Growing up across the street from the canal we used to see all kinds of trippy things in that canal. One day it was an invasion of Jellyfish, literally hundreds of them. Another time it was the same thing but with Portuguese Man O War. Then there were the creatures that defied description and interesting things like a wrecked boat and the hood of a car. I miss that canal so much. Lucky you live Hawaii. I had to move away.

I just spotted moon jellyfish and a huge puffer with my baby
Sometimes one can spot sharks or barracuda in the Ala Wai even as far upstream near the golf course.
