Essential oils do work. And by work I mean:
1: make you smell nice
2: help you relax
3: (somewhat) repel mosquitoes
That's all they do.
idk about any others but i know that tea tree oil kills fleas pretty effectively, but is toxic to animals

Pretty sure they can also melt your skin, some of them, even if they're diluted they can cause some damage, and you're super not supposed to ingest them
You forgot to add: Possibly attracts all sorts of bugs, the most irritating of people, and can cause potentially lethal and/or life threatening allergic reactions.
The amount of times I've been recommended lavender essential oils and had to explain that I'm [mildly] allergic to lavender and then had them not understand how I could POSSIBLY have a negative reaction to one of their most sacred smelly oils is.... Too damn many.
(I specified mildly bc it's just nausea, headaches, a rash/hives if it gets in contact with my skin, etc. but I've heard of other cases where people have had serious life threatening allergies to whatever the essential oil is distilled from (for example lavender essential oils it's lavender), and people STILL not taking it seriously! Like it's a concentrate of the thing they're allergic to! It's literally EXTRA deadly FOH!)

As a trans minor, that 'Hunting Season' one was pretty terrifying. It's hard to convey how terrifying it is to remember people want you dead for existing. Makes me scared to ask people to call me the right name.
This is so insane and it's not a thing that usually happens! It isn't always easy, but most countries are a lot safer than they used to be and safer than other people may still make you think. Don't let it scare you into hiding.

I’m quite sure he must have decent grades just not “straight A’s” in all classes inclusive of honor’s courses which of course give you the additional point of 5 rather than the 4. That’s how I had greater than a 4.0 when I graduated high school 100 years ago.
I did a bit of some research. The college he was going to (NM state) had like an average of a $7,091 tuition. I honestly feel pretty bad for that kid based on how his mom reacted. Not to mention how most college aged kids now a days get part time jobs. He didn't choose some expensive ivy league college, and his scholarship should have made his mom proud. It wasn't a ridiculously great scholarship, but he likely didn't need a ridiculously great scholarship.
Not to mention that there's a lottery scholarship in New Mexico, so he likely got other scholarships alongside the one he got.

Nah. You can eat tremendous amounts of melatonin, as its just a hormone, before its really dangerous. Sure you'll probably have a bit of a "hangover" if you eat more than that. It would be sold very cautiously if it was dangerous. In the US you can pretty much pick it up at walmart, from what i've been told.
But it does ring some alarm bells when you feed your toddlers any type of sleeping medication.

The one around 8:10 physically hurt me. Having a 4.0 GPA only got my brother $1,200 in scholarships (this year). Grades aren't all that (though truly earning good grades by being a hard worker definitely helps you stay in college).

I have a particularly same ish story. So i used to study at a very rich school at grade 4. And you know thosr people who are the like class clowns or the ones that are always being noisy? Well our section had a lot of them. There was particularly one person. He was foreign and he hated this teacher that was so strict the name of the guy is william . And the feeling was mutual. One day, she got pregnant and the baby died bc of her sleeping position. So we were al sad and sorry. She started understanding patience for becoming a mother so she lowered her temper. We eventually had fun and liked her. Then one day she got pregnant again after some months. Now william came back after 2 days of being absent in the week. He already had a bad record so the teacher scolded him. In return, william punched her tummy so hard that the baby died. He then got expelled and was not allowed to return until college. Now hes an owner of a company and gets embarrassed everytime we have a reunion and talk about the teacher.

I got a 70% scholarship from the best high school on my country and my mom yelled at me about how it wasn’t 100%. In 6th grade, when I got an award for art at my school, she yelled at me because I didn’t get science even with my straight A’s. Never knew this was insane parenting until this subreddit.
