I remember back then, people would be able to ride along the Ala Wai in little boats up and down in the evenings, don't know how much it costs...it was beautiful. Hopefully that could happen once again?

As a kid used to scoop net jelly fish in the 70's out of ala wai and look for golf balls to sell at the golf course while swimming in the ala wai to find golf balls. Sold it for a quarter for one or fifty cents if it was a brand name ball in Woolworths. Yep, if you remember that, that kid was me, still today the only kid who sold golf balls at the ALA WAI golf course. Aloha.
