- I was out storm chasing in Kansas when I heard this amazing ambience of Eureka’s 2T22 in Attack Signal. I couldn’t pass up a recording of this, so pulled out my phone and went from there. Enjoy!

I like the sound of that ambient tornado siren.

its like a scaffold
@@jav13123 yeah.
And Whelen finback of some kind
Lmao, this siren goes off every Monday. Still gives me the creeps.
I saw that this is a bad storm everywhere
Um, what happened to sonics drive in? Where is the lights?
And, why is the traffic lights flashing?
Attack mode used for tornado emergency when funnel cloud touches down within city limits.
it sound like that one scene from war of the worlds 2005
And I now know that my boss has had her truck for a good couple of years probably! Took me a moment to recognize it but no one can mistaken her truck for another with that flag window decal in the middle there!
Unusual for it to sound in attack, rather than alert for a natural disaster like a tornado. Are those traffic lights, in the beginning, flashing automatically because of the tornado warning, or is that not related?
Kind of. There are still several places that use attack signal for tornadoes though. I find it to be more “attention getting” that way. As for the traffic lights, it was late at night when this happened, so the lights were flashing because of little to no traffic.
@@joelrobinsonwxsrn Makes sense, might as well not hold up drivers trying to get home or find a safe place to park and find shelter.
Are you sure it's a tornado siren? Because it sounds like a fire siren.
This is a tornado siren. A Tornado Warning was issued for the area, so the siren was sounding off for that. Also, tornado sirens and fire sirens are the same thing. It just depends on what they’re used for. More than likely a 3T22 would be a fire siren over a 2T22 anyway.
CLM OR 3T22 OR 2T22B or 3t22a or 3t22b 3t22a
Very moronic to be out driving around!
