- At the beginning of each season, its important to assess your fishing gear for optimal performance. Brown Trout fishing success depends upon your spoon program so keeping your spoons looking good is critical. In this video, we are dropping the hammer on some BIG BROWN TROUT in early April. Capt. B3 is joined by Saiff Charter Fleet Captains as they target the Browns on Lake Ontario's South Shore. The tip today: "How to keep your spoons clean and polished for maximum performance"! We share a long held Saiff Charter Secret for prepping spoons. Once you see this......your tackle will never be the same!

Just getting into fishing Ontario. Love your show learning alot .thankyou
glad you are enjoying it.....
As always great video
I have been using carwax and car polish for over 10 years and does a good job. One year fishing coho on the oregon coast cleaning our spinners with baby wipes was the ticket.. we were fighting over the last one.
Bill, I notice you have a bottle of Dawn dish soap on one of your video's, why? and do you use a scent on your lures for Lakers? I love your video's, wish I was in the south to come out on a charter.
We use the DAWN to clean because it's safe for the environment and its biodegradable.
How fast are you trolling the spoons??
Ive been using toothpaste....it works but removes chrome plating also, i see twinkle also has a copper polish, does it work on copper spoons?
Great tips...we run mostly body baits...what speed range for spring browns on Stingers?
2.6 to 2.9 knots along the shoreline...
whats the length of most of these spoons (without hook)?
3 3/4 inches
