles/play styles too, so it would be a great plug and play option for Juve
Tagliafico is 29yrs, he is almost in the age bracket of Sandro...
Love this series! Hopefully an Arsenal vid soon! Though I'm not sure how much business we have left in the window assuming Zinchenko is done.
This video was great. The best so far since it did not pursue the obvious names, that has appeal to me. Each to their own,all these videos are good, this is the pick of the lot👍🏿
These videos are the best keep em coming
Can you do a Ajax sensible transfers?
We want Everton sensible transfers , from being on brink of relegation to how they can get back in top 10 by adding certain types of players
aren't they getting points deduction
@@sujalshrestha806 wait, where'd you read that?
@@sujalshrestha806 They arent
Use lampards influence over Chelsea and get someone like Gilmour / Vale etc for a season. Could get a Gallagher like loan like Palace did last season
it's more sensible that they will be relegated next season.
I really appreciate the 7am upload times.
I’d love to see one of these for Everton, financially difficult times and most likely we will be facing another relegation battle. Would be interested so see what Tifo think on us
Most spot on sensible transfers eposide I've seen so far.
I would love to see sensible transfers for a team like Napoli, after loosing so many players.
If locatelli is played in cdm why not just try zakaria at cb. That might be a good option because his defensive numbers are great and he is also very fast and very good at the ball. He is probably not gonna get much game time in that cdm role as locatelli Or rabiot may start over him.
rabiot looks destined to leave
I think a midfield of Locatelli Zakaria Pogba could very well work
@ f 000 I beckon that as well
Still trying to figure out where Milincovic-Savic is going to land. One of my favorite Serie A players.
AC Milan please. What transfer do they need after Scudetto and some key players left?
Would love to see one of these on Serie A champions AC Milan and how they might try to solidify their title defence and go further in Champions League this next year.
Would love to see Ajax to see which areas they still need to improve after a lot of players coming in and out
sensible transfers for arsenal please, i think savic would be a better fit than tielemans but would like your view
A video about Barca’s transfer-window would be great
Have never heard of the word gettable before thanks for the new word
As a Juve fan, love the depay suggestion, would be a solid pickup for us
imagine thinking Nacho would ever leave RM
Hi, can you bring Napoli sensible transfer? Koulibaly, Insigne, Ospina, Mertens and maybe soon Fabian too left, the squad is totally to rebuild, the video would be pretty interesting
I want to see sensible transfers for Valencia CF. They are a fallen club and have an interesting project ahead of them.
Making such a video for Everton would be bloody hard .
How I miss this format of sensible transfers😢
Thank you
I think that they need in addition another midfielder because except zakaria locatelli and pogba, the midfield is really poor with rabiot ramsey and mc kennie
So I would buy an offensive midfielder like majer form rennes, he is young, would accept to be in a rotation role for 1 or 2 seasons, good at pressing and he have a good dribbling and passing ability, he can also play play as a right mid in a 4 4 2 and would cost around 20-30M€
also dan axel zagadou is a free agent and he could be a good addition for juve, considering he is a left footed centre back.
Always injured though and I don't think he's good enough
@@golyno not for a starter, but for a substitute he is good enough.
I understand this was made a while back but Barca were only in for Tagliafico in January 😅
I would love to see a Video to AS Roma
in the time of writing, Memphis Depay reportedly close to signing for them, good job guys
Next on lazio, inter and roma please
Sensible Transfers Request - Post an editon after deadline day to see if any of them actually happened. Would be fun to see if any of them actually do happen and how that player is performing.
that "with national teammate Denis Zakaria making the move to the club recently" audio file insert tho lmaooo
I love Depay as a barca fan, I'd love to see him get the success he deserves.
pretty cool content
love
Would love to see you do Lazio
Kean (unfortunately) is still in Juventus, there's an obligation on him and he did so bad last year that it seems there's no chanche to leave for him. As a defender, Juve is moving on Bremer which come from two great seasons in Torino and he's relatively young, great body and good feet. The alternative is Pau Torres which is a left-foot and will fit greatly. I don't think they'll buy a new left back this year and I really wonder about which forward will take the place of Dybala. Depay is good but too similar to Dybala, which was a problem for Allegri who doesn't like that kind of player and during last season Dybala played almost as a midfielder which was a waste. I think Allegri managed Dybala terribly, actually. I think Allegri will ask for a physically stronger forward.
