    I absolutely love the sound of a 3 cylinder supersport. That whine it produces reminds me of a supercharger. Just sounds so sexy

    You can adjust the pre-load but it is a relatively high seat. What you could do is lower the bike? I have heard that isnt a bad option but I do not know much about it.

      Charlie Football agreed. All supersports look way more tidy with underseat exhaust. Mid 2000s was the peak in superbike aesthetics imo

    The riding position is aggressive but is very well suited to this bike. It is a very agile bike, you can throw this bike back and fourth very easily and that low bar placement helps with that.

    Dude, awesome vid, Im on market for one myself, actually put one 675r 2013 on hold for me, As for the vid, you answered quite a lot of questions but some arose, like its suspension is really really hard, id want a bike for daily use and trackdays, but in my location the tarmac can be really bad in the city.. should i go on or research more?

    i hear you on that, im a massive fan of Yamaha, but with the likes of the 650, or in this case 675, there Is a large difference in the acceleration between the speeds of 80 - 100 for example, which is noticeable when overtaking traffic on a motorway in England or Highway in America. But CycleCruza, you do have a valid point, at the speeds that you can achieve on 2 wheels, compared to 4 wheels the speed difference in speed among the range of 2 wheeled vehicles is not that different.

    Street triple R is basically the same, except for the ohlins, brembo and carbon goodies. But for street riding and your occasional trackday this will be good fun without sacrificing comfort and ride quality

    Would this bike be ok as a somewhat beginners bike? I have been playing with my buds Ninja 10R and that thing rides smooth like. But he got it for 6K and dropping a 6K bike hurts less then dropping a 14k bike. Not that I dropped the 10R.... You know what I mean...

    Nice vid man. I also own a 675r and have about 1300+/- miles on it. I had the suspension adjusted for the street at about 500 miles or so and it absolutly TRANSFORMED this bike... the wrist impact dropped (didnt disappear) quite a bit. Sooo much fun. Fantastic at any rev. Corners amazingly. Cruises nice when u want to turn heads thru town and tears up the asphalt when u feel the need for speed. I put a GoPro on my cowling and tossed a vid up of a lil freeway fun. Check it out.

    Dude, super sport motors are never 'comfortable', well at least not more comfortable than any other vehicle including the bobsled. But your right that there is a difference between 'normal uncomfortable' and 'torturing uncomfortable'
    From what I've heard the 675R has a good seating position, but the gixxer is still the most comfortable super sport on the market.
    When you choose to buy a super sport you gotta remember that.

    @Xx360MLG420xX Před 11 lety +1

    Top speed of the Street Triple R is 145 mph, that is more than enough for anything you could do. The lack of fairings might be a problem, but it hasn't been reported as a huge problem, and lets face it, who is going to drive at those speeds for an extended period of time anyway? Top speed means jack shit. As long as it goes 200 km/h or something similar, I'm happy, because it means I can overtake anyone more or less.

    Uuuh, of the CBR's that I've sat on, particularly the newer ones, are a little bit high on the seat, but they're usually pretty comfortable. I'd say the most comfortable I've sat on would have to be the GSXR, really comfy, low seat height and not as much of an aggressive lean. I know they don't look as nice, but it may be worth sitting on a GSXR! (Usually a bit cheaper too!)
