The Honolulu Police Department is investigating an incident that happened in Kakaako earlier today. Bystanders detail the terrifying situation as they said a little boy was seen climbing over a high-rise balcony.

Confusing report. They reported it like two separate events with no connection to each other. That seems highly unlikely. I'm thinking the woman was the child's mother or caretaker of some kind. Since they did talk to the father that would be the next natural question to ask.
Local reporting has gotten so bad.

I think they are just completely different events. But the woman actually falling should've been it's own story. Or they should've led off with "there were 2 separate events today at the same high rise..."

I hope that boy wasn't looking for his Mom who jumped. That's the only thing I can think of is he was inside and saw her jump and then he ran out to look for her! Omg so heartbreaking, I hope he is young enough to forget it, but I doubt he ever will 😢 Thank you God for not letting that boy fall and for the neighbor that helped him up! Prayers for the family!

@@Sharyk808 I have a 6 yr. old in family...he knows enough about heights and falls...to not crawl over a railing in a high rise! Either kid was terrified of someone or situation going on in apartment...or he is mentally challenged child that wasnt watched carefully enough!
Thank God that neighbor was there to help him. Prayers for that little boy. I pray that the trauma his mother caused him doesn’t stay with him. All my prayers and best wishes.

The world and that little boy are better off without her. She has NO significance here. It’s ALL about the little boy she selfishly damaged for the rest of his life. If you didn’t see it, God saved him via that neighbor that pulled him to safety. Thanks be to God. Keep that little boy wrapped in your arms.

When I was this age I apparently enjoyed running into traffic and construction sites. My grandmother chased me out of Winn Dixie in Tallahassee FL in 1976. She ripped some electrical wires from an old a/c compressor and proceeded to whip me silly on the side of the grocery store. I think I needed one more before I finally learned-don’t do that. 51 and still alive lol. Thanks Grandma!!!!❤

To all the bleeding hearts that call this abuse. It's called a lesson you don't forget. I had my rear beat with a belt and you know what. It hurts at the time so you remember not to go 10 blocks away at 6 years old after climbing a fence. You remember not to take something that's not yours. You remember not to sneak out of the house at night at 9 years old. You learn there is a punishment for your actions. Thank You Mom. I deserved those whipping. And I learned there rules and laws . I see a lot of people out there today could use a few lessons. Probably their mothers too. Lol.

So wait, let me get this straight: a woman fell from the building, a woman also attempted suicide(on the same building)had jumped but somehow survived? AS WELL as a little 6 yr old boy climbed out & was found walking all along the outside railing of the same high-rise building but was pulled up to rescue by a neighbor close by? All in the same day?? I was expecting to see a woman take a high dive on concrete while trying to save a little boy. The reporting of the incident is confusing and sounds suspicious! From what I saw in the video clip I surmise that the little boy was going to get help for whoever fell down on the floor inside the apartment/condo residence.

So was the woman who "fell"? "attempted suicide"? the same woman? Is that connected to the boy? Why would a SIX year old be silly enough to climb over a railing that many floors up? Why not call for help on a phone or knock on neighbor's doors to get help if no phone was available? Is this child mentally challenged? Weird confusing story.

this little boy is a daredevil. his family needs to move to a first floor. he's going to be a tik tokker who loses his life to a stunt. he was already over the railing to safety, she just got his leg over. they didn't say his mother jumped. it was 'a 38 year old woman'.. nothing about her relation to the boy. i wish they had elaborated on her. just. two crazy incidents that happen from time to time.

My daughter done this while we were on holiday my chum was in the next room she went to go onto her balcony which was right beside me and there was my 3 year old daughter trying to climb onto her balcony thank god we both got her off, my daughter was always doing things like this growing up I could not take my eyes of her. She became a figure skater and done competition’s which calmed her done. Now she is a mother of 2 and her we daughter who has just turned 3 is exactly like her mother and I can sit back and watch her chasing after her daughter lol 😆

That Little kid climbed back on his own balcony before the neighbor got there. If she "saved him" he would have ended up on her balcony not the one next door.

If you live in such a high-rise building and you have kids, then you ought to add 3 foot more height to the railing, using either high impact plastic or 1/4 inch wire mesh, which cannot be climbed by a child.
Or, just take a big insurance policy on your kids, then encourage them to play -- anywhere they want. That's what I have done, and hopefully, it won't pay out. But, I win: either way.

Fascinating. Hawaii is the place people dream about. They save money their whole life just to visit for a week. This women lived there but her internal reality was quite different. I've also been a wedding waiter. Same time, same place, eat same food (often), see the same people but my place and reality was much different than the guests.