You say unfortunately, I, as an Evertonian, say it is very fortunate and delicious payback for your throwing us that particular hand-grenade to begin with.
Do Sunderland next!
I'd love an Inter Milan episode!
Please do a video on Barcelona's lever stuff, it's totally baffling.
Watch the video and... Quite surprised how midfield area was not overlooked as area that needs addressing. Since Pogba alone does not resolve the midfield issue, as the way allegri play with 3 man midfield is always 1 attacking CM, 1 regista, and 1 physical player. The analysis could have done better.
This is ultra sensible
There is a need for 1-2 new CBs, one LB and one versatile attacker (like Depay) capable of covering several roles. However the atrocious deals of Paratici (now at Spurs) mean Juventus can only complete maybe half of those deals this summer, with any room to manoeuver fuether restricted by useless players on high wages (Sandro, Ramsey, Rabiot).
Kean is there for another season btw and need liverpool one next
When are you doing Internazionale?
Please do the story of World Cup qualification 2022
Nacho won't move. It was not just Real who stopped his moves before...he doesn't want to leave if he is a valuable part of the squad. He has been exactly that outliving so many players despite having type 1 DM on insulin injections.
He loves the club in a very hardcore manner.
PLZ DO A DORTMUND ONE
Make sensible transfers for Ac Milan please.
They'll do them anyway haha
It takes us months to complete a signing anyways. Leeds freaking United have spent more than us this summer.
@@CriusXI Yes but I don't know why we don't take for free belloti, and dybala. We lost Botman Sanchez and Perez.
@@gurustyleacmilan Milan doesn’t want to offer Dybala 6M in wages, we are interested in Charles De Ketelaere. And idk if we are interested in Belotti. Giroud, Ibra, Origi, and Rebic are all plays that play and can play striker for us.
@@gurustyleacmilan Belotti and Dybala are trash. Botman is not and was not worth 40 milions euros and who is Perez?
We want PSG Sensible Transfers Please 🔥
They really need to identify their Weak spots
PSG don’t make sensible transfers though
Moise Kean is still at Juve
Moise Kean isn't going back to his parent club (Everton), its a 2 year loan with an obligation to buy at the end. Might get bought out and sold to PSG, but not finalized yet to my knowledge?
Please please do Everton
On italian pronounciation: Moise is pronounced "moys" and bernardeschi "bernardeski" 😊
Wow wrong twice
Keanes loan does last this season but Juve are trying to get out if it.
Moise Kean's loan lasts for another season, just sayin
What about Pau Torres?
My pick is Udoghi and Bremer.
Kean is still in the team so we don't need another forward.
Danilo is decent at CB so maybe no need for CB but need a backup RB
Make a Internacional SC (Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil) vídeo guys.
Sensible transfers for Everton would be cool
There is a mistake in the video. Juve had an obligation to buy Kean (at the end of the new season). Juve signed him on a two years loan deal
Do a video on Dortmund
Man it's awesome that Juventus got Angel Di Maria maybe Ronaldo comes back now. Also on Saturday I think they play against Chivas. 😅
Tsimikas would be a great option for Juve.
2:00 Who is Doozan Vlaavich? DuSHan VlaHovich!
Wait, did you just call Morata and Kean leaving Juventus as a "loss"?
I mean technically they aren't playing for Juventus this season but the departure of both of these players is a net positive any way you slice it.
