    The "3 articles praising Liverpool and 11 articles castigating Man U" argument is silly. United lost 7-0 (thats SEVEN nil), the club's heaviest defeat in 90 years and joint biggest ever, of course that was the bigger talking point. They were a shambles. We (Liverpool) had also been having a rubbish season so while it was a great one off game that's all it was.

    Simon keeps having a dig at Utd fans, the problem with his argument regarding Jim “the Glazer” Ratcliffe is, the alternative was no debt, more money for infrastructure, the Glazers gone and no other greedy businessman coming in, putting even more debt on the club. The bottom line is, the reason the club is a mess is due to incompetent people like the Glazers and Jim Rat who put profit before success. 4th place ever year is successful and better financially than pushing for league titles. Middle Eastern frame work is to be the best. American/British is to drain as much money out as possible.

      It's because they are one of the most popular teams in the world. So making articles on United generates clicks and views. As soon as they get 3 wins on the bounce, those same media outlets start hyping them up as champion contenders. So it swings both ways. Uniteds main issue is they use big wages to attract players. This removes all drive and creates this player power and mercenary environment.

    • @Indie127
      @Indie127 Před 6 měsíci

  • @melletard

    Can't compare those 2 managers... But you can compare Brighton to Man U? Brighton have a model and are steps ahead in case managers are poached... Really? They had potter for a few year who did well, poached and burned at chelsea. They brought in Dzerbi from Ukraine and he's had 1 good season... No one can name another manager before that. These arguments against united are so ridiculous. Back the manager because United need a massive rebuild which will take years... Great 1st season under ETH, 3rd place, a trophy, and FA final. 2nd season, decimated by 1st team injuries and other player setbacks, and the form and style is struggling and all these knee jerk pundit mouth pieces, media outlets looking for clicks and fans scream "sack him!"... The minority and the dumbest always have the biggest megaphone.
