Crab Stuffed Shrimp

Crab Stuffed Shrimp is a great recipe for an appetizer or whatever you can come up with. Make sure not to smoke them.
Recipe
1lb 20-25 sized shrimp
3 cups lump crab meat
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced bell pepper
1/4 cup diced celery
1Tblsp minced garlic
Creole or Cajun seasoning to taste
dash of Worcestershire sauce
dash of hot sauce
1 egg beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
zest of 1/2 a lemon
juice of 1/2 a lemon
2Tblsp parmesan cheese
1 tsp fresh chopped thyme
1 tsp fresh chopped oregano

I am going to guess you moved out of Louisiana before having real stuffed shrimp. The best of course can no longer be had was served at the Freeman and Harris Cafe. There are other places that make a nice stuffed shrimp, so it is still popular. Give it a look up and do not forget the dipping sauce.