I think 2 center backs are needed and a left back isn’t needed
As u said Akanji and also Gabriel he’s also linked to Juventus
You have not seen how bad Alex Sandro has been in the last 3-4 seasons
I don’t want Akanji. I want any two of Pau Torres, Bremer and Gabriel
We need a left back and right back in next two seasons but we desperately need 2 starter level cbs in this season
@@morkujinirukandji4820 Not a bad idea Bremer is unrealistic to leave Torino for Juve but yeah
@@suhimthapa2341 I’m not even talking about Alex Sandro I’m talking about Luca pelligrini
Do one for Roma and Fiorentina
Can you do a levante one please
BernardesKi is the correct spelling, while Moise Kean is still at the club with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, oh by the way they already have signed a left back in Cambiaso
And loan him right after.
@@tandatanya8834 probably yes, still worth mentioning isn't it?
Kean didn't leave it was a 2 year loan with mandatory fee
It would be great to have a PSG episode
I'd love to see sensible transfers for AC Milan
Liverpool next, please!
The first cb option would surely be Bremer wouldn't it?
I still dont quite get why juve didnt go for romangoli on a free transfer in the end. Would have been the perfect fit
You mean an injury prone Rugani 2.0? Thanks, but no thanks... our medical staff is already busy as it is!
@@jesperjuhl2815 sure he would be a risk, but a left sided cb with heaps of serie a and European experience, even as a backup in a now rather depleted backline would be welcome surely. Especially seeing juve's love for free transfer deals
Kean won't return to Everton that's being said.
As a Juve hardcore, I would go into an other direction. For the left back I would sell Pellegrini and go after Grimaldo, with sandro as a back up. In 2023 Cambiaso comes back from lone an will fight with Grimaldo for the left back spot, while Sandro leaves for free.
Next construction side is the center back position, with the departure of de ligt and Giorgio we need two to replace them. My first suggestion for the right cb position is already a completed transfer with Bremer. Won Serie A defender of the season with amazing performance. My left cb would be Pau Torres. Amazing passer with outstanding Through Balls, Switches, Progressive Passes and Passes into Final Third. Perfect for Allegris transition play. He is left footed two. Not the same problems like with de ligt being right footed as left center back.
For the midfield we need many departures like: Arthur, Rabiot, Ramsey, maybe Zakaria or McKennie
Fagioli and Miretti will be promoted as fix parts of the first team. Another holding midfielder is needed, my suggestions would be Fabian Ruiz or Leandro Paredes.
My final midfield would look like: Loca, Pogba, Miretti, Fagioli, Paredes/Ruiz, Zaka/McKennie
For the winger position I want to see Soule being promoted and Kean, because thats were he had his best times in PSG. Both as backup for chiesa and di Maria.
Vice Vlahovic could be Belotti. We need a true goalscorer, a true 9 as vice Vlaho, not a player like depay.
Great suggestions, although I really want Allegri to consider Rovella as the first choice pick for the holding/regista role. That would free up Loca too!
@@AJ-kx5hr I don’t see Rovella being experienced enough to play that role as a starter for us
Juventus and sensible dont go hand to hand sadly
Not sure about akanji in defense as Dortmund conceded a lot of goals last season. I think they should invest in 2 young CB considering bonucci’s age. My picks would be Gvardiol and Kounde if De Ligt is sold.
Gvardiol isn't available this summer
Finaly Pogba will play in 4-3-3. I dont understand how United could buy a creative player like him for 100M only to play him in a double pivot with the likes of Mctomainy. Just asking for disaster.
Dortmund next pls
Great video but Kean is still a juve player, he had a 2 year loan
I’d say Roberto Firmino is a good replacement for Dybala. Very similar player.
Still waiting on the sensible transfers for barca
Waiting for the Barcelona sensible transfers.
I’m not trying to troll, but could Harry Maguire genuinely be not a terrible option for Juventus considering their counter attacking style? Do they play with a low block?
C'mon, Joe. U may know already the sensible transfers vid that many of us are waiting for 🔵🔴🇪🇦
Wouldn't that be a waste of time, given how insensible that club seemingly prefers to behave?
@@lonestarr1490 0:02 - 0:17
i allways thought his name was pronounced moise like in moist and kean like in keen
